Body | 52.4% of obese men have LowT...I was one of them AND what I did about it. I was lost. I had gone everywhere, and done everything but felt more lost than ever. Every day I felt like I was becoming less and less of who I wanted to become. I was fat, fatigued, frustrated, and on the verge of giving up. I was having performance problems in the bedroom, and barely even felt like a man anymore. I went to school, I had studied nutrition, but all of that seemed useless now… I could not fix myself. I could not lose weight and keep it off… I had done all the right things to lose weight and as soon as I got down it would just come right back…but worse! I would lose some and then look in the mirror and think I looked even worse… Now I was just ‘skinny fat’! No shoulders, no biceps, and a big fat roll around the midsection!! I felt like I was worse off than before! So I started looking for help from others…someone MUST be able to help! I had searched for help, I went to see other ‘professionals’...but nothing got better. Everyone seemed to laugh it off, telling me it was part of getting old, or worse some would suggest a new ‘magic’ medication that would make it all better. But it didn’t, in fact, things just got worse. I had reached a point where I didn’t think anything would help and I was ready to quit! If it wasn't for my kids…I think I would have. I mean struggle is normal, but constant failure time and time again…that’s not normal! That level of failure sucks the hope right out of you, it makes it hard to get up in the morning and face another day. BUT, I wanted to be a role model, I wanted to be an example for my kids that if you get up one more time than you are knocked down you can succeed! So, I kept searching. I decided that someone, somewhere must know 1 small thing that will make a difference… And if I meet enough people with 1 small thing to offer then eventually I can add them all up and change my life! So I committed to figuring this out. And after a LOT of trial and error, I did! And with this new approach, I was finally able to go from overweight and fatigued to fit, energized, and youthful. Oddly enough, what I discovered (and put into action) was so counterintuitive that I didn’t mention it to anyone. I thought I would be ridiculed. After all, common advice leads to common results. And “common results” are not great. And my new approach was anything but “common”. It was different. It challenged convention. But it worked. Yet, I was still surprised by my own results… Especially after so many years of repeated failures. But I knew I was on to something and… So, as I started to see my own results with my weight and LowT issues I ran a little experiment and tested this new approach with a bunch of my clients. And sure enough, within as little as 17 days, they too were seeing results…even when nothing else had worked for them. I was thrilled.
