SnoValley Gospel Experience - Session #5

Join us for session#5 March 10th. We will start with some tunes we learned in previous sessions and learn some more.

This is a sing-a-long, clap your hands, dance or just sit ay listen event. Come and bring your friends for an amazing time.

Gospel Experience?
It's not a rehearsal, not a concert, the goal this time is to share the experience of what we were doing, and the music, with more people, so the event is different.

1) We are going to have a full band every time we meet...
2) It's going to be a whole lot of fun, fun and fun...
3) We are going to keep the music simple, with some twists and turns, but it should be fun and accessible without having to "know how to read music"
4) But yes, we are going to "read music" together, and learn the songs together, keeping it simple, accessible and fun,
5) The event is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to come along, sing, listen, clap, dance, whatever...

As we learn our songs, the beginning of each time we meet will be more like a presentation of the songs we know, and the last half will be learning more new songs.

Eventually, I am hoping it evolves into a choir + audience / all singing together.. with a full band. But the plan is to probably start with everyone just singing from the audience.

That's the 'plan-ish'... subject to 'change-ish!'

I am planning on calling our experiment the "Sno Valley Gospel Experience..." and the tagline is "Come sing with us; super fun, super simple, gospel music for everyone!"

a) Where? @ Cascade Covenant Church - 13225 436th Ave SE, North Bend, WA 98045
b) When? Monthly. See event details for the next one.
c) What TIme? from 7 to 8:30pm
d) Attire? Come as you are. I will be dressed pretty casual.
e) All are welcome, regardless of ability to read notes, regardless of faith and any demographics whatsoever.
f) Full disclosure! We are going to be singing Gospel music, so there is a lot of singing about Jesus...
g) Repeat: All are welcome, and encouraged to sing along...
h) Yes, people can come along and just clap or sit and listen...
g) Stay flexible as the format evolves.

I am going to be creating a facebook event and other details, so we can share that way, stand by for that.
