Body | What I have to say about smoking (and about quitting) may be upsetting to smokers...but it will also enlighten them to think differently about quitting, and empower them to feel ready to tackle it.

I am here to set the record straight for the countless smokers who have been failed (time and time again) by the people in positions to help them, and by an industry alleging to have the answers.

I am not here to say oversights are intentional. Or to minimize the value of past quit attempts.

But I believe that many smokers have been cheated out of their time, money, sanity and freedom by the misunderstandings and misleadings about the right way to go about quitting.

And it pains me to think about the amount of disease, disability and suffering that may have been avoided if this information were better known.

It’s a mess.

For smokers who are currently struggling to quit or for those who have given up hope of quitting, this information needs to be understood.

First, it may help to introduce myself and establish some credibility so that my readers feel confident they are being guided responsibly.

My name is Kelly and I am a Mayo Clinic-Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist.

Maybe Mayo Clinic is familiar? It’s the #1 ranked hospital system and home to the world famous Nicotine Dependence Center; one of the country’s only inpatient programs for tobacco users.

So I’ve trained under world leaders in the field of tobacco dependence.

I’m also a small business owner who has worked with thousands of smokers over the last 15 years, leading them to freedom from a lifetime dependence on cigarettes.

For now, let me say that it’s rare to find a privately-operating Quit Specialist.

I don’t work for a hospital or community center. And I don’t get a salary.

Why is that important?

Because it means I HAVE to be good at what I do in order to earn a living.

I’m also a former smoker. So there’s that, too.

And I have to constantly innovate to compete in an industry with very deep pockets (Big Pharma).

So why isn’t my method more well-known?

Simple. Because personal, customized support cannot be mass-produced for huge profits.

Makes sense, doesn’t it?

And the more time I spent working in tobacco treatment, the more it became obvious what the real problems were.

It also became obvious why I was the only one that seemed to care.

See, stop smoking products and services aren’t concerned with long-term success.

Their business models bank on smokers quitting for only a short while...and then returning for more of a given product or service after a relapse.

And it takes advantage of unsuspecting smokers believing they were onto something when short-term success was achieved.

That didn’t sit right with me. So I made a bold and risky move, I developed a new model that makes traditional models look bad.

And the fact is, I’m losing money right now because of that decision.

But it doesn’t change that it’s the right decision. So, I’m OK with that for now, while I focus on building this business.

Here’s the bottom line. Quitting is a process; not an event. Order is important. And the “quitting” part shouldn’t come first.

Refreshing, right?

It’s going to take some time for smokers to get on board with this truth; that ownership, accountability and risk are key to being successful with quitting.

But there’s good news. I’ve developed a plan that includes all of these things.

And I share a lot about that plan and of what I know about this subject in my free online Masterclass.

Now, as a former smoker who didn’t want to quit and never believed quitting would be possible, I’m pretty passionate about some things:

-Motivation & inspiration can be developed
-You don’t have to feel “ready” to quit to be able to quit
-It’s easier to follow a plan than to create one

Blah, blah blah. (All very true, btw).

As soon as smokers stop looking for quitting to get easier...and start looking to get better at quitting, they can begin to make major breakthroughs.

And guess what? It’s literally my job to help smokers do that.

Common sense should guide important decisions like quitting smoking.

And common sense begins with taking advantage of free resources offered by a professional quit specialist.

Join me now here without any cost, risk or pressure whatsoever https://www.quitwithkelly.com/webinar-registration |
