No 2024-05-17 19:31 active 805 0 812533274132085 How To Make Big Paydays With Land Deals In 2024 I’ve been in real estate investing for over 20 years now, and I don't know a single person who’s been able to turn wholesaling into something sustainable. They all move on to something different – whether it’s multi-family, fix and flip, or whatever else… But even that’s silly compared to what we’re doing. We’re literally controlling the dirt, which means all deals start with us AND we have control. We rarely even have to take ownership of anything which is the best part. We're adding value to the property through what they call the entitlement process, and never have to stick a shovel in the ground before we pass it on to a homebuilder for a huge pay day. And that’s what we’re teaching at VestRight right now. How to prospect for these properties, how to navigate the entitlement process, and how to exit the deal. It’s nuts but I'd say a majority of our students right now aren’t even taking properties through the entitlement process because there’s potential 6-figure paydays by simply referring a seller to land development companies like mine. It’s a blue ocean man because most people think land development is this big scary thing that requires a ton of experience, capital, and relationships. And if you want to learn more about how we’re doing this and get in on the gold mine that is raw land… Click the link below to watch a free training. I get more into depth about all of this and about how you can get started. https://land.vestright.com/vsl-prospecting LEARN_MORE https://land.vestright.com/vsl-prospecting 1918477891613374 Cody Bjugan https://facebook.com/Codybjugan 9,588 2 452,823,217,155,988 2024-05-17 02:00 person_profile eligible 0 0 NONE 0 0 1 0 Learn More 0 Cody Bjugan 6623558342988 land.vestright.com NONE dco {{product.description}} https://land.vestright.com/vsl-prospecting 2024-05-16 18:40 https://scontent-lga3-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/441936123_1542010146361426_6469221546503905052_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_s60x60&_nc_cat=107&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=AuJMU2N5_3gQ7kNvgGacgh_&_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-2.xx&oh=00_AYDelmluqM11Tl-N8iQFIX8sucXf2QzDRITKXr0mo21vSw&oe=664DBCB6 person_profile 0 Cody Bjugan https://scontent-lga3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/442495278_1191278568909013_2022360194964157053_n.jpg?_nc_cat=106&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=qIOoJhLP61EQ7kNvgErT2nl&_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-1.xx&oh=00_AYCusxDLWeKSsEv3Fpx7SBmK_bKLOLAYKovy2SLV4Uy8gA&oe=664DD517 0 3 Cody Bjugan 0 0 2024-05-17 02:00 View Edit

That’s right — we’re not talking about properties right now. We are talking about RAW LAND. And if you want to learn how you can tap into developer level money without ever having to pull out a loan, use your own savings, do the complicated paperwork, put a shovel in the ground, or even OWN that land yourself… Click the link below to access my free training. I cover all of it. This method isn’t just more lucrative than wholesaling, rehabbing, fix & flipping or any of the real estate investing opportunities out there… It’s less competitive, less risky, and less exhausting. Even if the masses DID start to do this and this became as mainstream as the real estate methods out there… it’s still a blue ocean of endless opportunity. And if you’re thinking — ok then why are SO LITTLE people doing it? It’s because they lack the education to know how to do it RIGHT. No 2024-05-17 19:31 active 805 0 994139298947220 My new husband is disabled, yet he manages to wear me out every night He believed his wife married him for his wealth, even though he was a cripple. He planned to use her and then divorce her. Unexpectedly, after the marriage, he fell madly in love with her. His wife wanted to divorce every day, but he just wanted to pamper her!
=====
Chapter 1 How About We Get Married?
"Today is our wedding day! What am I supposed to do if you leave?" At the wedding, Elyse Lloyd was in a panic as she grabbed Theo Ward's wrist to stop him from leaving, her eyes filling with pleading.
"Kaelyn knows about our wedding, and now she's threatening to jump off a building. You are aware of her depression, aren't you? I have to go save her." Theo explained impatiently and pushed Elyse aside.
The venue was filled with the family and friends of both parties, all seated and waiting. The officiant had posed the question to Theo about his willingness to marry Elyse. Instead of replying, he ignored the officiant, answered his phone, and then abruptly attempted to leave.

"Kaelyn Bennett totally stabbed you in the back before. She's caused you so much pain--why the heck must you go see her right now?"

"You're not in a position to judge what happened between me and Kaelyn. No matter her wrongs or the pain she caused, you don't measure up to her." A pain struck Elyse's heart.

"You're more concerned with your wedding than a living person's life. You're so heartless. Let's reschedule the wedding." Without a glance at her pale face, he strode away from the ornate altar, oblivious to the puzzled looks of gathered guests.

Elyse cried out, sitting pitifully on the floor. She trembled, tears ruining her carefully applied makeup.

The man she had loved for three years, disregarding her dignity, had chosen another woman without a second thought on their big day.

He was consumed with thoughts of Kaelyn's distress but seemed indifferent to how lost and humiliated she felt, left alone at the altar.

All around her, countless eyes watched, some mocking, some pitying, and others even gloating. Elyse had never felt such torment!

Her father, Lanny Lloyd, approached. She hoped for comfort, but instead, he scolded her sharply, "You can't even keep a man. How useless!" After berating her, he left with his wife, Glenda Lloyd, without a backward glance.

Her sister, Mabel Lloyd, emerged from the crowd with a smirk. "Well, that's embarrassing, Elyse. Your groom ran off, and now you're a laughingstock. I'm embarrassed for you. Imagine how Mom and Dad feel." After saying that, she turned and left.

One by one, all of Elyse's family members departed, leaving her completely alone. Initially, Theo's parents felt guilty, but upon witnessing her family's reaction, all traces of guilt dissipated.

"Even her own parents didn't support her. It seems this isn't entirely Theo's fault."

"Yes, if she were a good partner, why would her fiancé leave her?"

"Did she cheat on him? What else would make a groom leave like that?"

The murmurs of criticism from the surrounding guests grew louder and harsher.

Suddenly, there were noises nearby.

Turning around, Elyse spotted a man in a suit sitting alone in a wheelchair. The officiant, looking flustered, asked, "Where is your bride?"

Wiping away her tears, she halted a passing staff member and inquired, "That man is a groom, right? Where is his bride?"

The staff member glanced at her and responded, "She didn't show up. I heard it was because she couldn't deal with her husband's disability."

"And he's been waiting here all this time?"

The staff member nodded.

The wheelchair-bound groom was facing away from Elyse, and they were a fair distance apart. She couldn't see his expression, but she understood the pain of being left alone.

They were both unfortunate souls, abandoned.

After a moment of reflection, a determined look settled in Elyse's eyes.

She had loved Theo for three years, but he had betrayed her. Why should she remain loyal to him? She realized she didn't need to be with him at all.

As she suddenly stood up, the guests who had been whispering and mocking her fell silent. All eyes instinctively focused on her as she lifted the hem of her dress and confidently walked toward the man in the wheelchair.

The sight of a bride in a white wedding dress approaching left the man's guests equally stunned.

Hearing the rustle of her dress, the man in the wheelchair turned around slowly.

Elyse halted and gazed at the handsome man before her, a spark of surprise in her eyes. She then extended her hand and said, "Hello, I heard you're in need of a bride. My groom just left me. How about we get married?"

Chapter 2 What Was She Up To?
"My name is Elyse Lloyd. If it's all right with you, we can get married today," she proposed confidently.

Her bold proposal left the crowd in shock, prompting several to capture the moment with their phones.

"Miss Lloyd, are you certain about this decision? Given my disability, I may not be able to provide the future you envision," the man replied openly, without hiding his condition, and gently urged her to think it over.

"I've made up my mind," Elyse responded with determination.

"I'm Jayden," he introduced himself.

Seeing her resolve, Jayden Owen grasped her hand and shared his concern, "I fear you might regret this choice later on."

Elyse chose not to respond. She was sure of her decision. She had once been solely focused on marrying Theo, who never truly reciprocated her love. Now, who she married seemed inconsequential.

After efficiently wrapping up the wedding formalities at City Hall, Elyse and Jayden were now bound by matrimony, officially united as husband and wife.

