My son asked excitedly.
"No, honey" I took a deep breath. "Your daddy is dead."
I know I shouldn't lie. But I can't tell him that his father, the Alpha King had abandoned us 5 years ago.
----------------------------------------------------------
CASSANDRA
âFor the glory of Wegalla Empire, you must die!â Intruders snarled at me as I knelt on the floor.
âPlease let me see Asher. PleaseâŠâ I begged.
âHow dare you speak the name of our king!â The soldiers growled and grabbed my hair, forcing me to raise my head. They were like shadows towering over me.
âPlease. I need to talk to him. Iâm pregnant. I have his baby!â I cried.
The head soldier snorted. âBaby? You think youâd be qualified to deliver a baby for our king? He wonât come to you anymore. Donât you understand? Heâs with Lady Adalyn. Now drink it!â
âNo!â
He pulled me harshly, gripped my face and pried my mouth open. Mysterious liquid flew down my throat.
Burning. I began to gag.
âDie! You wretched moron.â They spat at me before slamming the door. And I heard the click of the lock.
I struggled to move, but my eyes felt swollen, and my legs were strengthless. The smell of smoke quickly filled the room.
Fire engulfed me.
--
Five Years Later
My mind wandered as I stared out the window. The sky was a perfect clear blue, and the air was filled with the sound of childrenâs laughter. A smile formed on my lips at the sound.
Far beyond me, the pups, accompanied by their parents, made their way toward the forest not too far away from where I sat. It was finally time for the annual hunting festival, and the pups chattered and giggled with excitement as they tugged at their motherâs and fatherâs sleeves.
I remembered their innocent happiness well. When I had been a pup myself, Iâd been infinitely impatient and raced far ahead of my father and brother, urging them the entire way to move faster. Iâd been so excited to get a glimpse of the hunting group I wished to one day be a part of. I was eager to find my place amongst the Pack.
Iâd been grown for a long time now, and yet, these pups had more freedom than me.
Ever since the deadly inferno, Iâd lost the ability to shift into my wolf form, my life had changed completely.
I lost everything. My wolf, my name, my identity, and all I used to love and cherish. Iâd moved far away and came to the Wild Crawler Pack, where Iâd lived as someone else ever since.
Just as I was starting to feel the familiar ache of loneliness, the sound of footsteps rang out behind me. I snapped out of my stupor and turned to see Marley behind me.
âSheesh, Cassandra, I almost fell asleep at my desk.â
Marley paused for a breath. She ran her hands through her thick dark hair. Her light green eyes were slightly bloodshot, but her small smile offset her tired aura. âItâs been such a crazy day. I couldnât help but doze off between patients.â
âI understand completely,â I agreed with her. âHere, come sit down. We still have a while until our next appointment.â
Marley was my assistant here at the clinic. Fiver years ago, when Emmett saved me from the fire and brought me to his pack, he taught me how to be a healer. And Marley had been my first patient. Shortly after I helped heal her, she decided she wanted to help others as well, and now she was my right-hand woman.
Marley took a seat on the stool beside me and then glanced out the window.
âI canât believe itâs already time for the hunting festival,â she sighed, and she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. âThe kids have been going crazy for days. I swear, theyâve been driving me absolutely insane, Cass.â
âIâm sure,â I mused. âThe village has been loud all week.â
âI wish I cared more,â Marley admitted. âBut the festival really doesnât interest me much. Visitors from other packs are troublesome. Can you imagine? I was stopped by them three times this morning for the question â âHow to get to the forest?â. Gosh. Canât they read signposts? They are everywhere on the streets. And with how crazy my kiddos have beenâŠâ
She let out a heavy sigh, âI wish they could be more like your Finnick. Heâs such a good boy. Mine are little monsters, no matter what I do. Youâre lucky Finnick hasnât begged you to come with him-â
She paused for a moment, and a strange expression crossed her pretty face.
âSorry, Cassandra,â she said quietly. âI didnât mean to bring that up-â
Marley knew I was unable to shift, and therefore, I was not allowed to enter the forest, even the safe zone.
I simply gave her an understanding smile. âDonât even worry about it. Besides, Finnick is too young to watch anyway. If he was of age, Iâm sure circumstances would be different.â
It had been five years past since that calamity. I need to go on.
âSo where is your sweet boy?â Marley wondered with a curious expression.
âHeâs with the Luna and her children,â I replied.
I was grateful that the Luna of the Wild Crawler Pack had been so generous as to offer to watch my son while I ran the clinic. The hours were incredibly long, and my patient list had grown endless recently. Marley and I were busier than ever.
A sickness was running through the Wild Crawler Pack, one with an unsure origin I had yet to place. It was accompanied by a peculiar mark on different parts of the patientâs bodies, each slightly raised, red, and warm to the touch. Iâd biopsied several of them, and yet, I hadnât found an answer that made any sort of sense.
âThatâs a good place for him,â Marley interrupted my thoughts again, and then beyond us, bells rang out. She glanced up at the clock. âLooks like itâs time for our next patient. Ready to go?â
I nodded. âLetâs go.â
Half an hour later, my patient thanked me and walked out of the clinic. Suddenly, a man burst into the room.
It was Jasper, one of the Alphaâs guards. I knew him very well, as he was often sent to collect me on behalf of the Alphaâs family if medical attention was needed.
âThe Alpha needs you right away, Cassandra,â he addressed me hurriedly. âYou must accompany me to the Pack House. Itâs an emergency.â
âWhatâs wrong?â I asked, and worry painted my tone.
âThere isnât much time to explain,â Jasper replied. âLong story short, a prestigious guest of ours has been bitten by a viper and needs medical attention immediately.â
Panic flooded through me. Snake bites werenât anything to mess with, and we needed to act fast.
I hurriedly gathered my supplies, Marley and I followed Jasper to raced out toward the Pack House.
âWho is this prestigious guest?â I asked.
âI cannot say,â Jasper said curtly. âItâs confidential.â
âWhere did they come from?â I pressed.
He said nothing at first, and then sighed. âAnemond.â
I flinched instinctively.
Anemond was the capital of the Wegalla Empire. It resided at the heart of the Crescent Pack, the biggest and most powerful Pack that ruled our empire. It was also where the Alpha King lived, along with the higher-class werewolf families.
I hadnât heard the name Anemond in the five years. The memories began to flood back through my mind before I could stop them. Images danced in my mind- the fire, the grins of the soldiers, and the poison thatâd been forced down my throat.
Anemond was the place of my birth, and in the end, had been my nightmare.
