Hi everybody and Happy New Year! I’m stoked to post an entertaining chat with my first guest for 2025 for the TALK MUSIC PODCAST and its Mediterranean artist extraordinaire PAVLO!

Born in Toronto to Greek parents, PAVLO’S amazing journey to his successfully touring concert halls around the world is Most impressive!
Over the span of his 20 year career, he’s released 17 albums and 4 PBS TV concert Specials including the last one which was filmed in Santorini!
Two of his albums went GOLD and he had a Top 10 Billboard hit with the album “FANTASIA”.
In 2002, PAVLO won a lawsuit against R&B Mega Stars: R-KELLY and JAY-Z.
The R&B stars sampled his music and made a Top 10 hit song “Fiesta” based on Pavlo’s original melody “Fantasia”. His actual guitar work was lifted and placed repeatedly into the song 27 times.
And he has performed for King Charles and worked and toured with artists such as Jose Feliciano, Olivia Newton John and The Tenors.
PAVLO also performed and recorded a trio album called “Trifecta” with legendary guitarists OSCAR LOPEZ and Hall of Famer RIK EMMETT (Triumph) and their subsequent national tour was sold out! The album also earned PAVLO a Juno nomination.
Playing what he calls “Mediterranean music”- a blend of Greek, Flamenco, Latin and even Balkan flavours, we chat about his early childhood, how he went GOLD on his debut album and then sold out Toronto’s Massey Hall which he still does.
We also talk about how he continued to grow his popularity over the years by orchestrating the release of 4 PBS specials allowing him to tour constantly all over North America.
PAVLO has headlined over 3000 concerts so far and being a born entertainer he will just keep performing and performing………………………
