#justiceforlily<br /> <br /> 💔Here is Lily&#039;s story (formerly pandora).<br /> <br /> SHE DIED AT VALLEY VETERINARY SERVICES IN LEMOORE CA DURING A SPAY AS A HAPPY HEALTHY 6 MONTH OLD PUPPY<br /> <br /> WEDNESDAY JANUARY 24TH 2024 THIS HAPPENED <br /> <br /> 🐾This isn&#039;t about me or you this is about RESCUE ANIMALS<br /> <br /> We are here to save the lives of your rescue animals.<br /> If you&#039;ve lost an animal or had a bad experiences private message me! We are finding out that more have died during routine spays and neuters. Is this because they were treated differently??!!?<br /> <br /> This is not our regular vet. They were booked and we needed to spay and neuter because they had a home.<br /> They were rude. <br /> <br /> This vet told us rescues are treated differently. Trying to shift the blame on rescues for &quot;cutting corners&quot;. <br /> Procedures are different for rescues they don&#039;t do exams or do a basic check on the heart. NO empathy. NO remorse. They don&#039;t care. <br /> <br /> THIS WAS HEARD AND FELT BY 4 PEOPLE AND COULD NOT HAVE BEEN TAKEN OUT OF TEXT IN ANY WAY. We waited 8 days to hear anything from vet reaching out and there was nothing. <br /> <br /> Receptionist said this happens often with rescues because they don&#039;t do bloodwork. We aren&#039;t gonna do bloodwork unless we feel needed.<br /> <br /> NEVER in my 18 years of rescue (today to the day) have I lost a pup during spay or neuter. After taking to vet techs with years of rescue and vets they haven&#039;t lost one either.<br /> <br /> There are so many lies that built up. The vet told us if autopsy necropsy was done we could NOT get the body cremated. Cremation place was called by adopter that was a lie. We didn&#039;t want autopsy there because of all the lies we didn&#039;t know if it would be done correctly.<br /> <br /> He said pick ups are Tuesdays. The vet receptionist said Lily&#039;s body was picked up Thursday. Then they tried to cover that lie. We got her body.<br /> <br /> I met adopter with scooby and Lily&#039;s body to cremate with her cremation place because they care.<br /> <br /> So as for autopsy necropsy at this time.....<br /> Our adopter and we have looked everywhere for somewhere who will :<br /> <br /> Return the body for cremation.<br /> Still be able to because of being frozen then thawed.<br /> Still be able to because it&#039;s been 8 days.<br /> A vet said there may be no point now. That our story doesn&#039;t sound right as it is.<br /> <br /> We still had to pay for the spay. Our rescue friend paid the cremation and didn&#039;t get a refund when they didn&#039;t cremate.<br /> <br /> 💔🚨RESCUES SHOULD NOT BE TREATED DIFFERENTLY!<br /> <br /> THEY ALL MATTER. WE ARE THEIR VOICE!<br /> <br /> Valley Veterinary Services in Lemoore ca treats rescue animals differently. <br /> <br /> THE GOAL IS TO SPAY &amp; NEUTER!<br /> Please do not be discouraged because this has not happened elsewhere. We&#039;ve been to many vets. <br /> <br /> 🙏🙏🙏WE ARE WORRIED ABOUT RESCUES IN THE AREA THAT NEED A VET FOR RESCUE VET SERVICES<br /> They need someone who cares and knows what they are doing!
