Body | 2003 Moto Guzzi V11 Lemans - $4,500.00 2003 Moto Guzzi V11 Lemans with a little over 20,000 miles. The Lemans is intuitive, responsive, smooth, and crazy fun -- the most fun bike I’ve ever owned. I bought the bike from a great guy in Arizona. I had been under family pressure to rid myself of all my motorcycles and responded by buying one more. I picked it up from the shipper the day before my first bone marrow transplant. I am the third owner. Now, four and a half years and one more transplant later, I don’t ride that much and am thinning the herd. The factory paint is two-tone grey/black (there are a few flaws in the paint one where the tank meets the seat and one area where the clear coat is peeling, both pictured). I painted the valve covers red (high-temperature paint) for effect (no, it’s not a Rossa Corso). The Staintune mufflers have the most beautiful exhaust note I know. Starts right away, every time. New battery this past year. Lowered pegs (Motratech) made a huge improvement in long ride comfort. I also put on the MRA.de higher windscreen and bar risers (Apex 4" Riser Clip-On Set) that move the bars up and back approximately 40 mm. This combination leaves the bike "sporty" enough to lean assertively into corners, but makes it more comfortable on longer trips, allowing a more upright riding position. With these mods, this is my favorite of the eight Guzzis that I've owned. Ventura luggage rack system. Mechanically sound except the mileage trip meter is hard to reset. I had the throttle bodies balanced and EFI dialed in about 1,000 miles ago by AJ Cycle in Massachusetts. Clean title. Come have a look. Dry weight: 226.0 kg (498.2 pounds) |
