Getting the Love You Want: Streamlined Essentials

We’ve taken the essential elements of the Getting the Love You Want Couples Workshop and condensed the material into an 8 hour online workshop you can take from the comfort of home. This workshop is a wonderful way to start your Imago journey. You will learn communication tools to improve the way you and your partner relate to one another, you will find connections to the ways your past may be influencing your present interactions, and you will practice connecting with your partner in a safe and effective way. This weekend workshop is one of the best things you can do for your relationship.

Remember the feelings of anticipation and excitement? For many of us, falling in love and devoting our time, money, and energy to capture the heart of our beloved was a very special time. You may have felt alive, whole, and connected to the world and the people in it. Then, before long, that blissful feeling disappeared. Today, there are careers, budgets, family schedules, and a seemingly never-ending list of to dos that add to our personal and relational stress. Relationships begin to take a backseat to life’s other demands. Connection, generosity, and compassion are often replaced with feelings of disillusionment, anger, or betrayal.

The good news is love doesn’t have to be this way. At Imago Georgia, we can help you get your connection back… and keep it! Even if you are in a great relationship, the Getting the Love You Want couples workshop can show you a new way to connect. In our online weekend workshop, we will teach you tools to deepen your understanding of yourself and your partner. You will learn:

• Skills to improve understanding and communication with your partner

• How the unconscious forces that attract you to your partner are also the source of conflict

• New tools to renew the passion and pleasure in your relationship

• To use your relationship as a safe space for emotional and spiritual growth

• Methods for increasing compassion

This workshop is appropriate if you:

The Getting the Love You Want couples workshop is based on the theory and exercises described in the best-selling book, Getting the Love You Want: A Guide for Couples by Harville Hendrix, PhD and Helen LaKelly Hunt, PhD.

COST: $495 per couple. Please select only one registration. You will fill out both of your information on the Participant Questionnaire.

CEUs: 10 CEUs for therapists are available for an additional $30 fee.