âCassandra?â Marley mudged me back into reality. Her pretty eyes were wide with concern. âAre you okay?â
I gulped, and then nodded as I pushed away my memories of Anemond. âYes.â
I managed to pull myself together. I needed to be level-headed if we were going to heal this patient.
It didnât take us long to reach the Pack House. The enormous mansion wasnât far from the clinic.
When we crossed through the doors, we were surprised to see a crowd of people hustling around. The Pack House seemed to be in a huge commotion, and I had to duck to avoid bumping into anyone around me. This was the most activity Iâd seen here in a while.
âWow,â Marley remarked as Jasper led us down the hall. âThis must be serious. Everyone seems so upset.â
When we reached the end of the busy hall, Gareth, the Alpha of the Wild Crawler Pack was writing for us.
We bowed respectfully when we stopped in front of him.
âCassandra,â Gareth greeted me in a relieved tone, and then he looked at Marley. âAnd Marley. Iâm so glad to see you.â
Then he turned to the young male servant standing politely in the corner. âPlease escort the doctor and her assistant to the second floor,â he ordered in a stern voice. âI must be going.â
Surprise flooded through me. The second floor of the Pack House was usually reserved for the Alphaâs family and their servants. It was considered private quarters while the first floor was used for meetings and dinners.
Marley and I exchanged a glance. There was a bad feeling forming in the back of my mind, but I did my best to brush it away.
âFollow me,â the servant addressed us, and after Marley and I offered polite nods toward Gareth, we followed him down the hall and up the stairs.
At the top of the stairs was a pair of double doors, and on either side of them stood four guards. Much to my continued surprise, they werenât a part of the Wild Crawler, but the Crescent.
The guards stared at us coldly as we approached the door, but they stood aside and allowed us to enter the chamber anyway.
The moment the doors flew open, a chorus of sounds flew toward us. A tingle of anxiety moved through me, but I managed to remain calm.
The cavernous room was pure chaos. The curtains were closed, and the only light in the room came from candles and the fireplace that blazed with a crackling fire.
Servants rushed around hastily, a few with piles of towels, and others with trays of various foods, drinks, and other supplies. They all seemed to hover around a specific part of the room, and when a few moved out of the way, I noticed a large, canopied bed.
At the center of the bed was a young boy, around the same age as my Finnick. Servants attended to the boy, and even from across the room, I could see his lips were blue. Perspiration ran down his face and his eyes were squeezed tightly shut. He was clearly in pain, and his expression broke my heart.
When we got closer, I noticed the Luna of the Wild Crawler Pack, Sofia Bailey, stood beside the bed. She was just as beautiful as ever, but her short dark hair was a little out of place, and her skin was paler than usual.
When she heard our footsteps, she turned her attention to me and I noticed her eyes were underscored by light purple shadows.
âOh, Cassandra,â she sighed in relief. âThank goodness youâre here.â
The Lunaâs beautiful face looked tired, but she managed to smile at me anyway.
âThe boys are downstairs with a maid,â she answered before I could ask. âTheyâre safe and playing quietly.â
I nodded. âGood. Iâm glad theyâre okay. Now, howâs our patient?â
âNot as good, Iâm afraid,â Sofia lamented, and then she stood aside so Marley and I could approach.
I crouched down beside the boy, and when I placed my hand gently on his forehead, I was surprised to find he was hot to the touch. Heâd already broken out in a fever.
My eyes traveled down until they reached his right leg. His trousers had been rolled up, and the skin of his ankles was ghostly white, except for a huge swollen area. Clear canine marks were dug deep into the tenser skin, and a low sigh escaped me.
âPoor thing,â I whispered.
I turned to Sofia. âDid they happen to catch the viper that inflicted the bite?â
The Luna appeared unsure, and her eyes flicked over to a point beyond me.
âNo,â a deep, smoky voice said behind me. âThe guards are still searching the forest for the wretched thing.â
A tingle ran down my spine. Iâd know that voice anywhere.
For a moment, I froze in place, but after a deep breath, I turned around.
A man stood in the darkened corner, tucked away just far enough that I hadnât been able to sense him initially. He lingered in the shadows for a moment and then stepped toward me.
My heart skipped a beat when his rugged but handsome face was revealed. Though heâd changed a little with time, his cold gray eyes were the same, and they bore into mine with intensity as he advanced closer.
The tall man was none other than Asher Collins- the Alpha of the Crescent Pack and the king of the Wegalla Empire. But none of that mattered to me. He was much more than just the legendary leader of all werewolves.
He was my mate.
All those years ago, heâd left me in that house, pregnant and alone to face the inferno.
âWell, then youâll have to tell them to hurry up and find the beast,â Marley remarked beside me, and she rolled her pretty eyes in annoyance. âThe sooner the better.â
The room suddenly grew heavy and my eyes widened.
While part of me agreed with her sentiment, I couldnât believe sheâd been so bold as to say that to the Alpha King. Of course, I wasnât fully convinced that my friend knew thatâs who sheâd been addressing. If she had, I doubt sheâd have spoken so tersely.
âMarley!â Sofia exclaimed. The Luna looked shocked and embarrassed at my assistantâs outburst, and her cheeks flushed scarlet.
Asherâs eyes narrowed, and the room fell silent.
âYour Majesty, please excuse her,â Sofia begged, and she offered the Alpha King an apologetic expression and a small bow. âWe-â
Asher raised his hand, and the Luna immediately froze in place and shut her mouth.
âWait, âYour Majestyâ?â Marley gasped.
Her expression was awestruck. Clearly, sheâd realized who had been addressing us, and her cheeks darkened until they were the same color as Sofiaâs.
âShh,â I whispered as quietly as possible. Luckily, neither Sofia nor the Alpha King seemed to hear us.
Instead, Asher released a huffy sigh.
âAre these two qualified, Sofia?â he asked, and his gray eyes bore into mine intensely. âMy son deserves the utmost care, and I will not allow him to be treated by anyone who doesnât know what theyâre doing.â
His⊠son?
Had I heard him correctly?
That explained the severity and amount of guards around us, not to mention Gareth and Sofiaâs worried expressions. The boy was the son of the Alpha King, and heir to the Wegalla Empire. His survival was not only of the utmost importance, but it was in mine and Marleyâs hands.
No pressure or anything.
âYes, Your Majesty,â Sofia answered him. âCassy is the best healer in our Pack. If anyone can take care of him, itâs her.â
The Alpha Kingâs eyes continued to study me carefully.
âCassy?â he repeated back in a confused voice.
