Job Title: Tow Truck Call Taker/Dispatcher- Salary based on experience
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tow Truck Call Taker/Dispatcher. In this role, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, determining the nature of the caller's problem, and dispatching tow trucks to provide assistance. You will work closely with our team of drivers and coordinate their schedules to ensure timely response to customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answering incoming calls from customers who require towing services.
• Determining the nature and urgency of the customer's problem and dispatching appropriate tow truck drivers to provide assistance.
• Keeping accurate records of all calls received, including the customer's name, address, phone number, and the type of service requested.
• Communicating effectively with drivers to ensure timely response to customer needs.
• Updating drivers on any changes to their schedule or route, and providing them with relevant information such as customer location and service requirements.
• Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when dealing with customers and drivers at all times.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as any relevant regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including dispatch software and GPS.
• Knowledge of the local area and road networks.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
