You are invited to the closing reception of Momím Wené: Medicine Water on Friday, Oct. 11, from 6-8 pm at the Bank of America Gallery at Harris Center, on the Folsom Lake College Campus, located at 10 College Parkway, Folsom.

Join the Momím Wadaahá team to enjoy native art and refreshments provided by regional tribal artists and a native plant giveaway. The first 50 guests will receive a limited edition Momím Wené poster featuring artwork by Melissa Melero-Moose.

The Bank of America Gallery is open Tuesday-Thursday, from Noon-4 pm and during Harris Center events. Participating artists include Tiffany Adams, Carson Bates, Jennifer Bates, Anthony Burris, Jacky Calanchini, Denise Davis, Billy Hawk Enos, Harry Fonseca, Delana Galvan, Jacinda Tayaba-Cordero, Jaime Lanouette, Kai LaPena, Sage LaPena, Vince LaPena, Raymond LeBeau, Viola LeBeau, Meyo Marrufo, Melissa Melero-Moose, Shanti Parks, Jeremy Peconom, Petee Ramirez, Lyn Risling, Steven Saffold, Kat Solares, Deerstine Suehead, and Malissa Tayaba.

Momím Wené, presented by the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians' Exhibits & Collections Center (ECC) in partnership with concept:art+movement, is the opening event of the Momím Wadaahá Campaign, made possible by the Capitol Region Creative Corps grant. This activity is funded in part by the California Arts Council, a state agency.