My heart thrummed in my chest as if it was ready to burst forth as I stared back at Asher. Itâd been five years since Iâd seen his handsome face, and my entire body felt like it would explode from the sheer emotion of it all. I never thought Iâd see him again, yet here he was, standing before me with the same gray eyes Iâd peered into with all my love so many years ago.
The whole world seemed to melt away as I stared back at him. While the years and likely stress of his position had aged him slightly, he was just as handsome as he was back then. His dark hair fell to his shoulders in soft waves and his skin was perfectly tan and clear. He was muscular yet lean, and with his arms folded in front of him, I could see the prominent veins that came with much physical training.
Even after all of these years, Asher Collins was still the most beautiful man Iâd ever seen.
But he was no longer mine, and I was no longer his.
âYour name is Cassy?â he addressed me directly. He leaned in closer as if to examine me, and it took all of my effort to keep from shaking. For a moment, I thought heâd find a clue of my past identity, but I knew in my heart that I looked too different now to recognize.
The inferno had destroyed my face, distorted my voice, and taken my wolf away. No part of my past identity had remained.
Asher could stare all he want.
I was no longer the same woman I once was.
âCassandra,â I replied politely. âMy name is Cassandra Keller, Your Majesty.â
The Alpha King paused for a moment.
âYouâre the best?â he asked, and when I didnât answer, he clarified. âHealer, that is?â
For a moment, I considered being humble, but his stern expression told me I needed to be confident in my abilities.
âYes,â I said. âYes, Your Majesty. Iâve been taking care of this Pack for many years. Iâm well-versed in injuries, illnesses, and bites such as the one your son has sustained. My assistant, Marley, is also well-qualified. Weâre going to do everything we can to help.â
âOkay, Cassandra,â he said in a low voice that sent a chill down my spine. âLetâs see what you can do.â
His expression softened slightly, but not enough to appear friendly. Still, I took a long, deep breath, and then addressed him calmly.
âIâll do my best,â I promised, and I fought back a shiver. âBut it will be difficult to find the cure to the boyâs bite without first identifying the viper. Different snakes have different venom, and the severity of his injury will depend on the breed and size of the creature.â
For a moment, I expected more resistance, but Asher simply nodded.
âGuards,â he called out in a stern and regal tone, and without further question, the guards whoâd been stationed at the outside doors appeared before us. Once they were in position, Asher straightened his stance and held his head high.
âPlease tell Alpha Gareth that more search squads will need to be sent to the forest,â he said. âWe need to locate the viper as soon as possible so the doctors can properly address my sonâs wounds. Please make haste. Time is of the essence.â
âYes, Your Majesty,â the guards replied in unison, and after each offered the Alpha King uniform bows, they rushed out of the chamber and shut the doors behind them.
Asher raised his chin toward us. âIf you canât heal my son, Iâll let the whole Pack die with him.â
His warning was stated calmly, as if it were just another sentence, but the rest of us felt the weight of his words crash over it. A lump formed in my throat, and when I glanced over at Sofia, her face grew pale. Marleyâs expression was no better, and as I looked around the room, the servants held similar looks of fear.
The Alpha King was no one to mess with. We needed to keep our wits about us.
So, without another word, I motioned toward Marley, and the pair of us turned our attention back to the boy.
âIâll leave you to it, Cassy,â Sofia said quietly. âIâm going to check on Finnick and the boys downstairs.â
âThank you,â I said, and I offered the Luna a small nod of respect. She smiled back at me, and then she left the chamber.
Marley and I got to work and started to fully examine the bite on the young princeâs bite. Itâd worsened even since Marley and I had arrived, and knew Asher was right- time was of the essence. We needed to act fast if we were going to save his life.
âCan we do this?â Marley whispered just loud enough for me to hear. âCassandra, this looks bad.â
âWe have no choice in the matter,â I reminded her gently. âBesides, weâve dealt with worse before. We can do this, Marley.â
My assistant paused for a moment, and then she nodded. âYouâre right. Letâs get to work.â
The next few hours passed by laboriously. As we waited for the guards to return with some sort of news about the viper, Marley and I did all we could to keep the boy comfortable.
The Alpha King remained close to us as we attended to his son, and it was unclear if he was monitoring our treatment or just studying me.
The hairs on the back of my neck stood straight up as chills continuously ran down my spine. I wasnât the kind of woman who got nervous easily, but the Alpha Kingâs very presence set every inch of my body on edge.
Of all of the people to be here, he was the last one Iâd ever have expected, and my emotions were running wild. I wasnât sure whether to cry or be relieved to see him after so long. All I knew was that this was unbelievably complicated.
After long, a pair of guards returned. Theyâd finally tracked down the viper. Luckily, it was one that Iâd seen in a medical book. I relayed all of the information I knew to Marley and Asher, and the pair of them seemed relieved to know there was a potential cure.
The Alpha King had assigned guards to accompany Marley back to the clinic to procure the herbs needed to heal the boy. My assistant seemed nervous to be surrounded by such heavily-weaponed men, but she accepted the help.
Half an hour later, she returned with the herbs, and we got to work. We prepared a salve to apply directly to the wound, and then used others to brew a tea that would treat the boy internally. The prince was weak, but we managed to help him get enough of the tea into his system to treat him properly.
Hours passed by, and by dusk, the boy finally became stable. After much fitful moaning and crying, heâd finally fallen into a quiet sleep. The blueness of his lips had disappeared, and color had returned to his cheeks. Beneath the salve, the swollenness of the bite had eased.
Once he was sustained, I sent Marley back home. She put up a bit of a fight and insisted on staying with me, but I pushed back and told her she needed to go back to her boys.
Iâd turned to the rest of the people standing around in the chamber and asked for some time alone with my patient. The guards seemed hesitant to leave me alone with the prince, but the Alpha King heeded my request and ordered the others to do the same. They filtered out of the chamber, and once they were gone, I released a sigh.
As much as the quiet was nice, asking everyone to leave us was more of an excuse than anything. My patient was stable, but I needed time to think and process the emotions that swirled around in my mind like a storm.
I hadnât been prepared to see Asher again, and I was surprised to see just how much heâd changed over the years. He was the Alpha King now, and as such, he was the ruthless leader of the Wegalla Empire. In the past, heâd seemed hesitant to take on the position, but it seemed like heâd embraced his destiny.
Not only that, but he had a son.
I glanced over at the boy. Was he also the son of Adalyn Moses?
A pang of sadness struck me. He had to be. Asher had abandoned me all those years ago and left me to suffer for the sake of marrying Adalyn. It would make sense that heâd have a son with her.
My chest suddenly felt tight, and for a moment, I thought I was about to cry, but I forced those feelings down. Asher Collins was the Alpha King now. What he did was none of my business anymore, and I couldnât let him affect me like this.
