I am really impressed with the technology from @Jovs.official. As an esthetician for over 15 years, I’ve never in my life seen this kind of professional technology applied to at-home devices. The idea of using laser lights in a comfortable mask is simply genius.
I’ve used a 1064nm laser to treat clients since 2007; it has and probably always will be one of the gold standards in the industry for non-invasively (and safely) targeting collagen at the base of the dermis.
The Jovs 4D Laser Red Light Therapy Mask is 6 times stronger than LED! Now don’t get me wrong, LED is still one of my favorite ways to treat the skin at home, but up until now it’s been one of the ONLY ways to mimic results you would get in a professional setting. LED typically reaches a depth of about 650nm - 850nm into the skin; the Jovs 4D Laser Mask uses 660nm, 850nm, 940nm and 1064nm!!
With regular use, skin exposure to a 1064nm will yield amazing changes; fewer fine lines (it helps boost collagen and increase circulation), a smoother/clearer complexion, less redness/inflammation (think rosacea or acne scars), fewer breakouts, and even less darkness under the eyes.
I’ve personally noticed that my acne scars appear less prominent, my skin is less blotchy or red, and a little more “plump” all around the pores and fine lines. It feels like a less strong version of the heavy duty professional lasers we use in treatment rooms; warm on the skin with some tightening effects.
Other fun facts about this mask; the inner lining is made of food grade silicone (not plastic), it covers the mouth (but you can still breathe) to target lines on the upper lip, it has 3 different modes so you can ease your way into stronger treatments, and it has 3 different timers so you can customize how long you want to have it on.
