2. Chef Shelly Flash's culinary journey, rooted in watching her grandmother cook, has blossomed into a career spanning over a decade in the food industry. From humble beginnings as a hostess in Brooklyn to prestigious roles at the James Beard House, her work ethic has made a mark on the culinary world. In 2018, Chef Shelly and her daughter Jataun founded 2 Girls & a Cookshop, blending traditional Jamaican cuisine with diasporic street fare.