Suddenly, a soft whimper interrupted my thoughts, and when I looked over, I watched the prince roll on his side. His sheets were thoroughly soaked from perspiration, and his forehead appeared damp as well.
âOh, sweetheart,â I murmured, and I hopped to my feet. The poor child was at risk of catching a cold.
I rushed over to the door, and peeked my head out. A pair of guards stood at attention, and they stared at me with expressions of concern.
âI need a servant,â I said. âThe prince needs a fresh set of blankets.â
The guards nodded, and one of them disappeared down the hall. I stepped back into the chamber, and a few minutes later, the doors flew open to reveal a pair of servants with piles of fresh linens. But they werenât alone. Asher Collins walked in with them, and his gray eyes flashed with concern.
âHow is he?â he demanded as he rushed over, but when he caught sight of his son, his expression softened.
âBetter,â I answered gently. âI just thought he would be more comfortable with fresh sheets.â
âOh,â Asher said simply, and he nodded. It was clear that he was a caring father, and it was strange to seem him in this light.
I stepped aside as the servants changed the princeâs sheets, and as Asher spoke quietly to his son, I felt a lump form once again in my throat. My stomach turned and for a moment, I thought I was going to throw up. Tears welled in my eyes, and I dug my nails into my palms.
This was too hard.
Once the servants were done, they left the chamber, and I wanted to follow. So, I turned to Asher.
âYour son just needs rest,â I managed to say. âHeâs recovering quite well, so I think I should take my leave.â
Before he could say another word, I turned on my heels and headed toward the doors. Iâd nearly made it there when Asherâs voice rang through the chamber.
âStay,â he demanded.
I froze for a moment, and then took a step forward. Then he spoke again, his voice hardened and deadly serious.
âI said stay.â
I was stunned by the severity of his tone. He wasnât addressing me as Asher Collins. He was ordering me as the Alpha King.
The last thing I wanted was to stay in the chamber alone with him and the sleeping prince, but as much as I wanted to disobey his order, I knew I had no choice. He was the ruler of the realm, and I could face horrible consequences if I didnât obey.
So, I turned back around. I was about to walk back over to the bed when a thought crossed my mind.
âMy apologies, Your Majesty, but I need to go and take care of my son,â I explained, and it took all of my effort to keep my voice steady.
âYour son?â Asher repeated back, and he crossed his arms against his chest.
âYes, my son,â I answered. âHeâs waiting for me. Iâve been working all day, so I havenât had the chance to see him yet.â
âWhere is he?â the Alpha King pressed. His gray eyes narrowed as if he didnât wish to let me leave.
âHe is with the Luna Sofiaâs children,â I answered. âDownstairs, I believe. â
âHe will be brought here then,â Asher replied, and he raised his chin. âYou cannot leave before my son awakens.â
His tone was even harsher than his first demand, and a chill ran down my spine.
âA guard will collect your son,â he said. âYou will remain here with mine. Is there anything you need in the meantime?â
I shook my head. âNo, Your Majesty. I have all I need right here.â
âThen take a seat,â he ordered. âI will speak with my guard at once.â
I nodded politely, and then walked back over to the side of the room. I took a seat beside the princeâs bed, meanwhile, Asher crossed over to the double doors. He poked his head out and spoke to the guards in a commanding voice.
Then the doors closed again. As Asher walked back toward me, I felt my hands begin to shake. There was no way the Alpha King could see my Finnick, but what could I do? The plan had already been set in motion, and there was nothing I could do to stop it.
All I could do was hope the prince would awaken so I could leave the Pack House with my son and put this day behind me.
Asher took a seat opposite me, and when he wasnât looking, I carefully scooted my seat back a little. There wasnât much I could do to stay away from him, but I would try my best to maintain distance. I was scared he could hear how fast my heart was racing in my chest or how my breath was uneven. I was worried he could tell I was uneasy.
I couldnât risk him being suspicious about any of this.
We spent our time in an uncomfortable silence. Asherâs eyes remained fixed on his son, and I tried to look elsewhere to avoid him. All the while, I prayed the Alpha Kingâs son would awaken, and the attention would be taken away from this entire interaction.
Suddenly, the doors of the chamber flew open, and moments later, a set of footsteps rang out against the polished wood floors.
âMommy!â Finnick exclaimed happily, and when I looked up, I saw my son headed toward me at full speed. Once he reached me, I wrapped my arms around him and drew him into a hug.
âFinnick!â I said, and I planted a kiss on his forehead.
âMommy, where have you been?â Finnick wondered, and he tilted his head to the side slightly. âI missed you.â
He frowned and pouted ever-so-slightly. I fought back a laugh at his expression and smiled. Despite the look on his face, Finnickâs words brought me happiness. Our bond was wonderful, and my son always brought me joy no matter what. He had been the reason Iâd been able to carry on for the past five years and was my entire reason for living.
âIâve missed you too, honey,â I said, and I softened my voice. âWe need to stay quiet, alright?â
Finnick nodded. âOkay, Mommy.â
âDid you have a good day?â I asked, and Finnickâs face lit up. He was about to speak when he glanced over at the sleeping boy beside us. He raised a finger to his lips and then nodded again.
âYes,â he whispered considerately. âWe played hide and seek in the garden, and then Auntie Sofia taught us how to draw a flower. Dominic said it was called a dandelion.â
Dominic was Sofiaâs son, and he was around Finnickâs age. They were dear friends, and Finnick thought of the Lunaâs son like a brother.
âA dandelion?â I repeated back quietly. âOh wow! Do you have the picture with you?â
Finnick nodded happily, and then reached into his pocket. He pulled out a small piece of paper and handed it to me excitedly.
I opened the folded paper carefully, and my lips curled into a smile. Heâd indeed drawn a dandelion, and heâd done a great job.
âThis looks great, Finnick,â I complimented him. âCan I keep this?â
âOf course, Mommy,â Finnick replied.
It was then I remembered Asher. I glanced over at him and when we made eye contact, a feeling of dread ran through me. Had he been watching us this entire time? My heart skipped a beat, but I quickly looked back to Finnick.
âThank you,â I said, and I kissed his forehead. Finnick grinned and then gave me a huge hug.
âWait, Mommy, whoâs he?â Finnick asked once he pulled away, and this time, he was staring right at Asher.
My heart skipped again as I searched my mind for an answer. How would I explain who he was to my son? Before I could say anything, Finnick gasped and pointed at Asher.
