I first met Madison and Hunter in December of 2022. They are a young couple that have plans to get married and were looking to buy their first home. Due to the lack of inventory and rising interest rates and their current situation, there weren’t a lot of options.<br /> <br /> They decided to move in with family in May of 2023 and start paying off debt and saving money. Well life happens, and while they did save some money and pay off some debt, they both had to get new cars during this time.<br /> <br /> We reconnected in October 2023 and they felt they were ready to begin searching again. And while rates had risen since they first started looking, they had been coming down and with them being able to pay off debt and save money, they were in a much better place to find the perfect home.<br /> <br /> In December we found THE ONE! It was on a large lot, no HOA and well under what they were approved for. We found this home for $275,000...they were able to receive a full down payment assistance that covered their down payment and ALL of their closing costs was covered by the seller. So they got into their dream home for LESS THAN RENT and only $1,300 out of pocket.<br /> <br /> This is what makes this job rewarding.