With the marriage certificate in hand, Elyse experienced a profound sense of relief.

Theo had broken her heart, and she was resolute in never returning to him.

Regarding her father, since she would not be marrying into the Ward family, he had another daughter to think about.

She understood her little sister Mabel too well. As someone driven by greed, how could Mabel resist the temptation to become Theo's wife and a member of the Ward family?

Thus, marrying Jayden was Elyse's perfect escape from her family's clutches. She had no intention of going back home again.

While she gazed thoughtfully at the marriage certificate, Jayden asked, "What's on your mind? Regretting your decision to marry a disabled man?"

Elyse shook her head, took hold of the wheelchair, and replied, "I think it was a good decision."

Jayden smiled slightly, though his eyes betrayed a hint of skepticism and mistrust.

How could any woman genuinely want to marry a disabled man? He figured she was just putting on an act--an act that couldn't last forever.

He needed a bride momentarily to distract his family while he pursued his own goals. Well, he decided, he might as well see what she was up to.

Elyse helped Jayden into the car, and they drove to his house.

Jayden's home was opulent, complete with a garden and a swimming pool, and staffed with a butler in a tuxedo and uniformed maids.

As Elyse stepped onto the plush wool carpet, she truly realized that her new husband was far from ordinary.

The butler, Driscoll Lee, approached them respectfully and inquired, "Mr. Owen, is this your bride?"

Surveying the opulent house and recollecting her newlywed husband's full name, a sudden realization dawned on Elyse.

The Owens were the most influential family in town, and Jayden Owen was particularly notable among his peers for his business acumen and exceptional talent. He was one of the wealthiest men around. However, after a car accident a year ago that cost him his legs, Jayden had faded from the public eye and his prior achievements were largely forgotten.

So, she had married the legendary Jayden Owen?

Elyse recalled hearing rumors about his engagement to a girl from the Foster family. The bride who had disappeared on her wedding day was supposed to be that Foster girl.

Upon hearing Jayden's full name at City Hall, Elyse hadn't dwelled on it much. If she had known his background sooner, she wouldn't have had the courage to broach the topic of marriage with him.

Jayden noticed the shock and panic on her face but remained silent. He still doubted that she truly hadn't recognized him. After all, his disability was well known.

"This is Elyse Lloyd, my wife. From now on, she will be the hostess here," Jayden introduced her firmly.

"Joanna Foster escaped on our wedding day because she didn't want to marry a disabled man," he added bluntly.

"Joanna Foster disappeared on the wedding day?" Driscoll expressed his surprise. The Foster family had been eager to forge a union with the Owen family through marriage, pushing for Jayden to marry Joanna.

On the wedding day, however, the bride had disappeared. Wasn't this a deliberate humiliation of Jayden?

Driscoll felt sympathy for him and offered some consolation, "Sir, perhaps it's for the best that she left. It seems you might have found the right person after all."

Elyse had shown no concern for Jayden's disability and was willing to marry him. That indeed counted for something.

Chapter 3 He Could Walk Fluidly
Looking at Jayden's legs, Elyse felt a wave of sympathy for him. Jayden had once been at the pinnacle of success, and now he seemed so vulnerable. Just because he was disabled, his bride had callously abandoned him at the altar, showing him no respect whatsoever. He must have felt even more devastated than she did during the wedding.

Approaching Jayden, Elyse took his hand and said earnestly, "Don't worry. We are husband and wife now. I will take care of you for the rest of our lives."

Jayden's expression turned rigid. Could she really mean it, promising to take care of him for a lifetime? He doubted her sincerity, thinking she was just putting on an act of compassion.

Without a word, Jayden maneuvered his wheelchair into the study on the first floor.

"I'm sorry," Driscoll said apologetically. "Since his accident, he's been a bit more temperamental."

"It's fine. I understand," Elyse replied, dismissing it with a wave of her hand. Anyone in his situation might change.

She then followed Driscoll upstairs to a room on the second floor.

--

"Sir."

In the study stood a bald man named Vinny Bailey, clad in a tight black shirt that accentuated his prominent tendons.

Respectfully, Vinny ignited a lighter and lit a cigar for Jayden.

"Joanna has gone abroad. The Foster family is desperately trying to come up with a solution."

"They've taken thirty million and five major projects from me. Is this their way of repaying me?"

Jayden let out a puff of smoke and remarked casually, "If I don't teach them a lesson, others will see me as a pushover. The Fosters need to learn a few things."

"Do you want us to bring Joanna back?" Vinny inquired, nodding. "And as for your new wife, should we make some introductions with our men?"

"No need."

Jayden, cigar clenched between his teeth, lifted a document from the desk and strolled over to the window.

The wheelchair was tucked away in a corner of the room, ignored, as he moved fluidly across the floor.

This document detailed Elyse's entire life, from her childhood through to her college life, even including her romance with Theo.

He casually flipped through the pages and drawled, "An ordinary woman. She married me just for my money."

Back then, the Owens had declared their search for a wife for Jayden, aiming simply to secure an heir.

Upon the announcement, no wealthy family was eager to marry their daughter to him, except for the Fosters, who had enriched themselves through their daughters' marriage.

The Fosters' motive was straightforward--to exchange their daughter for resources and money.

Vinny saw no other reason for Elyse to marry Jayden but for financial gain.

Yet, there was another twist. "She was originally going to marry Theo Ward."

"Ward? The Ward family that's well-known?" Jayden lifted an eyebrow.

"Yes. But apparently, the groom ran off to reunite with his ex-girlfriend after receiving a phone call."

Vinny paused, then speculated, "Maybe she married you just to spite Theo Ward."

Jayden ceased perusing the documents and glanced up at Vinny with a hint of annoyance. "You're looking at it too simplistically. By marrying me, she stands to gain more. That's the real reason she married me, despite my disability."

In Jayden's eyes, Elyse hadn't yet revealed her true intentions. But he didn't mind her interest in his money.

He needed a wife to appease his family. If she married him for gain, it would make a future divorce simpler for him.

--

Perched on the edge of the bed, Elysee scrolled through her phone and noticed the trending topics.

#Bridegroom Ran Away For His Ex

#Bride Marries Stranger To Anger Her Ranaway Groom

She casually scrolled through the comments. The public deemed the entire situation unbelievable and both parties' actions as unreasonable. Nevertheless, discussions had thrust Elyse's name into circulation because of it.

Some even discovered she was a violinist in an orchestra and stumbled upon a video of her past performance.

Unable to resist, Elyse was watching these videos when Theo called. "Where are you, Elyse? Let's meet and talk."

Chapter 4 Who Were You Married To?
As Elyse descended the stairs to the villa's entrance, Driscoll approached her with concern. "It's quite late. Where are you off to? Shall I arrange a car for you?"

"No, thanks. I'll be back soon."

Driscoll watched her depart before heading to the study.

Elyse, having agreed to meet Theo, called a taxi and was soon en route.

Fifteen minutes later, she entered a coffee shop and instantly noticed Theo, who was in high spirits, busy texting on his phone. A flicker of sarcasm crossed her eyes as she approached and sat across from him.

Theo looked up, his expression souring. "Why are you so late? Do you have any idea how long I've been waiting?"

Staring back at him, Elyse felt a chill. They had been together for a long time, yet he was always domineering toward her, a stark contrast to his demeanor with Kaelyn.

She had once loved him, believing she could endure anything. Only today had she realized how foolish that was.

If she didn't love herself, how could she expect anyone else to love her?

"If you don't want to wait, you can leave," Elyse retorted icily.

Theo, taken aback by her response, grew visibly more upset. "You're holding a grudge about what happened at the wedding, aren't you? I get why you're upset, but you can't be more understanding and reasonable? I left because Kaelyn was in dire straits--she was depressed and contemplating suicide."

"You can go to anyone you want. You don't need to explain anything to me--I don't care anymore." Elyse found humor in his words.

Theo couldn't believe she was indifferent. They had been together for three years, and everyone knew how deeply she loved him.

He thought her claim of indifference was merely a result of anger. But he was confident he could easily resolve this. Just a few sweet words and she'd come back to him.