âLook, Mommy, he has the same gray eyes as me,â he remarked in awe. âBut you said it was rare to have this color eyes!â
My own eyes widened and I froze. Asherâs attention fell to my son, and his lips parted ever so slightly.
Heâd noticed it too. | LEARN_MORE | https://www.novel-oasis.com/share/middle/dab0gmldz | 104897268381196 | LeNovel | https://facebook.com/100077514365255 | 724 | 1 | 1,070,120,897,451,583 | 2023-12-15 02:00 | person_profile | eligible | 0 | 0 | NONE | 0 | 1 | 0 | 1 | Learn more | 0 | LeNovel | 120203674163170308 | www.novel-oasis.com | NONE | video | https://www.novel-oasis.com/share/middle/dab0gmldzs5zcetuzgnbdyhx?ad_id={{ad.id}}&campaign={{campaign.name}}&adgroup={{adset.name}} | 2023-12-15 03:01 | https://scontent-dfw5-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/410804373_920831359452914_1934353366134921429_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_s60x60&_nc_cat=102&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=A1Noxp9mPqgAX8_eBOG&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-2.xx&oh=00_AfB6BCH1g3fCdQgFO1z-sdnB6Vj4EAuNzONzl2OcaYj_sw&oe=6591DB3A | person_profile | 0 | LeNovel | https://scontent-dfw5-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/410972885_886386522806678_8349100725694132911_n.jpg?_nc_cat=100&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=YKdxocuV_kwAX-YqKPa&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-2.xx&oh=00_AfAVZRuCttoVM5XVZ0l-sVfFzoc-Flx7ATLt8sqeJ-6n_Q&oe=65929854 | 0 | 3 | LeNovel | 0 | 0 | 2023-12-15 02:00 | View Edit Delete | |||||||||||||||||||||

Cela faisait quatre ans!

Et cela a fait l'effet d'une bombe, suscitant l'intĂ©rĂȘt de tous! | LEARN_MORE | https://www.yumread.com/share/middle/5alnvv1llnjgl | 101489936134366 | OasisStory | https://facebook.com/100087803393468 | 2,960 | 1 | 896,764,858,329,849 | 2023-12-17 02:00 | person_profile | eligible | 0 | 0 | NONE | 0 | 1 | 0 | 1 | Learn more | 0 | OasisStory | 120202765743110465 | www.yumread.com | NONE | video | https://www.yumread.com/share/middle/5alnvv1llnjglcqjkzvf5kgr?ad_id={{ad.id}}&campaign={{campaign.name}}&adgroup={{adset.name}} | 2023-12-15 22:53 | https://scontent-lga3-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/409875767_330942076389490_924431818483267414_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_s60x60&_nc_cat=107&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=p_WXY8T8P0YAX9v2QYH&_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-2.xx&oh=00_AfBIc7EqykIh7VBwown_X261dNa1ZbaTjx_opE2FgF_bYg&oe=659259EE | person_profile | 0 | OasisStory | https://scontent-lga3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/411125840_851174326687993_1961144210991764876_n.jpg?_nc_cat=108&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=6pLhbc7zmRUAX8nYqfR&_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-1.xx&oh=00_AfBZ5Le5xqNxQWst7rWRQUR5htgkgXdIEie2K7LvSEZ1OQ&oe=6591CE7B | 0 | 3 | OasisStory | 0 | 0 | 2023-12-16 02:00 | View Edit Delete | |||||||||||||||||||||

She took nothing with her but her IDs, not even the bank card that had 100 million dollars in it.
And in these four years, there had been no news of her at all. It had been four years.
She just disappeared from his world completely.
Until four years later, Joanna came back with her sons and another man.
Even though they were divorced, Bruce still felt cheated on and even betrayed.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was midnight, and the raindrops were pounding the window.
Inside a house, a man said coldly, "sign the divorce papers! As compensation, I will give you 100 million dollars in alimony."
"Did I do something wrong again, Bruce?" asked Joanna Haynes timidly. She had always been a humble servant in front of him.
"Roxy's back, and she doesn't want to see you! It's time for our marriage to end. So you have to go!" Bruce Everett said, crossing his long legs and leaning back on the couch. He was as handsome as a classical Greek sculpture, but the look on his face was as cool as ever.
Joanna's pale lips quivered as if she had fallen into the icy water. She asked with shock, "You're divorcing me because she's back? Is our marriage nothing but a joke to you?"
"You were not the one I wanted to marry in the first place, and you drove Roxy away two years ago with your dirty tricks. Now that she's back, I won't make the same mistake. Hurry up and sign the papers! 100 million dollars for two years of your pathetic life. You should consider it a bargain." Bruce had always been good at hurting her with words.
"I... What will happen if I don't sign them?" Joanna asked bitterly.
"Suit yourself. I have ways of making you disappear. Legally or not, no one will notice."
As heir to the richest family in the Greyport city, Bruce had always been capable of doing whatever he liked. Who would dare to stand up to him anyway?
Two years ago, Joanna's family decided to get connected with the Everetts by marriage.
However, at the engagement banquet of Bruce and Roxanne, Joanna's step-sister, the man was drugged. Later in the lounge, Bruce mistook Joanna for Roxanne, and they slept with each other.
The next day, the scandal of the Haynes group's eldest daughter hooking up with her brother-in-law was all over the newspaper.
Roxanne Haynes' mental state broke, and she was sent to a nursing home abroad for treatment.
Everyone took Joanna as the most shameless homewrecker, pointing fingers at her for sleeping with her brother-in-law.
Bruce hated her even more and decided that Joanna was the one who drugged him and climbed onto his bed.
Yet, the Everett family and the Haynes family shared a friendship for generations. Moreover, this marriage was meant to deepen the connection.
Hence, the elders of both families, Raymond Haynes and Margaret Everett, insisted on Bruce and Joanna getting married.
The past two years of marriage had been a living hell for Joanna.
Her tolerance and affection did not make it any better. In return, she got more humiliation and torture. Joanna was exhausted, both mentally and physically.
So what if Bruce wanted a divorce? She'd had enough anyway!
"Fine, I'll sign them, but I have a request."
"Spit it out then!" Bruce believed that Joanna was thinking about more money!
After all, that was what she, a scheming woman, could only care about.
"I want you to sleep with me as a real lover does for once. For the past two years, every time you've been with me, you've called out Roxanne's name. Yeah, you've made me feel like I'm the worst woman in the world, and I've had enough! I'm your wife, and I want you to call out my name while sleeping with me for the last time. I am Joanna, not Roxanne!" For the first time, Joanna was screaming hysterically and trembling with anger.
