LONG POST SUNDAY: *We have 33 of 100 Blessing Baskets and we have one month and 5 days to go. I will post every day this week. Y'all, we could feed almost 500 people with 100 baskets. Can you imagine someone gifting you an entire Thanksgiving meal? How would that feel? Would you feel loved? Valued? Cared for? Important? Yes, you would.
*We have the ability to change lives in one day. Last year, Teresa Aagaard won the $100 prize money for the "Best Basket". There is no criteria for this, just the basket chosen by the Guidance Counselors and the people they bring to help. Teresa then took that money and was a blessing again. Y'all are seriously the best!! RayRay Jay and her robotics club did FIVE baskets last year. They were the cutest baskets and we had so many comments on them.
Want me to bring you a basket and a copy of this form? I will be glad to do that. I bought 30 baskets to give out. Many of you took them on Taco Night. Remember to register the basket, too.
We have 6 schools: Apalachee, Buck Lake, Chaires, Ruediger, Sabal Palm, and WT Moore.
How many baskets will you sign up to bring on 11/18 or 11/19? Who do you know that would love to bring a Blessing Basket? Your job? A friend? Your boss? Your Sunday School class? A basket is less than $60 and that includes the $25 gift card to Walmart or Publix for a turkey, ham, and butter.
PLEASE take a minute to sign up. If you want me to bring you a basket this week, call/text me at 850-544-5455. If you would rather send me $60 and let me shop and put your basket together, we can do that, too. (Honestly, that is what I do with my Samaritan's Purse Christmas Shoeboxes. I give someone else the money and have them shop the box)
So, this is the first day of the week I will post the Blessing Basket need. Please know it will only be for this week, but I have a goal to help 100 families and I need your support. You will make the difference in the life of a local child and their family.
