Ah, the home inspection—a magical moment when your dream home gets put under a magnifying glass, and every teeny-tiny imperfection gets unearthed. It's like your house decided to audition for a "What's My Flaw?" reality show!

Inspectors: "Hold my clipboard, I’m about to find every single quirk this house has ever had."

Let’s be real, though: not every crack is major. Sometimes it’s just a tiny flaw living rent-free in the home, minding its business. But when the inspector’s job is to nitpick every nook and cranny, suddenly it’s a big deal.

And yet, somehow, we all survive! Case in point: one of my buyers set a record this year for the longest repair list I've ever seen agreed to. Here are some gems:

🛠 The Roof Shenanigans:

Roof replacement (but hey, they got to pick the shingle color—win!).
Granular loss, dish mounts, and a jungle of tree limbs hanging out on top.

💡 Electricity Meets Drama:

"Overfused" AC unit. (Sounds dramatic, but it’s just overkill in fuse form.)
Add a carbon monoxide detector because, apparently, breathing safely is important.

🚪 Door & Window Soap Opera:

Crooked doors, foggy windows, and one basement closet door that just gave up entirely.

🌿 Bonus Features:

Dryer vent cleaning (because lint explosions are so last season).
Some “possible fungal growth” in the garage—just enough for a spooky vibe.

Inspections can feel overwhelming, but remember: every house has its quirks, and most of them are fixable. So take a deep breath, laugh at the absurdity of it all, and trust the process.
