Lowering myself to the shower floor, I let the tears come, feeling every bit of the hurt. My chest is so tight, it feels like it's being squeezed. It's hard to breathe, like I'm trying to get air in my lungs but it's just not happening. I sob and allow myself the time to grieve for my baby. My throat is raw by the time I start to calm down. Pulling myself back together, I give my body a final rinse and switch off the water.