"It's not a big deal. I came back to you after handling everything, didn't I? I'll visit your parents soon, and we can start planning the wedding again," Theo said.

"No need for that."

"What?"

"There won't be a wedding." Elyse's face was devoid of emotion. "We're done."

"Why are you still upset? I left at the wedding, but I came back for you. Can't you forgive me?" Theo frowned.

"Forgive you? Forgive you for abandoning me for another woman?" Elyse slammed her hand on the table. "Do you have any idea what I've been through since you left? Your family has been calling me names, even though you were the one who left me at the altar--just for another woman!"

"Elyse Lloyd!" Theo shouted her name furiously. "What others say is their issue. Isn't our three-year relationship strong enough for you to trust me?"

"Three years, and yet you never forgot your ex," Elyse countered, her face marked by disappointment. "I believed we'd be together forever, but it seems three years was our limit. We're done, Theo. It's clear we're not suited for each other."

While speaking, she retrieved a ring from her bag and set it down on the table--the same ring he had used to propose.

She recalled the joy she felt that day, now overshadowed by her current despair.

Elyse gave Theo one last look, mentally closing the chapter on their three years together. She grabbed her bag and departed without a backward glance.

Theo was stunned. Was Elyse dumping him? He always saw her as a simp, her family reliant on his. How could she just walk away?

Humiliated, he chased after her, grabbed her shoulder, and said forcefully, "You have no right to break things off! Remember, your father's business relies on me. Without me, your family has nothing. Come back, and we'll marry in a few days to make up for today!"

"Let me go!" Elyse fought back fiercely and yelled with defiance and frustration, "I'm married. Stop bothering me!"

"So what if you are married! You will always belong to me."

After blurting that out, he froze and asked incredulously, "What did you say? You're married? Who to?"

While he was momentarily dazed, Elyse wriggled free from his grip. She hadn't anticipated turning around to find Jayden sitting in a wheelchair quietly a few meters behind her. "Jayden!" she exclaimed.

Chapter 5 You Can Stand?
"Didn't I make it clear? I'm married. We're over. This is my husband," Elyse said as she quickly moved to Jayden's side, gripping his arm.

Theo stared at Jayden, failing to recognize him. With a sneer, he said, "To get back at me, you married a disabled man?" He then extended his hand, commanding in a domineering tone, "Elyse, come here! I'll make it up to you when we get back."

But Elyse looked at him as if he were a stranger.

"Did you hear me? Come here!" Theo grew frustrated.

Elyse reflected on how she would have responded in the past--she would definitely walk over to his side.

She had loved him deeply for three years. Her feelings had been genuine. Yet, the depth of her affection made the betrayal harder to bear.

On her first birthday after they got together, she wanted to celebrate it by the sea. To make her happy, Theo bought a camera, promising to capture beautiful photos of her. As they were about to board the plane for their trip to the seaside, Kaelyn was injured on a film set and called Theo. Without any hesitation, Theo left her stranded at the airport. It was the most disappointing birthday Elyse had ever experienced.

Theo had once vowed to attend her debut performance with her orchestra, yet she ended up not seeing him there. She lingered in the hall all night, only to learn the next day that he had missed the performance because Kaelyn had become drunk at a dinner party while trying to land a role. He stayed because he was worried she might be taken advantage of.

For three years, he had been Kaelyn's protector, but he had never offered Elyse the same safeguard.

This accumulation of disappointments came to a head at the wedding. She knew she deserved love and respect, not neglect.

"I am Jayden's wife now. I owe my loyalty to him," declared Elyse with a chill in her voice.

"Elyse Lloyd!" Theo roared, enraged. He thought Elyse was merely being spiteful and fabricating things due to the day's incidents.

As he tried to seize her hand, Jayden intervened, blocking him swiftly.

Theo struggled to free his hand, but was unable to. He couldn't overpower a disabled man? The realization pissedhim off.

"Release me!" Theo exploded with anger.

"She has no desire to leave with you. Can't you understand?" Jayden pressed slowly, his force causing Theo's features to twist in distress.

Jayden held on until Theo cried out in pain before releasing him.

"Remember this day, Elyse. You'll regret it in the future!" With a hint of embarrassment, Theo glared at Elyse and stormed off after his declaration.

Watching him leave, Elyse felt a bitter smile form within her. She knew Theo would not easily let go of being humiliated, but there was no turning back for them now.

"Let's go home, Elyse."

"Okay."

After helping Jayden into the car, they both sat silently, gazing out the window and avoiding any mention of Theo.

"How did you know I was out here?" Elyse asked, her curiosity piqued.

Without turning to face her, Jayden replied, "Driscoll mentioned it wasn't safe for you to be alone at this hour, so I came to pick you up."

In truth, he had suspected she was up to something secretive, but it turned out she was merely meeting her ex. This revelation left him slightly disappointed.

"Since you've married me, you should sever ties with your ex. My family members are strict, and I can't cover for you if they find out you're still seeing another man."

"I won't see him again. I met him just to return a ring," Elyse responded, nodding.

Jayden said nothing more. As long as Elyse respected his boundaries, she was free to make her own choices.

When they arrived home, Elyse noticed Jayden heading straight for the study again. Curious, she asked Driscoll, "Why is he always in the study?"

"The study is not only his workplace, but it has also become a sanctuary for his soul," Driscoll explained.

"And why doesn't he return to his room?"

"He does sometimes, but we rarely know when. He prefers that we don't fuss over him too much."

With that, Driscoll departed. After freshening up in her room, Elyse was preparing for bed, but her thoughts lingered on the day's events with Jayden. She realized that despite his reserved nature, he was genuinely concerned for her safety.

Feeling grateful and wanting to express her thanks, she left her room and walked towards the study. As she approached, she noticed the door was slightly ajar, casting a sliver of light into the hallway.

Elyse pushed the door open and to her surprise, saw Jayden standing. She gasped and asked, "Jayden, you can stand?"

====
"You need a bride, I need a groom. Why don't we get married?" Both abandoned at the altar, Elyse decided to tie the knot with the disabled stranger from the venue next door.

Pitying his state, she vowed to spoil him once they were married. Little did she know that he was actually a powerful and healthy tycoon.

Was Jayden's fake disability revealed just like that? No 2024-05-17 19:31 active 805 0 958654719133607 How To Make Big Paydays With Land Deals In 2024 Wholesaling will not set you financially free, and if you’ve been doing this for a while now or you’re a few deals in… I think you know that. Look, I don’t care how anyone slices it… It’s a business model where you are ripping someone off one way or another: Whether that’s people going through foreclosures, vulnerable low-income households, the elderly, or people who just don't know the true value of their property because they’re uneducated… It just doesn’t sit right. And maybe it’s just me, but it’s not the type of work I’d wanna stamp my legacy onto. Not to mention, it’s simply not enough to fix and flip, rehab, or wholesale anymore… Unless of course you’re fine pouring ALL of your time, money, and energy into cranking out deal after deal just to make low returns that barely move the needle. But if you’re not fine with that, if you would rather make 3X the amount of money in half the time AND you don’t have to scam any grandmas or down-bad families in the process… Click the link below. I put together a free training to show people exactly how I’ve been tapping into raw land deals for the last 20 years, collecting 6 to 7-figure paychecks per deal at a time. And you never have to own the land, put a shovel in the ground, more or less get a permit. https://land.vestright.com/vsl-prospecting LEARN_MORE https://land.vestright.com/vsl-prospecting 1918477891613374 Cody Bjugan https://facebook.com/Codybjugan 9,588 2 879,631,733,892,607 2024-05-17 02:00 person_profile eligible 0 0 NONE 0 0 1 0 Learn More 0 Cody Bjugan 6624023559988 land.vestright.com NONE dco {{product.description}} https://land.vestright.com/vsl-prospecting 2024-05-17 08:21 https://scontent-lga3-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/441572218_780407167404690_5901451361470001691_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_s60x60&_nc_cat=105&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=ODnNGQL8VEsQ7kNvgG3fDmx&_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-2.xx&oh=00_AYBsb2AtxWfnZTdahqDkXQe55d98cMrdNEfpUThnRyueQg&oe=664DAFBB person_profile 0 Cody Bjugan https://scontent-lga3-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/441658503_1431988940762737_7080030606861094534_n.jpg?_nc_cat=100&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=tlwrPMj2aokQ7kNvgHLJARW&_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-2.xx&oh=00_AYAhF6Go0SFjEnVf3IB3nq6MPRFHHj9_ns2Q73bf4y7TaA&oe=664DB5C9 0 3 Cody Bjugan 0 0 2024-05-17 02:00 View Edit

