Body | Shrimp and Crab Gratin 🦀🍤🦀 Ingredients: 1 lb lump crab meat, drained and picked over for shells Preheat Oven & Prepare Baking Dish: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and set aside. In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the celery, onion, and red bell pepper, and sauté for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Sprinkle flour over the sautéed vegetables and stir well to combine. Slowly add the milk and heavy cream, whisking constantly to prevent lumps. Cook until the mixture thickens, about 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Gently fold in the lump crab meat and chopped shrimp, being careful not to break up the crab too much. Mix until everything is evenly coated with the creamy sauce. Pour the seafood mixture into the prepared baking dish. In a small bowl, mix together the Panko breadcrumbs and melted butter, then sprinkle evenly over the top of the casserole.
