Time is short y’all!! Jesus’ return is at hand. We must get back to salvation!! Saved souls is God’s prime kingdom directive. His top priority !!! We’ve gotten relaxed and lukewarm and we’ve made the Gospel message to be “common.”

Acts 10 verse 9 opens up with a story where Peter is given a profound revelation from God telling him to kill and eat all kinds of traditionally forbidden four footed animals and even reptiles. Peter is like “no way Jose” telling the Lord he’s not going to ever eat unclean or “common” things. How God responds is what I want to use to drive my point home with. The Lord tells Peter, “What God has cleansed you must not call common.” Boom !!!

My friends, when God's done something, don't you make a little deal about it. Don't act like it's something common when God says something and that it’s no big deal. God was saying to Peter, “I know that Jews don't associate with gentiles, and I know that you see them as unclean, but from this day forward, the gospel's gonna be preached to those people, and if I call them clean, don't you call it something common when I do the miracle of salvation.”

What Peter failed to realize is that God wanted him to be a part of a plan the Lord has been planning for 4.000 years. It was there when God shut the gates of Eden. It was in place when Noah floated out of the flood with his family. This plan was something God had been planning, and Peter was acting like it's something common, but he wasn’t seeing the bigger picture that God had been waiting for this moment when the gospel would break out from just Jesus ministering to Jewish people, to that time in Peter’s lifetime that it was to become for all men of all races, and all backgrounds and transform into a gospel of “whosoever will.” Peter didn’t realize that God was planning it with the virgin birth and was planning it when Jesus showed up in physical body. And God was saying it was not just God for men, and God with men, but now it's God in men, and the death, the burial, the resurrection!! God was saying “don't call this common, don't call the precious blood shed on the cross common because I'm going to save the gentiles, and the Jews. It’s for everybody, and don't act like it's some common, normal, just whatever thing that I'm doing, Peter.”

That’s what I feel has happened with salvation. In churches we talk about everything but salvation it seems like. It’s the most important thing yet seems to be the least talked about. We’ve lost the wonder when we call something common. Don't call this common. Don't get over the miracle of salvation. This saved, born again life that we're living, right now, not someday when things get perfect, but right now, is anything but common. Y’all!!! Come on !! We’re living in an uncommon, extraordinary life, and you don't need to act like it's common. This is what God has done in your life. And when He's done something don't you dare call it common.

The story of Noah and the Ark, the greatest part of that story is not the building of the boat, but the presence of the passengers and how all of the passengers, all those animals made it on. God led the animals out of their natural habitat into a place where they would be safe, where they would be rescued, and the same God that led them, led you out, led you out of your bondage, led you out of your darkness, led you out of your sin, led you out of your past, and brought you to this place of safety in salvation. It's a miracle that you have been forgiven. It's a miracle that you are saved. And don't you ever treat it as though it's common. In other words, get saved and never get over it. Tell everyone about salvation. It is not common. It is literally the cure for death.

There's a lot of animals that were left in the jungle during that flood just as there are many people who have perished since Christ gave His life up for us on the Cross but here you are saved and on your way to heaven. And what God has cleansed, do not call common. Instead your enthusiasm, your thanksgiving, your appreciation, should be uncommon. You’re living a dream. You’re living a miracle. Don't let God's greatest miracle, and greatness in your life, and greatest blessings in your life become common. Don't lose the wonder of it all. You should never look at your saved life as a common thing. God has blessed you. God raised you from the dead. The Bible says the wages of sin are death. You were the walking dead and now you’re alive. Where's your gratitude? Where's your thankfulness? Where's your enthusiasm rfor God? Your life is supernatural. It's God's blessing.

Now go out there and tell someone about Jesus who can save their life. You’ve been recruited into your Father, God’s, business of saving souls. You have been saved and it is not a common thing. It is everything !!! Tell everyone !!