Yes 2024-05-17 19:30 active 805 0 1560189737869018 ❤️😍What happens next👉Click Here to read on👉 This is the seventh time I've called my husband, Caleb, and as usual, he hasn't answered. No exceptions, although it's our two-year anniversary. I didn’t have a wolf. That’s why I had to call my husband on the phone like a human. Then I could only try shooting him a text: Hi Caleb. I know you’re busy. Just wanted to confirm when you’d be home tonight? I made your favorite steaks ^^ “Why don’t you just mindlink him? Oh right, I forgot. You don’t have a wolf.” My omega maid giggled and rolled her eyes. It’s Alice. I ignored her. She was just making fun of me again. “Steaks?” she asked, rolling her eyes at the thawing meat on the counter. “Why do you even bother? Alpha Caleb hates your cooking. This is just a waste of food.” “That’s not true,” I told her, lifting my chin. “Caleb loves steak.” I know he did comment on my cooking sometimes, but being the Alpha was super stressful! I couldn’t blame him for being a bit grumpy when he came home after a long day. Alice looked me up and down, her fox-like eyes full of disdain and mockery. She hated me, and she didn’t even try to hide it anymore. “Stop wasting your time on stupid phone calls,” she said, dumping a basket of clothes at my feet. “Make yourself useful. You're Luna and you have nothing to give to this pack. No wolf. No kids. The least you could do is help with the laundry.” She brushed past me then, deliberately bumping into my shoulder. No wolf. No kids. The words stung. I bit my lip. She was right, I was wolfless. But I didn’t want to be! I wanted more than anything to be a good Luna for Caleb, for our pack. “Fold that laundry. I have other things to take care of.” She walked out of the kitchen in a huff. I quickly checked my phone again. Still no response. I decided to proceed with dinner anyway. He’d be home soon enough, I told myself. And then we’d have a nice dinner together. But when I got to the counter, I noticed that my gemstone ring was gone. I had taken it off to wash the vegetables and placed it on the windowsill. I turned around in a panic. Did she…did she take it? Omega Alice? She’d already stolen my sapphire necklace. Of course, she wouldn’t admit it. I had asked her about it when I saw her wearing it. “This?” she’d asked, fingering the necklace around her neck. “Alpha Caleb gave it to me as a gift. I didn’t steal anything.” She looked so innocent at that time. Maybe I was confused? Maybe Caleb had given it to her? So I had asked Caleb. “It’s just a necklace,” he snapped. “You can’t wear it anyway. You don’t even have a decent dress to go with it.” He had been really tired that day. I tried to explain that maybe it was a misunderstanding? I loved the necklace and just wanted it back. “This is ridiculous. I don’t have time for this drama. Stop the nonsense, Eden.” Then he had shoved past me and left without another word. So I let it go. He was right, it was just a necklace. But now my ring was missing too. I laid the vegetables out in the roasting pan and then went back to the table. Still no response from Caleb, so I started sorting his laundry. But as I picked up his dress jacket, I felt something inside the pocket. I reached in and saw a beautiful invitation. It was addressed to Alpha Caleb and myself. It was an invitation to a banquet! To honor the return of the Lycan King! The Lycan King? He had returned? He’d been gone for almost 100 years! This was a serious event! I scanned the invitation for more details. My eyes flew open in shock when I read the date. 7pm. November 1st. That was tonight! But how could that be? Caleb hadn’t mentioned anything about a banquet, which was odd, since this was the first formal invitation he’d received since taking over the pack. How could he forget to tell me? I glanced at the clock. It was ten past six! I had to get ready fast! Maybe that’s why he wasn’t answering his phone – he was busy preparing for the big event. I’m sure he meant to tell me. It probably just slipped his mind. Caleb can be sort of forgetful sometimes. I ran upstairs to get dressed. He couldn’t attend the banquet without me! That was against our rules: Alphas must attend all events with their Lunas. If an Alpha went to an event without a Luna, it could be seen as a sign of internal pack issues. That was the last thing I wanted for Caleb! I had to get ready fast and meet him there! I pulled on a blue silk dress and piled my brown, curly hair on top of my head. I quickly put on some pink lipstick and mascara. I hummed happily as I got ready. The Lycan King was back! This was going to be a very exciting night! Caleb and I could celebrate our anniversary tomorrow. This was his first official event as the new Alpha of our pack. And I would be right there with him, on his arm, as his loving Luna. I arrived at the venue. There was a gorgeous outdoor area set up decorated with string lights that shone under the moon’s soft glow. Beside this area was a massive tent, heavily guarded by two strong warriors. The banquet was inside the tent. People were already gathered, and I recognized several Lunas and Alphas from other packs in the area. The air buzzed with excitement, as people discussed, in hushed reverence, the return of Zane, the Lycan King. I scanned the crowd, looking for Caleb but I couldn’t find him. Strange, I thought to myself. Maybe he’s just not here yet. To my left, there was a throng of people. I looked more closely. There was a tall and regal-looking figure standing in the center, with his back turned. He was dressed in elegant fur robes and two warriors stood on either side of him. I could feel his strong aura, even though I was quite far from him. I knew immediately that it was him, the guest of honor, the revered Lycan King. My breath caught in my throat. He was rumored to be one of the strongest, the most intelligent, most handsome Kings of all time. I stood, fixed in my spot, admiring him from a distance. And he was just about to turn around so I could see his face when something caught my eye. Someone’s necklace flashed in the light. I turned and saw Caleb. My Caleb! There he was. He was smartly dressed in one of my favorite suits, navy with a matching silk navy tie. I lifted my hand to wave to him, but I stopped it in mid-air. There was another woman on his arm. She was elegantly dressed, in a long, flowing gown. Her necklace flashed in the light again. She was beautiful. And she was laughing happily with Caleb. If I didn’t know better, I’d say they looked like a couple. But…why would he? And then I saw who it was—— Scarlett. My half-sister. And Caleb’s first love. Chapter 2: Betrayal Eden’s POV Scarlett? But how could that be? She’d been gone for two years now. I squinted to make sure my eyes weren’t deceiving me. They weren’t. It was her, all right. Anxiety washed over me. Questions swarmed in my head. What was going on? When had she come back? And why was she with Caleb? I stood, stunned, able to move. A knot grew in my stomach. It twisted and turned inside me. I had a very bad feeling about this. I shook my head. No. I was just overreacting. There had to be a logical explanation. All I had to do was talk to them. They would explain everything. My half-sister would never… But before I could ask them any questions, they sauntered over to the banquet entrance. They breezed through the security check and disappeared into the banquet tent. I weaved my way through the crowd to the entrance of the tent. Two warriors stopped me. “Name?” they asked, blocking my entrance. It was standard protocol, for security. I peeked around the large guards and saw Caleb and Scarlett taking a seat at the banquet inside. “Luna Eden,” I said hurriedly to the guards. Caleb tucked a strand of Scarlett’s hair behind her ear. She blushed and giggled. My stomach turned. ‘There’s a logical explanation,’ I reassured myself. “LUNA Eden?” one of the guards asked, raising his eyebrows. “From which pack?” “Sequoia Pack,” I told him. What was the hold up? I had to get inside. “I don’t think so,” he responded, laughing. “What do you mean?” I asked him. “I’m Luna Eden, mate of Alpha Caleb of the Sequoia Pack.” I didn’t understand why they were laughing, but their laughter was causing other people to look my way. I shrunk back, embarrassed by the scene. “The Alpha and Luna from Sequoia have already entered the banquet.” His voice was loud, drawing even more attention from everyone around. I shook my head in disbelief. “No, that’s not right,” I stammered. What was he saying? I shook my head in disbelief. People were starting to whisper. Inside, Caleb and Scarlett were sipping on champagne. She rubbed a drop of champagne from his chin with her thumb. “Nice try,” the guard smirked. “Men, escort this imposter out of here.” He gave the command and two strong warriors came forward. “Wait,” I muttered, confused and overwhelmed. “But I am Luna. There’s been some sort of mistake,” I said. “Luna? You don’t even have a wolf!” the guard said, mocking me. People around me giggled and pointed. “You expect us to believe you’re a Luna?” The warriors grabbed me by my arms and started dragging me away. There was no point in arguing. My cheeks flushed from embarrassment. Outside the venu, they shoved me and I fell to my knees, disoriented and confused. “And don’t even think about coming back,” a warrior said, shaking his finger. What had just happened? I’d been tossed out of the event! I stood up, brushed off my knees, and walked back to my packhouse, my head hung low in shame. Back in my bedroom, I waited for Caleb to come home. The image of him and Scarlett swirled through my mind, haunting me. There had to be an explanation, I thought, looking out the window for Caleb. When it was well past midnight and took a deep breath and phoned him. This