Ever wonder what it takes to sell a house? Here are just some of the bizarre things I&#039;ve done for my sellers:<br /> <br /> • Traded in my Subaru for my hubby’s truck 🚚<br /> • Dump runs in said truck, sooo many dump runs 🗑️<br /> • Cleaned their house head to toe the day before listing pictures because it had to get done last minute 🧼<br /> • Picked up dogs to take on rides while inspectors came 🐕<br /> • Babysat children last minute to make appointments work 👶<br /> • Mowed lawns 🌱<br /> • Worked for 8 hours straight cleaning out, moving and packing their house day before moving 📦<br /> • Raked up a decades worth of damp oak leaves on half an acre 🍂<br /> • Marketed Estate sales 🏷️<br /> • Touched up paint during a slow open house 🖌️<br /> • Cleaned stained pantry shelves during a slow open house 🧽<br /> • Fixed toilets 🚽<br /> • Cleaned off wall of dead ants in kitchen 🐜<br /> • Cleaned up dried up dead old centipedes 🦟<br /> • Removed lizards from the house 🦎<br /> • Unclogged sinks 💧<br /> • Emptied out a shed 🏚️<br /> • Emptied out garages 🚗<br /> • Cleaned out garages 🧹<br /> • Bought a kegerator to soothe a buyers agent that didn’t understand how to fill out a purchase agreement 🍺<br /> • Home Depot runs, sooo many Home Depot runs 🛒<br /> • Dealt with a crazy neighbor that cut down a tree while the home was vacant 🌳<br /> • Held a gutter in place with my shoulder while the client replaced it on a workshop 🤝<br /> • Yard work, literally sooo much yard work 🌳<br /> • Helped paint the interior- 9 hours of free labor 😅🎨<br /> • Pressure washed- do you know how much this kills your back after a few hours? 💦<br /> • Purchased and planted flowers for curb appeal 🌸<br /> • Picked out, ordered and delivered flooring order- in my Subie. 🚗<br /> • Held 26 consecutive open houses for the same ✨unique✨ listing 🏡<br /> • Placated angry neighbors irritated with open house parking. 🚗🤬<br /> <br /> This is just some of the *weird* stuff. This doesn’t include my typical above and beyond Crafted Concierge services.<br /> <br /> Moral of the story is this- real estate is weird, it rarely goes to plan.
