She has been garage kept and covered, both at home and work, and has been meticulously maintained, with every suggested routine inspection and repair done on schedule and through the Volvo dealership. All paper records saved and included in the sale. Records will show many new small and large parts, including a brand new Volvo transmission installed through Volvo approximately 30k miles ago, costing about $5500, as well as all new rotors, breaks, and tires still under warranty, new timing chain, new battery, new water pump, heater, and so much more. She is ready to go anywhere. You’ll be hard pressed to find one in such good shape and well taken care of. She runs and drives like a brand new car, and has only been given premium gas and synthetic oil changes. You can definitely drive this vehicle confidently, and trust it is in the absolute best condition possible. Tags and registration all current. <br /> <br /> You&#039;ll also be pleased to know, this Volvo was previously owned by a Volvo mechanics wife, who sold it to a friend who took it to the same Volvo mechanics its entire life, drove it to work daily, and cared for it like a spoiled wonderful child. So, although it technically has had 3 owners, it has been treated and maintained the same awesome way its whole life. <br /> <br /> It breaks my heart to sell my amazing car, but due to health problems we have decided it is time. This lovely luxury turbo charged station rocket is impossible not to love. The T5 has even better suspension than the V70, and you can feel it. This is the most responsive and stable vehicle I have ever driven.<br /> <br /> Let’s get to the fun stuff! This Volvo is special and has a lot of unique luxury features you may not be aware of.<br /> <br /> Interesting features: <br /> <br /> • The up-level T5 has a turbocharged five-cylinder engine that can go 0 to 60 in 6.2 seconds, from a standstill to 100 mph in 18.8 seconds, come to a dead stop from 70 mph in a mere 167 feet, and corner at 0.80 <br /> • 38 cubic feet of trunk space turns into 72 cubic feet with seats down <br /> • It has firmer suspension and wider tires <br /> •Transmission has a unique feature that allows you to switch from automatic to manual, although neither I or the previous owner ever used it on manual. There is no stick or clutch. <br /> • Optional additional stability traction control via a Winter/wet feature button<br /> • Tinted windows are embedded with defrost strips for simultaneous defrosting throughout. <br /> •Sunroof<br /> • The seats are heated and have programmable settings connected to your key fob<br /> • 3 keys with fobs that can be programmed individually<br /> • Front seats adjust in every direction possible including up/down and tilt<br /> • Steering wheel adjustable for both angle and reach<br /> • 2 built-in booster seats in the back that fold open and closed easily <br /> • Plenty of drink holders in front and back, as well as 2 liter bottle holder, mini table flips open between the backseats<br /> • Dual tape/CD player, and many many speakers throughout, including in the hatch area. The sound is pretty impressive. <br /> • She still has all the original extra things like a spare tire, Volvo jack, retractable cargo netting, cargo cover, user manual, and back hatch floor mat. <br /> • Top of the line Volvo V70 specific car cover<br /> • Brand new unused top of the line air mattress specific for wagon. <br /> <br /> I&#039;m sure there is more you&#039;ll discover for yourself, and you&#039;ll have a lot of fun while you do it.<br /> <br /> The only flaws to report are: A seam has come undone in the drivers seat, but luckily it is the threading and not a tear in the leather, so it can be sewed and repaired with the right tools. The door has a very tiny ding that can be seen in the right lighting and angle, I believe it must have been a parking lot door bump. The previous owner mentioned it to me and it took me a couple months to even notice it. And I almost forgot, there is one final flaw which I personally like...the slide out cup holder beside the radio has a piece broken off, and the reason I like it is because it makes a perfect cradle to hold my phone for GPS, without it shifting or falling, and there are already two other cup holders in the front. <br /> <br /> Why am I selling? The bottom line is because of my health. I have osteoporosis and arthritis and we decided we need a van to better assist us. I can attest to this Volvo being a great wagon for sleeping though, and there is plenty of space for 2 tall people to make a comfortable bed. My 6&#039;4 husband and I, 5&#039;7, can stretch out completely, and we have had several car camping trips in her. I also figured out how to make ALL the seats completely flat, even the front seats, so if you want you can make an extra long bed as long as the entire wagon, 185.4 inches in length! I can see this being very nice if you have dogs. Included in the sale is a brand new air mattress with built in pump, custom cut to fit a wagon.<br /> <br /> I am asking $6900, and I am not in a hurry to sell. I am basing my price on what other well cared for 2001 V70 T5&#039;s have sold for on other platforms. Cash buyers only.