time, he picked up. “Caleb, I need to talk to you,” I said softly. “I was thrown out of the banquet. I….” but his sharp words cut me off. “I’m at the hospital. I won’t be coming home tonight.” Click. He hung up. The hospital? Was he hurt? Had there been some sort of accident at the banquet? I had to be with him. That was the only thought that raced through my mind as I ran through the night in a frenzy. I arrived at the hospital out of breath. Where was he? I walked quickly down the corridor, peeking into rooms, my heart pounding in my ribcage. Half way down, I heard his voice. I stopped at the doorway. But before I went in, I heard another voice. A woman’s giggle. I knew that voice. But it couldn’t be. Frightened at what I might see, I peeked around the corner of the door. Sure enough, Scarlett was on the hospital bed. Caleb was perched on the bed beside her, affectionately dabbing her forehead with a damp washcloth. I snapped my head back and stood against the wall. They hadn’t seen me. I listened. Even though I lacked a wolf, I still had really sharp hearing. Their words filtered through the doorway, and my heart shattered into a million pieces. “I had to marry her,” Caleb said. “I was preparing to take over the pack, but you know the rules. A werewolf Alpha must be married to take over the pack. For the pack’s stability. The pack needs both a Luna and an Alpha to manage the pack jointly. What was I supposed to do?” “You could have waited for me, my love,” Scarlett replied. My love? Tears welled in my eyes. I didn’t want to hear this, but I couldn’t stop listening. “Scarlett, you disappeared!” Caleb’s voice was so soft and tender. “Without any warning. You just vanished. I NEVER would have married Eden if you hadn’t left. You must know that.” I tried to blink back the tears, but they spilled out. I began to shake. NEVER would have married me? And just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, it did. “Well, Eden is useless.” Scarlett’s tone was mocking. “She doesn’t even have a wolf? How is she supposed to carry an heir for you?” Her words were like daggers to my heart. I’ve always been so ashamed of not having a wolf. Hearing her mock me for it, my own half-sister, it stung worse than a thousand bee stings. However, her next words made my stomach sink. Chapter 3: Rejection Eden’s POV “You can end the marriage now. I’m back,” Scarlett said. “And unlike her, I have my wolf. A strong one. I’ll give you children, Caleb. Lots of little wolf pups. True heirs. Unless you want her to have your children.” “As if I would ever let Eden have MY children!” Caleb scoffed. “She’s the daughter of a traitor! I can’t let a traitor’s daughter give birth to my bloodline!” Scarlett giggled at his cruel words, and I was shocked. He was my husband! How could he be so cruel? He smeared my mom's name, calling her a traitor! I had to stop them! I didn’t want to hear any more of this. But just as I was about to rush out, I heard their continued conversation. “So, dear, why did you suddenly leave me?” Caleb coaxed. His voice was so gentle. He never talked to me that way. “It's okay, darling. You can tell me.” “I was poisoned by wolfsbane. It was awful, pure torture. I wasn’t even conscious! My parents sent me to the Solace Pack since they’re the strongest pack in werewolf medical treatment. I suffered for so long.” I could hear her sobbing all the way through the door. “It was months before I regained consciousness, and when I did, well, I heard that you had married Eden.” “Who did this to you?” Caleb asked, anger in his voice. “My maid told me it was Eden. She was jealous of our love and wanted to be Luna, so she poisoned me.” What? I gasped in shock. I did no such thing. I would NEVER poison someone, let alone my own half-sister. “I didn't poison you!” I couldn't help but rush in and retorted. They were both shocked to see me. They exchanged glances as if to say 'how much did she hear?' So, I made it clear. “I heard everything,” I said, lifting my chin. I thought they would be embarrassed by this, but they looked at me with indignation. I realized then - they were planning to be together and they didn’t even care if I knew about their affair. “Don't act innocent anymore, Eden,” Scarlett said, reaching for Caleb's hand. “If it weren't for you poisoning me two years ago, I wouldn't have collapsed at the banquet today. Wolfsbane messed up my body, and you stole my love! Today, I'm gonna uncover your scheme and make sure you can't fool Caleb anymore!” “No! You're the one fool Caleb! I—” I struggled to defend myself, but when I saw Caleb tightly holding Scarlett's shoulders, looking at me with indifference, it felt like my heart was being squeezed by an invisible hand. Tears welled up unexpectedly. “Your mom was a traitor, and you've got her blood, you're born to trick!” Scarlett seemed pleased with my tears, her smug expression and sharp accusations stabbing at me. Anger rose in me. How dare she say those things. Before I knew what I was doing, I lunged at Scarlett and slapped her hard across the face. Scarlett gasped, covering her cheek. Her body swayed slightly, as if she might fall. Caleb quickly caught her waist. So romantic. But it pained me so much. Tears flooded out like a broken dam. Suddenly, Caleb grabbed me by my throat. His hands were strong and I gasped for air. He forced me to my knees. “Apologize,” he said. It was the Alpha's command, and I couldn't defy it. “I-I'm sorry.” I reluctantly stuttered, unsure of which hurt more, my heart or my neck. As he released me, I persisted in clearing my mother's and my name, “My mother isn't a traitor, and I haven't lied to you, Caleb. I didn't poison anyone!” “Your hitting me in front of Caleb is the best proof. You've been faking it all along,” Scarlett interrupted, snuggling closer to Caleb, coaxing him, “How can such a morally flawed she-wolf become your Luna, Caleb.” “No! Caleb, we've been together for two years, as your Luna—” “Not anymore,” Caleb said coldly. What? A bad feeling spread in my heart. Caleb looked at me disdainfully. His voice carried obvious anger and dissatisfaction, “Scarlett's right. If it weren't for your family, I'd never marry a wolfless girl like you. Such a malicious she-wolf doesn't deserve to be the Luna of my Pack!” There's no greater pain than being misunderstood by the one you love. I froze, my mind went blank, feeling ice-cold all over. No, please don't say that, don't. But Caleb had already made up his mind. He towered over me and said: “I, Caleb, Alpha of the Sequoia Pack, reject you Eden, as my Luna.” “No! Caleb, please, don’t do this,” I begged him on my knees. He looked down at me, with disgust in his eyes. “A werewolf without a wolf is a shame to the pack. I’m declaring you exiled!” Caleb added to my punishment, using his usual cold tone towards me. My heart shattered completely. Tears blurred my vision, and I could hardly see anything. “Please, no,” I begged. “Warriors!” he roared impatiently. In an instant, several burly barged in, ignoring my struggles and cries as they dragged me out of the pack hospital. Just as Scarlett and Caleb were about to vanish from my sight, I saw they kissed. “No!—” I desperately grabbed onto the warriors’ sleeves as they dragged me towards the pack border, trying to escape the impending fate. But they callously tossed me beyond the pack's boundaries. “Shut up,” one of the warriors snapped at me, their fierce gaze making me flinch. “You’re expelled, Eden, by the Alpha’s command. Never step foot inside our pack's boundary again, or we'll eliminate you on sight,” the leader of the warriors declared coldly, his words dripping with threat. I watched them march away, wiping the dirt off my face. Then I stood up, on shaky legs. It was nighttime and the forest was dark. I no longer had the pack’s protection. I was a helpless rogue, vulnerable to anything and anyone. I cautiously stepped into the forest, wary of every shadow and sound. This was rogue territory, a realm where darkness and violence reigned supreme. As a fragile soul without the protection of a pack, every moment here felt perilous. The moon cast its silvery glow through the tangled branches above, illuminating my path as I leaned against a sturdy tree. A chill wind swept through the air, sending shivers down my spine and prickling my skin with fear. This, undoubtedly, was the darkest day of my existence — abandoned by my husband, betrayed by my half-sister, and cast out by my pack. Tears welled up in my eyes, but I dared not let them fall. To display vulnerability in this unforgiving forest of crisis was to invite danger. Mom... How different would my life be if you were still with me? Would I still have the strength to clear your name from shame? “Just survive the night,” I told myself. A branch snapped and I held my breath. I know many rogues roamed this forest, and they wouldn’t hesitate to kidnap me…or worse. Suddenly, a howl broke through my thoughts. It ripped through the air. It was the most terrifying, wildest, loudest howl I had ever heard in my life. It was a wolf’s howl. Scared, I quickly looked around. That’s when I saw it. Two eyes, shining in the night. Wolf eyes. And they were locked on me. Chapter 4: The Black Wolf Eden’s POV The wolf approached me slowly. As I saw him clearly, my whole body trembled. He was bigger than any wolf I’d ever seen: stronger, with muscles that bulged under his thick, black, shiny fur that blended in with the darkness of the night. Everything inside me screamed ‘run’! I tried to, but the wolf followed. He was agile and swift, and his shiny fur gave him an air of regality as it fluttered in the wind. With lightning speed, he lunged at me. I didn't dare look back again, but I could sense his presence; he was right behind me, gaining ground. I dodged under branches, my