Each time in the past two years, Bruce would deliberately call out the wrong name! He had sex with her simply to punish and humiliate her. There was no love in it at all!
"Oh, stop the nonsense. There's someone waiting for me downstairs..."
Joanna snorted with self-mocking laughter.
Then it probably was Roxanne who was waiting for him downstairs!
"She can wait a little longer. She's been waiting for two years, and I think she can be patient enough for another few minutes. Do what I said or not. Suit yourself. I don't mind the media writing stories about me again!"
Bruce hated being threatened the most. His thin lips curled into a sneer. A few seconds later, he replied, "Fine, I'll do it. But don't you regret it, Joanna!"
Bruce jerked to stand up, seized her by the blouse, and pulled her over violently.
And then...
Her stockings were ripped apart...
The man did not even give her a warning before hurting her!
"AH!" Joanna cried, shutting her eyes in pain!
Bruce was as ruthless as ever, almost cruel.
He never cared if it hurt her or not. Or maybe watching her suffer simply pleased him!
Good! Very good!
She would remember this, remembering the man's cruelty to her for the rest of her life.
"Joann. Oh, Joann. Are you happy now?"
He finally called her name as he was on top of her.
Though it was quite a humiliation, she could finally get rid of the depression that haunted her for two whole years.
Joanna felt tears streaming down her cheeks as she said in a heartbroken tone, "Bruce Everett! I won't love you anymore!"
Bruce had heard what she said but chose to ignore it. He caught her jaw contemptuously, looked down at her face, and sneered!
She was... beautiful!
This woman had such a pretty and innocent face, but her mind was filled with filth and schemes.
That was why her so-called love for him would only make him sick.
"Sign the divorce papers, take the money, and leave Greyport forever!"
Having said that, Bruce left without looking back, leaving her lying on the floor in a mess.
Two months later...
In a hospital.
"Congratulations, Ms. Haynes, you are pregnant with more than one. But I suggest you give up one or two of the fetuses, or there will be too many at risk!"
Giving up?
No, she would not take away the right to live from any of her children!
It was her baby and hers alone! One way or another, she was gonna give birth to them and raise them right...

##Chapter 2 The Return Of Joanna
Four years later.
In the intensive-care unit of a hospital.
"I'm sorry, we tried everything we could, but Raymond isn't getting any better. You should go inside and bid farewell to him!"
Shaun Haynes frowned worriedly and said, "Doc, will you please try something else? If my father can't make it, all the properties of the Haynes family will be bequeathed to the government... oh, what to do... none of us have even seen Joanna over the years. Damn it, and my father, too. We don't know what he was thinking. How could he ignore his grandsons who keep him accompanied every day while only caring for that wretched daughter of mine!"
Everyone in the Haynes family was miserable these days.
Raymond, Shaun's father, drafted an odd will on his deathbed.
He left 51% of the Haynes Group to his eldest granddaughter, Joanna. As for the other members of the Haynes family, they would inherit only 10%.
In other words, Joanna would become the largest shareholder of the Haynes Group.
Yet, according to the additional condition to the will, if Joanna did not show up before Raymond's death, all the properties of the Haynes family would go straight to the government.
So, the Haynes family had been looking for Joanna desperately for these days.
However, it was like Joanna had disappeared from the world!
No one ever heard from her and saw her even once since she and Bruce got divorced.
"The way I see it, that girl is simply going against us on purpose! No one knows where the hell she has been for all those years!"
Shaun's second wife, Ingrid Haynes, was cursing furiously, and her face twisted a little.
Back then, she, with the twins in her belly, kicked Joanna and Joanna's mother out of the family. Then Ingrid gave birth to her third son, thinking that her position in the family was absolutely secured.
She had never expected that she would have nothing in the end.
Of all three children of hers, the old man still favored that Joanna girl.
"Dad, Mom, Grandpa's awake!"
"Joann... my Joanna..." Raymond had been in a coma for more than a dozen days. His hours were numbered.
And before his death, his only concern was for his eldest granddaughter, Joanna.
Joanna had been missing for four years, and that worried Raymond so much. He even suspected that Ingrid might have somehow murdered his beloved granddaughter.
"Dad, aren't Rick, Ryan and Roxy all your grandchildren? Your will is not fair! You basically leave nothing to them! They might as well just go out on the street and beg for a living if you insist on donating everything to the government!"
"Joann... Let me see Joann. You won't get a penny before that..."
Ingrid shouted in a low voice, "It's been four years, Raymond! Who knows where she's gone? Plus, if she really cares for you, how can she not show up to see you for the last time?"
A hint of impatience crossed Roxanne's eyes, and she couldn't help but ask, "Bruce, do you know where my sister has been?"
Bruce froze because he did not know the answer to this question.
Four years ago, after their divorce, Bruce thought Joanna was going to keep harassing him or at least make a scene!
Unexpectedly, the next day, Joanna moved out. She took nothing with her but her IDs, not even the bank card that had 100 million dollars in it.
And in these four years, there had been no news of her at all. Of course, as proud as Bruce was, he never contacted her either.
It had been four years!
Still, Bruce didn't believe she would let go so easily! He had prepared so many plans to get rid of her as long as she showed up. Yet it turned out that he didn't need any of them!
She just disappeared from his world completely.
"Joann... Joann!"
"Oh, come on, Grandpa's dying! Go get the doctors..."
The ECG monitor told everyone that Raymond's heartbeat was stopping. In tears, his family members all gathered around the bed!
They were crying, not for Raymond's approaching death, but for the properties that were about to be donated!
Tap, tap, tap...
From the hospital corridor came the sound of high heels!
Creak.
The door of the ward was pushed open.
The one who came in was wearing a custom-made white suit! A limited-edition bag was in her hands, and the oversized sunglasses covered most of her face. Her slender legs were long enough, but the high-heeled shoes brought them out even more.
She walked in with the ice-cold-beauty sort of vibe, seeming to cause the temperature in the ward to drop a few.
"Who is this woman? Did we know her? Who allowed her to be here?"
"It's me. I'm here to see my grandpa!" Joanna took off her sunglasses slowly and walked towards the bed.
"Joanna!" The others all gasped.
She had changed so much.
Her long dark hair that she used to keep straight had become curly brown. It used to reach her waist, but now the end of it was dancing around her shoulder. She had changed completely from the next-door sweet girl to a mature, sexy career lady!
What was even more remarkable was that Joanna appeared to be much fitter than before. Meanwhile, the innocence in that pair of eyes had also been emptied. By simply looking into her eyes, one could tell that she must have experienced a lot in the past years!
"Joanna? Oh, finally, Joanna! The Haynes family will be ruined if you don't show up..."
