The Highlights &amp; Lowlights of 2023. Guys, it&#039;s.been.a.year!<br /> <br /> There were GREAT times, and SERIOUSLY HARD times. <br /> <br /> And it&#039;s taken me 40 years on this Earth to say this publicly, but I&#039;m proud of me. <br /> <br /> Running an online business around little ones is not for the faint-hearted 😅<br /> <br /> So here&#039;s my summary: <br /> <br /> THE HIGHLIGHTS 🙌<br /> <br /> 🤩 Supporting an incredible 244 clients to experience the liberating freedom of knowing how to attract ready-to-buy clients through 1-1, Magnetic Selling, Inner Circle and digital courses<br /> <br /> 🤩 Teaching a whopping 980 people my favourite sales &amp; messaging strategies through my public online events<br /> <br /> 🤩 Crossing the million dollars in PROFIT mark in my part time business (total profit since 2020)<br /> <br /> 🤩 Being invited to speak as a guest expert for my 8 figure mentor Scott Oldford&#039;s Online Business Owner Summit (&amp; being publicly named by him as one of the BEST at Messaging Strategy in the online space)<br /> <br /> 🤩 Guest speaking Collaborations with incredible online leaders such as Christina Jandali, Natasha Leigh Bray, Rose Radford Monique Forcella and Kelly Jade <br /> <br /> 🤩 Meeting one of my mentors Bushra Azhar in person for a mind-sizzling VIP day <br /> <br /> 🤩 Running a 2 day online event with my former client and Human Design expert Analena Fuchs sharing how to leverage the sweet spot of masculine &amp; feminine to create more effortless sales<br /> <br /> 🤩 Getting featured in <a href="https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2FEntrepreneur.com%2F&amp;h=AT25i0MvweGKhTJMNcwM5c4cCklCSfdKYDteNU_RENi_e66Bl-I_6gP3KY8b4quK7PQiY4jiBzo9tO2Mu_5TcWFvpvCrZzIzz-x633yo3-W8-ebXFnnmo7R8Fhq-dTpy_7-DMgACA-N2tO0S5haDIBv9d8D2ki3cGAz44Q" rel="nofollow noreferrer" target="_blank" data-lynx-mode="asynclazy">Entrepreneur.com</a> with my article titled, &quot;Here&#039;s why your marketing isn&#039;t resonating&quot; shared with their ONE MILLION subscribers<br /> <br /> 🤩 Taking 6 glorious weeks to go home to the UK after 5 long years away, and meeting family, friends and clients in person<br /> <br /> 🤩 Having a 6 figure sales month while I was there after only working 1 week of that month (comment SIX FIGURES if you want the behind the scenes training of how I did it)!<br /> <br /> 🤩 Making the life-changing decision to move to Adelaide, South Australia to be closer to my sister, and enabling my husband to take 12 months sabbatical while my business supports our family <br /> <br /> 🤩 Spending time IN PERSON with clients and team members in Sydney (Something I plan to do much more of once I move to Adelaide so watch this space 😉<br /> <br /> 🤩 Turning 40 and treating me and close family to an all expenses paid luxury getaway with private swimming pool, champagne on tap and private yummy catering!<br /> <br /> THE LOWLIGHTS<br /> <br /> 🩷 My daughter Livvy, 3, ended up in hospital with a bone infection requiring urgent surgery. She was finally diagnosed under MRI at a hospital 4 hours away after we spent 5 days not knowing if the mass on the x-ray would be an infection or a tumour. She then spent 6 weeks in a wheelchair.<br /> <br /> It was the HARDEST time of our lives and I admit that I spiralled into allll the worst case scenarios as we waited for conclusive news. I also learned a powerful lesson when I didn’t acknowledge my own need to recover emotionally from the experience and ended up with adrenal fatigue shortly after.<br /> <br /> 🩷 Two very close friends lost their parents and Livvy lost a darling friend aged just 2 in her daycare<br /> <br /> 🩷 This was also the year that tested my boundaries like NEVER before.<br /> <br /> I had to navigate wildly uncomfortable situations where clients defaulted on payments; were in breach of their contracts; or were expecting me to be on call 24/7.<br /> <br /> As an innate people-pleaser this was one of the steepest learning curves and thank goodness I had the support of my legal counsel, mentor and team throughout this.<br /> <br /> 🩷 I also had to let a business partnership go that had started so promisingly but I soon realised was NOT the right fit for me or my clients. I know these things are a part of business but they still really sucked, especially as an HSP!<br /> <br /> Thank you 2023 for the lessons, the laughs and the tears. <br /> 2024 I&#039;m ready for you 🔥