heart pounding. But then suddenly, thud— The wolf pinned me to the ground with only its right paw. My cheek pressed against the earth, and I panted heavily. Was this the end? Despair washed over me. He rolled me over and pressed my arms over my head. He stared at me with an intense gaze. I could feel his heart pounding against his ribcage. “Open your eyes,” he commanded, his voice majestic. Trembling, I obeyed, and I was instantly mesmerized by his rugged beauty. I'd never seen such a handsome wolf before. His powerful frame, his sleek fur, his dangerous yet captivating eyes...it all felt oddly familiar. As his gaze roamed my face, fear prickled down my neck. No! I couldn't be fooled by this illusion. I was in danger. I tried to move, but he was too strong. He held me firmly to the ground. Suddenly, he leaned down close to me. My breath hitched in my throat. His nose twitched around my cheek, sniffing my scent. But I don’t have a wolf, so I don't have a scent. I was sure he would soon realize that I was wolfless and devour me without hesitation. Tears spilled from my eyes, streaming down my face. I closed them shut and memories flashing through my mind. Would Caleb mourn my death? Scarlett would be happy about it, no doubt. So would Alice and all the other omega maids...Did anyone in this world truly love me? My mother had…But now I couldn’t clear her name. I felt wetness on my cheek and I realized the black wolf was licking me. Perhaps this was his habit: to taste his prey before devouring it. Death was approaching. It was real; I could feel it, and I was full of regret. My life has been so short and pathetic. I hadn’t done anything for myself or my mother. If only I could have another chance... Moon Goddess, help me, please give me another chance... Let me clear my mother's name…live a braver life… “I finally found you, Cookie,” the black wolf suddenly growled softly. What? Was it speaking to me? Trembling, I opened my eyes. “Relax,” he said, resting his head on my collarbone. And despite the danger I was in, there was something about his scent that seemed strangely soothing, somehow comforting. His growls calmed down as he seemed to settle in, comfortably, with his head nestled into my neck. ‘Is this my chance?’ I wondered. ‘Is he…is he sleeping?’ But as soon as I made the slightest move, he lifted his head. “Don’t move,” he said. “I am injured, yes. But even so, you’d never get away. I’d catch you in a heartbeat.” It was then that I smelled the blood. I looked down and saw a gaping wound on one of his hind legs. It looked horrific. Well, at least it did to me. But it probably wasn’t that bad. He was a wolf, after all, so the wound was likely already healing. I nodded and he nuzzled his head back into my neck. He made soft sounds, contented sounds, as he fell into a deep sleep. How odd, I thought to myself, that he would just fall asleep like this, on me. I waited for what felt like an eternity before I tried to move again. It was my chance to escape. Despite my confusion at his enigmatic words, I knew I had to get out of there. I didn’t have a wolf, but even so, my survival instincts kicked in. He was sleeping so if I could just carefully, slowly, work my way out from under him, maybe I had a chance. I began the laborious process of sliding out from under him. A couple of times, he stirred and I froze, sure that I had woken the sleeping black wolf. But each time, he smacked his lips and resumed his soft snoring. Eventually, I managed to free myself without waking him. I stood over him for a moment, watching him sleep, this mysterious but dangerous wolf. I couldn’t help but feel a bit sorry for him, because of his leg. I stood over him, watching him sleep. Was I truly free? It felt surreal. In the darkness, I was overwhelmed by a sense of abandonment and sadness. Then, a sudden gust of wind swept through and cleared the branches, allowing the moonlight to filter through. I gazed at the distant moon, captivated by its mystery and beauty. Moon Goddess, are you trying to teach me? —— I had endured betrayal, abandonment, and had even faced my own death in a single day, but I was still standing. I embraced the gentle breeze and the mesmerizing moonlight. Life's tougher than we think. My mom always said that. She’d defended our pack's borders against countless rogues, earning admiration as the most powerful Gamma. But when she didn't return from battle, Scarlett's mother accused her of betraying the pack. And everyone believed it! It was absolutely insane! I knew how fiercely loyal my mom was to our pack. As the wind settled down and darkness returned, everything felt different. This time, I was going to clear my mother’s name, no matter what. It was time for me to go. But just as I was about to leave, the black wolf stirred. I looked at his wound, his fur matted with blood. I felt a twinge of sympathy for the strange wolf. I bent down and stroked his head, softly. “Heal quickly, strange wolf,” I whispered. But then I heard something, and every hair on my body stood on end. I froze on the spot, too scared to even glance behind me. Even though I didn't have a wolf, I knew in my gut that something was closing in on me. I glanced at the sleeping black wolf. Could it be his companion? There was no time to ponder, though. I swallowed my fear and bolted forward. “Oops! Exposed!” A sinister laugh echoed from afar. Chapter 5: Caught Eden’s POV In the dark forest, danger never ceased. It attracted the very worst of the worst, cruel rogues with no morals. I needed to get out of this forest, to find somewhere safe. But even as careful as I was, the rogues lurked everywhere. I soon came face to face with two rogues. “See?” one of them said, clucking his tongue. “Told you she was pretty.” They both lifted their noses into the air. “I'm the Luna of the Sequoia Pack,” I said, trying to steady my trembling legs and intimidate them. “If you lay a finger on me, the Sequoia Pack will come down hard on you.” “You? Hahaha...” the other burst into laughter. “You don't even have a wolf.” They knew I didn't have a wolf! Of course they did. I was foolish to believe otherwise. Any werewolf could feel it. “What kind of Alpha would want a Luna without a wolf? Pathetic,” one chimed in, joining the laughter. “If the Alpha of the Sequoia Pack found out you were damaging his reputation, he'd waste no time eliminating you.” Eliminating me? His words hit me like a ton of bricks. He was right. Caleb wouldn't lift a finger to help me. In fact, he probably wanted me dead more than anyone else. He banished me from the pack afterall. That was pretty much a death sentence. Sadness washed over me once again. “Now, get her!” the other commanded, moving towards me. They lunged at me but I kicked back. The other one tried to grab me, but I punched him in the face. I had just escaped a dangerous wolf! There was no way I was letting these rogues take me. I fought as hard as I could, but they were stronger than me. Eventually, one grabbed me from behind. He placed a knife at my throat. “Got you! Naughty girl.” With the knife at my throat, I had no choice. I stopped struggling as they tied my hands. “What…what are you going to do with me?” I feared the answer. Rape? Murder? Rape then murder? I shuddered. They smelled disgusting, like sweat and rotten meat. “Easy, we’re going to sell you.” I turned my head from his rank breath. “At the auction house.” Sell me? Well, that couldn’t be worse than death, could it? How wrong I was. *** The auction house was in an old warehouse. They brought me in and lined me up with the other omegas. “Where are we?” I whispered to an omega beside me. “Flooders. It’s a well known auction site. They specialize in…in providing ‘playthings’ and ‘breeders’ for powerful Alphas. If you know what I mean.” I didn’t, not exactly. But I caught the gist of it. A suffocating feeling washed over me; I was unable to control my own destiny. My nose tingled with the onset of tears. Just then, a man entered the room. He looked us over, one at a time. “This one here,” he said, pointing at me. “She’s pretty. But she doesn’t have a wolf. You won’t get much for her.” The two men that had brought me in were clearly disappointed. “What if we clean her up a bit? Make her more presentable?” He eyed me again and grabbed me by the chin. “Sure. Ansaldo might take her.” Then he walked away. “Ansaldo,” I hissed at the girl beside me. “Who’s that?” “Alpha Ansaldo? He buys beautiful women. He comes here often. Rumor has it, he’s really depraved. Cruel. Sick and twisted. Treating girls as toys.” Being wolfless, I'd faced judgment since I was young. However, since I was from an Alpha family, most pack members didn't openly show their disdain, except for Alice. For the most part, they just ignored me. Looking back, that was probably the best treatment I could hope for. “Look, I’m going to be straight with you,” the girl said. “You don’t have a wolf. No one will buy you for breeding. Alpha Ansaldo’s really your only option. He’s really rich so the traders all try to find beautiful girls for him. You’re pretty, that’s your fate.” At this moment, fear filled my heart. “Shut up,” a voice snapped at us. Two women stepped forward. “I am Missy and this is Kate. We’re bringing you to the bathing rooms now. Follow us. No talking.” The girl beside me cautioned me with her eyes. Her look said, ‘Listen to them.’ We were led into a massive bathroom. “Wash yourself. You’re filthy,” the one name Missy snapped at me. She forced my head under the scalding hot water. “We’re going to clean you up. Then we’re going to teach you how to be submissive. Got it?” The water stung my skin. I pushed back against her. I couldn’t shake off those words about Alpha Ansaldo. They were too frightening. No way! I wasn’t going to let them ‘clean me up’ to sell me to that sick, twisted Alpha Ansaldo. “NO,” I mustered up the courage to protest. I said firmly. The girl I had been talking to sighed deeply and shook her head. But before I could wonder why, Missy punched me hard in the face. “NO?” Missy punched me hard in the face. “You think you’re better than us, you wolfless girl! You’ll do as I say. I’ll show you who’s in charge.” Kate kicked me in the stomach. I keeled over, clutching at my stomach, while blood gushed from my nose. But then, just when I thought I couldn’t take anymore, a man burst into the bathroom. “Everyone stop immediately,” he barked. “The Lycan King has closed off this area. His warriors have taken over. We’ve been instructed to take all the omega girls to the square.” The Lycan King, I thought to myself. I could see the fear on the man’s face. The Lycan King was the ONLY person who had any real power over rogues. His power stems from his lineage and the fear he instills is unconscious. The rogues were free, but they fear him, so although he doesn’t directly manage them, in the same way an Alpha manages pack members, rogues will do whatever he tells them to do. This is an unwritten werewolf rule but since the Lycan King had been missing for 100 years, no one had ever seen the rule in action. Until now. “The Lycan King?” Missy asked, her eyes wide with fear and awe. “But he’s a legend.” “He disappeared,” Kate added. “Does this mean he’s back?” “Yes,” the man confirmed. “I had heard a rumor that he attended an Alpha’s banquet a few days ago. I thought it was a rumor. Apparently, I was wrong. He’s back.” “Does this mean…” Kate asked, nervously. “Is he going to take over our warehouse?” “No,” the man said. “He wants us to bring all the girls to the square. Apparently the Lycan King is looking for an omega.” Chapter 6: Legends Are True Eden’s POV My cell door swung open. “Put this on,” Kate hissed at me. “It’s time for auction, you filthy troublemaker.” I’ve been locked up in this cell for a few days now. Kate threw me in here. She said since I don’t have a wolf, and I’m not even an omega, the Lycan King wouldn’t want me. So they didn’t take me to the square. They’ve given me barely any food and water, but at least my bruises have healed, more or less. I fingered the beautiful silk gown. I put on the dress and she came back. She brushed my hair and put make-up on me. “Now smile nicely,” she instructed me. I shot her a satirical smile. “NICER!” she yelled. “They want to see pretty girls. And pretty girls SMILE.” I flashed her a fake smile. My ribs were still sore from the beating. I didn’t want that to happen again. At least if someone bought me, I could get out of this cell. I was then led to a large stage. The audience was full of men, mostly Alphas I assumed. I was instructed to stand in line and wait my turn. I watched as the omegas and other assorted rogues were auctioned off. Then it was my turn. I walked onto the stage and instantly locked eyes with a man sitting at a table in the center. He leered at me and licked his lips. I cringed in disgust. Alpha Ansaldo, I assumed. There was something in his eyes, something cruel and twisted. I shuddered. “Next up, we have a gorgeous little rogue, willing to do, well, anything you want. Bidding starts at $1 million.” I crossed my arms and lifted my chin. I gazed out, with a stubborn look on my face. “Smile!” Kate whispered from the side of the stage. I ignored her. If they were going to sell me, then fine. But I wasn’t going to play their game. Apparently, though, my stubbornness was attractive to these sick men. All at once, the crowd exploded into low murmurs. I had caught the eyes of a number of Alphas. “One million,” the man in the suit said, raising his glass. “Alpha Ansaldo has bid one million,” the auctioneer said. So I was right, it was him. “Two million,” someone in the back offered. “Three!” “Four!” I didn’t change my expression but I let my eyes glance around the room. “Ten million.” Everyone stopped and turned to the man who had made the offer. He was handsome, in a black leather jacket and a fedora. He smiled at me, and his smile seemed genuine. He didn’t look like the other men; they were all sleazeballs. This man seemed sophisticated. He sat beside another man, equally as handsome, maybe even more so. He also wore a black leather jacket. After his announcement of ten million, most of the other bidders bowed out. But not Alpha Ansaldo. “Eleven,” he said, sipping his drink. His eyes locked onto me. “Twenty,” the sophisticated man said, smirking. This angered Ansaldo. His face flushed. He slammed his hand down on the table. All eyes turned to him. “Thirty,” he said through clenched teeth. “Five hundred.” The crowd went silent. Five hundred million? I looked in shock at the man. Alpha Ansaldo stood up then, unable to control his rage. He unleashed his Alpha aura without restraint. Everyone balked. Unleashing an Alpha aura like, unrestrained, meant only one thing to werewolves. Ansaldo had just declared war. Everyone was in shock, including myself. But the man who had been bidding was unphased. He simply leaned into the man beside him and whispered something. The man beside him nodded and stood up. It was then that I realized - the other man had only been bidding on this man’s behalf. He was clearly the beta. THIS man was the real Alpha. He stood. “Five hundred million,” he repeated calmly. Ansaldo ignored this. “NO! If I can’t buy her, then I’ll just take her,” he seethed. The man at the table said nothing. So Ansaldo, full of fury, marched up to the stage. I could see the evil in his eyes as he spoke. “You will look so beautiful in my collection.” He traced my cheek with his finger. “Pretty little thing.” He walked around me, looking at me like I was some sort of piece of artwork. “I can’t wait to taste you,” he hissed in my ear. “And for you to choke on my massive cock.” I recoiled in disgust, biting back tears of humiliation. He reached out and put his hand between my legs. But then, with lightning speed, the beta rushed towards Ansaldo. I had never seen anyone move that fast! It seemed impossible. He took Ansaldo’s head into his hands and was just about to smash it into the sharp corner of the auction stage, when a voice stopped him. “Hold on.” The voice was cold and steady and it rang out through the room, reverberating off the walls. The voice went straight to my heart, causing it to beat unsteadily. His voice wasn’t loud, but it carried an irresistible power. The beta stopped instantly, Ansaldo’s head was less than a centimeter away from the corner of the table. Everyone was silent. My heart pounded quickly. Ansaldo’s lips quivered. His face turned white and he gasped for air as his eyes widened in shock. “Lycans!” His whole body shook. “You are…you are Lycans.” The terror on his face was clear. “Lycans?” The auction house broke out into exclamations. “Is it true? Are they Lycans?” Everyone whispered, wide-eyed at the thought. Anxiety and confusion rippled through the room. But then, the man at the table calmly took off his coat. Everyone watched as he hung it on the back of his chair, revealing a crisp white shirt and navy suit vest. He strode to the stage, letting loose a powerful Lycan aura. His air of nobility was palpable. His aura emanated from him and spread out through the room, passing over everyone, one at a time, and as it did, each person felt like they had been hit by an invisible force. Then his aura settled over them, like a heavy blanket. They were powerless under the suffocating pressure of the Lycan’s aura. I watched him, transfixed, as his aura hit me. It was like a lightning bolt straight to my heart. My heart raced and I began to breathe quickly. I couldn’t take my eyes off him, even though I knew that making eye contact and staring at him like this could put me in serious danger. The room was full of fear and curiosity. Who was this mysterious man? But no one could speak; they were all under his spell. Or intimidated. “Your Majesty,” his beta said, waiting for further instruction. “Go on,” the man said to Ansaldo. The beta released Ansaldo. He immediately collapsed to the ground. "Yo...your Majesty..." he uttered in disbelief, his lips trembling. "You…you're the Lycan King!" What? Was that true? This mysterious man was the Lycan King?! My eyes widened, my mind went blank, and I couldn't hear any other sounds. Fear instinctively made me move backwards...why was he here? What did he want? Was he going to destroy us all? But then, his dangerous yet captivating eyes locked onto my movement, narrowing slightly. No 2024-05-17 19:31 active 805 0 457704376755106 How To Make Big Paydays With Land Deals In 2024 I wouldn’t be caught dead driving for dollars. Wholesaling in general is just something I’d never do. Playing the middleman and trying to take advantage of both sides of a deal just doesn’t sit right with me, you know? It’s impossible to create a win-win if the only way you make money is to have somebody desperate take a low-ball offer and then convince an investor that the ARV is high enough to create some profit. Somebody always gets shafted in a wholesale deal – which is why I’ve been trying to point people towards land development for the last 20 years. All the things that people like about wholesaling… - Being able to get started without a ton of capital - Opportunity / abundance of deals - Low time commitment …All apply to doing land deals too. No 2024-05-17 19:31 active 805 0 425340756952327 My new husband is disabled, yet he manages to wear me out every night He believed his wife married him for his wealth, even though he was a cripple. He planned to use her and then divorce her. Unexpectedly, after the marriage, he fell madly in love with her. His wife wanted to divorce every day, but he just wanted to pamper her!
=====