For the first time ever, all the members of the Haynes family were so glad to see Joanna.
"I'm sorry, grandpa. I'm sorry I'm late!"
"Joann," Raymond called out and hardly opened his eyes, "I'm glad that you are safe and alive. Oh, I can finally be relieved..."
With that, Raymond reached out, but the next second, his hand fell back on the bed weakly, his head tilted, and his eyes shut!
Beep!
The ECG was beeping, declaring Raymond's death!
"Grandpa? Grandpa!" Joanna called out, tears rolling down her cheeks.
She knew that her grandpa was the only Haynes that ever cared about her!
"Ah, come on, stop those fake tears! You would have been here long ago if you ever cared about grandpa! Now that it's time to talk about inheritance, you came?" said Shaun's eldest son, Derick. The sarcasm in his tone was obvious.
He had never taken Joanna as his elder sister, and now that she was the biggest beneficiary of Raymond's legacy, Derick hated Joanna even more!
"Enough of that. Call someone and get the funeral arranged first!" said Shaun. Reasonably grieving as he patted Joanna on the shoulder. "Joann, now that you're back, move back home!"
Ingrid's lips curled in disdain, but she was saying merrily, "That's right, come and live with us! Also, your grandfather made a will on his deathbed. He wants you to inherit 51% of the Haynes Group. The illness must have confused his brain. How could he leave such a large enterprise to a girl who knows nothing about it? Joann, you're still young and dumb. Just let your father continue to run the business."
Ingrid said it as if Joanna was meant to follow her instructions. Deep down, Ingrid was convinced that Joanna was just as stupid as her mother!
By the time Joanna moved back to their house, she would be in Ingrid's full control.
Joanna was expressionless. She said coldly, "I don't want to think about that right now. I just want to take care of grandpa first."
"Yeah, yeah, you're right on this. Raymond's funeral is the most important thing now. Everything else can be postponed."

##Chapter 3 Jaydon Grimm
It was late afternoon after the mortuary house picked up Raymond's body.
Joanna walked out of the hospital with the others.
"Where do you live? My driver will give you a ride!" Bruce said. His voice was kind of hoarse because Joanna had not spoken to him once before this.
Joanna smiled politely and shook the car keys in her hand. "Thanks, but I drove here."
The indifferent look on her face made it look like she was simply being polite to a total stranger.
Yet Roxanne took it that Bruce was hitting on Joanna. Her face fell, and quickly, she held Bruce's arm affectionately, saying, "Joann, why don't you move back in with us? At least, you don't have to be alone, and..."
"It's easier for me to stay in a hotel. Bye!" Joanna waved politely and headed for the underground parking.
Soon, a silver Bentley pulled out of the parking lot, and it roared off while in front of the crowd.
"It seems that my sister has been living a good life these years! She could enjoy such a rich life without any help from the family."
Bruce did not reply.
During the four years when Joanna had been gone, for various reasons, Bruce did not marry Roxanne. Moreover, with these four years, he realized that Roxanne was simply not the one for him.
The only reason that he did not break up with Roxanne was because of his family. The Haynes family was a wealthy one, but it was nothing compared with the Everetts. However, the elders of both families were close friends. That was why the Everett family had always been taking care of the Haynes family.
Except for that, there was another crucial reason. Ten years ago, Bruce nearly drowned while he swam, and it was Roxanne who saved him. Ever since then, he swore that he would love and protect this girl for the rest of his life.
"Joann has always been striving since she was just a kid. She is smart and good with men, too. See her fancy clothes and car? She must have hooked up with some wealthy fellow again. Unlike her, Roxy, you are always stupid and innocent, and people all try to take advantage of you." Ingrid seemed to be praising Joanna, but it was not hard to recognize what she was implying.
"Mom, what are you talking about?"
"Oh, I just want you to learn from Joann. Do you see how good she's been doing? Girls like her are never for us to be worried about wherever she goes. There aren't many girls as smart as her anymore."
Bruce somehow was a little upset. "Ingrid, Roxy, I must go now. I have an important meeting tonight."
"Yeah, sure. Drive safe, alright?" said Ingrid with a flattering smile, afraid of offending her daughter's promising husband-to-be.
Bruce said nothing more, turned around, and got into a car...
Having watched Bruce's car disappear, Roxanne stamped her foot in anger. She complained, "It's all your fault, Mom! You should never have put that bitch Joanna in Bruce's bed six years ago. Bruce never mentions marrying me again. And now that Joanna's back, what are we gonna do?"
Ingrid gritted her teeth grumpily. What her daughter complained about was what Ingrid regretted the most.
She had it all well-designed six years ago.
First, she had Joanna drugged. Then she sent the girl straight to Bruce's room, convinced that Bruce was too drunk to do anything.
After that, Ingrid informed a group of Paparazzi, suggesting they write a drama about how Joanna threw herself in her brother-in-law's arms. Ingrid did so because she was expecting that once Joanna had brought dishonor to the family, the girl would be deprived of the right of inheritance.
Yet she did not expect that it would backfire.
Bruce actually slept with Joanna.
And then things got out of her hands. Under the pressure of Raymond Haynes and Margaret Everett, Bruce ended up getting married to Joanna.
Thinking of this, Ingrid said, "I did it for you, silly girl. Damn it, all because of your grandfather! That old shit has always favored that Joanna. Well, now that the old man's dead, let's see who can stand up for her this time"
"But mom..." Roxanne was still worried.
Even though Bruce had been good to her for years, she could see the frigidity in his eyes.
The man seldom smiled ever since he divorced Joanna.
Over the years, he had totally become a workaholic. Sometimes it took three or two months for Roxanne to see him around once.
"Don't worry. That idiot Joanna is just as stupid as that dead mother of hers. We are falling out with her right now. Not until she gives up her share of the inheritance first..."
Ten days later, it was Raymond's funeral.
It was drizzling rain. All members of the Haynes family had arrived at the cemetery except for Joanna. On top of that, the finest people in Greyport also showed up to pay their respects.
Not to mention the reporters that were gathering outside the cemetery.
After all, Raymond Haynes was quite a big shot in Greyport. So, of course, his funeral was well-focused.
"I heard Raymond willed the eldest daughter of the Haynes family to inherit the Haynes Group."
"Oh, my god, that girl is really shrewd. She seduced her brother-in-law six years ago and forced her sister to leave. Then she became the one marrying into the Everett family instead of her sister, and now she's the director of the Haynes Group. That's impressive!"
"Ha! So what? She's just a scheming woman. She was kicked out by the Everett family, wasn't she? Such a woman is simply disgusting."
