Art Show & Fundraiser Featuring Hamaishi

The Mountain Home Arts Council is excited to announce a unique Art Show & Fundraiser on Saturday, October 12, from 1 PM to 4 PM at Blue Pit Brewing, showcasing the extraordinary work of local artist Patti Hamaishi. Known for her award-winning artwork and stunning murals, Hamaishi is making a generous contribution of over 100 paintings from the early years of her career—works that she typically does not sell.

This special event aims to support the Mountain Home Arts Council’s community programming. Proceeds from the sale and raffle of Hamaishi’s artwork will directly fund initiatives in performing, visual, and literary arts and humanities, as well as enhance essential resources such as a portable stage, upgraded lighting and sound systems, and artist fees for workshops and performances that exceed the current budget.

Join us for an afternoon of art, drinks, food, and live music by Davis French!

The art show will feature a dynamic schedule:
• 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM: Exclusive preview for Mountain Home Arts Council patrons.
• 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM: Buy-it-now period with suggested minimum donations.
• 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Sale of raffle tickets for remaining paintings.
• 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Announcement of raffle winners.

Don’t miss this opportunity to support local arts while enjoying an afternoon of creativity and community spirit!

About the Artist:
Patti Hamaishi, raised in a military family, has been interested in art since childhood. Her favorite classes in school involved art, and she credits her mom, Jennifer DeGrassi-Williams, and Bobbi Kelly for her inspiration in trying many art mediums. Today, Hamaishi’s primary mediums are watercolor and oils but she tries anything new and interesting to see if she can combine mediums or create a new style. “I would say my ‘style’ at this time is COLOR as I tend to ‘see’ color in a different way,” she notes. “I have participated in Community Canvas for the past eight years and enjoy the comradery and meeting new artists.” And as a final note Hamaishi says, “Live life in color.”