====

What happens next?

Available chapters here are limited, click the button below to install the App and enjoy more exciting chapters (Automatically jump to this novel when you open the app)

&6& LEARN_MORE https://fbweb.moboreader.com/55905322-fb_contact-e 108394237578957 Fiction books https://facebook.com/100075615382269 47,699 1 1,144,112,623,570,186 2024-05-17 02:00 person_profile eligible 0 0 NONE 0 1 1 0 Learn more 0 Fiction books 120210865707770159 fbweb.moboreader.com NONE image https://fbweb.moboreader.com/55905322-fb_contact-enp12_8-0510-core1.html?adid={{ad.id}}&char=060236&accid=187714994423518 2024-05-16 04:38 https://scontent-lga3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/438239407_401949406144852_5640819966448320019_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_s60x60&_nc_cat=102&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=zsHvZFF3jzIQ7kNvgEZp28V&_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-1.xx&oh=00_AYDnxXYfZ3X__4SNAY_XVzFoxvUrPf4tiSvy6MsbsoTKsQ&oe=664DE346 person_profile 0 Fiction books https://scontent-lga3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/438240534_431892972910023_6312303877935631483_n.jpg?_nc_cat=108&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=ABCTaH9j9FQQ7kNvgG-57Xa&_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-1.xx&oh=00_AYDdTv2c5WIwurnn-beZssOR9YmMQzvISB_rlTwdy6f05g&oe=664DCE09 0 3 Fiction books 0 0 2024-05-17 02:00 View Edit

Yes 2024-05-17 19:31 active 805 0 769708455297088 My new husband is disabled, yet he manages to wear me out every night He believed his wife married him for his wealth, even though he was a cripple. He planned to use her and then divorce her. Unexpectedly, after the marriage, he fell madly in love with her. His wife wanted to divorce every day, but he just wanted to pamper her!
=====

====

No 2024-05-17 19:31 active 805 0 845402560954960 My new husband is disabled, yet he manages to wear me out every night Forced to marry a disabled tycoon, thinking she would be caring for him for life, she was taken aback when he stood up on their wedding night, making her exhausted every night!
=====

====

Yes 2024-05-17 19:31 active 805 0 769278351988912 How To Make Big Paydays With Land Deals In 2024 Picture this: you’re scrolling on Zillow. You find a property for 200k, find a seller willing to buy it for 250 and you walk away with a clean 50k check, feeling pretty good about yourself… And yet that’s STILL 20X less than what you could walk away with from a single raw land deal. Let’s be real…an average wholesale deal is between 5% to 10% in most cases. If you get something under contract for $100,000 and flip the contract for 10% more, you'll be generating $10,000 per deal… versus land deals where you’re walking away with 6, 7-figures at a time. It’s pennies vs. stacks. It’s almost embarrassing at that point to keep trying to make wholesaling a source of substantial income. Especially if the goal is to achieve financial AND time freedom??? Yeah ok let me know how that’s been going for you. Because to me, sounds like a whole lot of work for not a whole lot of reward. And don’t EVEN get me started on the moral implications of the practice… Now if you’re cool scamming vulnerable people for a small check over and over again, then maybe learning about raw land development is a waste of your time. But if you’re tired of the hustle and the pit in your stomach every time you flip a contract and screw someone’s grandma out of a couple thousand dollars… Click the link below and let’s get you out of there. https://land.vestright.com/vsl-prospecting LEARN_MORE https://land.vestright.com/vsl-prospecting 1918477891613374 Cody Bjugan https://facebook.com/Codybjugan 9,588 2 1,415,157,856,031,778 2024-05-17 02:00 person_profile eligible 0 0 NONE 0 0 1 0 Learn More 0 Cody Bjugan 6624036805988 land.vestright.com NONE dco {{product.description}} https://land.vestright.com/vsl-prospecting 2024-05-17 08:37 https://scontent-lga3-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/442486799_1651995805548191_7998596199585785233_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_s60x60&_nc_cat=101&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=GaloyIaEv4gQ7kNvgE4sdLU&_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-2.xx&oh=00_AYAR4_4ES9zT4m5mtfcatWRoJhsPQZtWApsfu9iVBtRRgA&oe=664DDD93 person_profile 0 Cody Bjugan https://scontent-lga3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t39.35426-6/441265020_813738294150745_4744659943329053692_n.jpg?_nc_cat=110&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c53f8f&_nc_ohc=21knhfK93XsQ7kNvgE7yt28&_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-1.xx&oh=00_AYD00p8p2nlPfx5T-7r80RbL2pntMlXH0ZTGFUKG_Amkkg&oe=664DDCCB 0 3 Cody Bjugan 0 0 2024-05-17 02:00 View Edit