Ingrid was overjoyed when hearing the whispers of the crowd. Trying hard to maintain the sad look on her face, she said, "May I have your attention, please? First of all, I'd like to thank you all for coming to Raymond's funeral, and..."
A reporter cut in, "Mrs. Haynes, is it true that Joanna is going to take over the Haynes Group as the new leader?"
Ingrid paused before replying, "I'm not gonna be disturbed by other things on this extremely distressing day. But for a company as big as the Haynes Group, one man's word alone can't take effect. We need a board meeting to pick the right executive director."
"Mrs. Haynes, why isn't Joanna here on such an important day?"
"Ha, that's the question you should ask her..."
While she was saying, outside the cemetery suddenly came the sounds of engines.
A stretch limo was making its way into the cemetery, followed by a fleet of Mercedes.
"Look at that license plate. It seems to be Mr. Grimm's car!" The reporters went all excited and rushed towards the Rolls-Royce.
Yes, that car belonged to Jaydon Grimm.
There were two well-known wealthy young men in Greyport. One of them was Bruce Everett, and the other was Jaydon Grimm.
He was the second son of the casino magnate in Venturas City, and he also ran an entertainment company called Starlight Media. Several new top stars in the showbiz were all artists under his company's control.
Unlike Bruce, who kept a low profile, Jaydon had always been a man of publicity.
The doors of the Rolls-Royce were opened slowly, and Jaydon stepped out first.
"Wow, it's really Mr. Grimm!" The press swarmed forward like flies smelling blood.
After Jaydon got out of the car, he turned to the other side and helped a woman who was dressed all in black out of the car like a real gentleman.
"Is this...? Wow, it's Joanna Haynes!"
"You gotta be kidding. What is Grimm doing with a woman like her?"
As they were all astonished, one by one, came out two adorable kids wearing tiny black suits.
The boys should be at the age of 3 to 4.
And it was like a bomb, igniting everyone's interest.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Due to the word limit, it can only be updated here!
Install the APP to search for the title "
The Return Of His Unrivaled Ex-Wifeâđ€©đ€© | LEARN_MORE | https://www.yumread.com/share/middle/qq41bo2f4vulp | 101928486111131 | YummyStory | https://facebook.com/100088816688674 | 194 | 2 | 345,925,481,474,526 | 2023-12-15 02:00 | person_profile | eligible | 0 | 0 | NONE | 0 | 1 | 0 | 1 | Learn more | 0 | YummyStory | 120204011744800506 | www.yumread.com | NONE | video | https://www.yumread.com/share/middle/qq41bo2f4vulppwrw5wskr1i?ad_id={{ad.id}}&campaign={{campaign.name}}&adgroup={{adset.name}} | 2023-12-15 04:44 | https://scontent-sjc3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/410156630_1049447946332316_2137188124141536505_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_s60x60&_nc_cat=104&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=GNk3VorK60MAX-HW2A6&_nc_ht=scontent-sjc3-1.xx&oh=00_AfBue-WRItxnembF4Dw0kEKkH6kR8SjkAJ0TBtvH71AYpg&oe=6591B667 | person_profile | 0 | YummyStory | https://scontent-sjc3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/410936301_3795231630802024_219154457988340433_n.jpg?_nc_cat=111&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=BwFr6hefQx8AX869E6-&_nc_ht=scontent-sjc3-1.xx&oh=00_AfDuuroUrecBy5R86sPGvf-jWvp45_cFtMuN4dA99NQWzQ&oe=6591E3CB | 0 | 3 | YummyStory | 0 | 0 | 2023-12-15 02:00 | View Edit Delete | |||||||||||||||||||||

The Return Of His Unrivaled Ex-Wifeâđ€©đ€© | LEARN_MORE | https://www.yumread.com/share/middle/frvn5lvohvrth | 110625302121558 | LeNovel2 | https://facebook.com/100095229736776 | 188 | 2 | 1,347,489,269,468,775 | 2023-12-13 02:00 | person_profile | eligible | 0 | 0 | NONE | 0 | 1 | 0 | 1 | Learn more | 0 | LeNovel2 | 120205169355240427 | www.yumread.com | NONE | video | https://www.yumread.com/share/middle/frvn5lvohvrthsitgifr1wsj?ad_id={{ad.id}}&campaign={{campaign.name}}&adgroup={{adset.name}} | 2023-12-13 04:08 | https://scontent.fcps3-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/409876092_243513971947077_6078181148745796496_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_s60x60&_nc_cat=107&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=b_45dfgNFQYAX_LkL4k&_nc_ht=scontent.fcps3-1.fna&oh=00_AfD_peZ5TFhrn1-DgNBL48nt2iZC5FaoyNgx_R65wCAQTA&oe=65923985 | person_profile | 0 | LeNovel2 | https://scontent.fcps3-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/409575740_248798661356907_3402123472359706476_n.jpg?_nc_cat=100&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=JZevS_fp3REAX9H5JC1&_nc_ht=scontent.fcps3-1.fna&oh=00_AfAeVPfD2VSuvk3USeN4sRIzrjeqgRpUvykVYr0v1igTsw&oe=6591CCD5 | 0 | 3 | LeNovel2 | 0 | 0 | 2023-12-13 02:00 | View Edit Delete | |||||||||||||||||||||

đ Click to read onđThe Return Of His Unrivaled Ex-Wifeđ | đ¶đ¶đ¶After their divorce, Bruce thought Joanna was going to keep harassing him or at least make a scene.
Unexpectedly, the next day, Joanna moved out. She took nothing with her but her IDs, not even the bank card that had 100 million dollars in it.
And in these four years, there had been no news of her at all. It had been four years.
She just disappeared from his world completely.
Until four years later, Joanna came back with her sons and another man.
Even though they were divorced, Bruce still felt cheated on and even betrayed.
--------------------------------------------------------
It was midnight, and the raindrops were pounding the window.

--------------------------------------------------------
There are limited chapters to put here, click the button below to continue reading đThe Return Of His Unrivaled Ex-Wifeđ
(It will automatically jump to the book when you open the app) | LEARN_MORE | https://www.yumread.com/share/middle/zr4wz22vk2vgf | 101489936134366 | OasisStory | https://facebook.com/100087803393468 | 2,960 | 1 | 665,217,745,803,480 | 2023-11-24 02:00 | person_profile | eligible | 0 | 0 | NONE | 0 | 1 | 0 | 1 | Learn more | 0 | OasisStory | 120201632030320115 | yumread.com | NONE | image | Inside a house, a man said coldly, "sign the divorce papers!
