For the Crumb Topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions 👩‍🍳

1️⃣ Prepare the Cake Batter: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan. In a large bowl, beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs, pumpkin purée, milk, and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until smooth.
2️⃣ Make the Cream Cheese Layer: In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
3️⃣ Layer the Cake: Pour half of the pumpkin batter into the prepared pan. Gently spread the cream cheese mixture over the batter, then top with the remaining pumpkin batter.
