Rider was Lost or,I now believe more so Picked up by someone on September 9, 2023 Delhaven Beach,Middle twp, NJ 08251 near Roosevelt blvd and Delaware Ave Delhaven on beach.I have a sign there.<br /> Message from Owner: Discription:10 year old female Yellow Belly slider turtle lost on Delhaven Nj beach up away from water in dune area Saturday Sept.9th about 2 pm afternoon.<br /> Reasonable REWARD No questions asked.for her safe return.<br /> If anyone has her please return her to me. I had her since she since a hatchling.She is a family pet.<br /> I did see a tall younger guy-dark hair wearing dark blue shorts and same color short sleeve tee shirt no markings on shirt carring something with 2 hands walking from Eldridge Ave direction towards Roosevelt blvd then back towards Eldridge Ave direction at the time when she went missing. I didn’t expect anyone to pick her up.<br /> I had to walk only 100 ft away n back to get the turtle carring basket left on beach.During that time is when she went missing.it only took me a real 1 minute each way.Then she way gone.<br /> I am reaching out to Everybody who walks the beach from Delhaven toVillas, cape may direction but, I am in high alert to Eldridge Avenue area as I believe I saw the same guy on Eldridge Avenue beach area on a sunday afternoon early March 2024 from only a short distance.If he lives in the neighborhood or visiting. I didnt have time to get towards him as he walked off the beach at Eldridge Avenue. I believe it was the same guy.I now have a small sign on beach at Eldridge Avenue hoping if it&#039;s him he will see the sign.<br /> This is my gut feeling that someone has her in that area as I believe I would have found her in the woods around the area she was.<br /> I searched 3 months prior,morning n end of day 7 days a week few hours each day then I remembered my that guy possibly had picked her up not knowing she was mine.<br /> If that person who I believe may have picked her if he can respectfully return her to me.(one of 2 turtles)<br /> Riders sister Flo and I are hoping she will be returned to us.She is deeply missed and she also needs special care during egg carring season.semi aquatic turtles need fresh water n land too.can only eat in water.<br /> She was digging to lay eggs and I ran down about 100 ft to get my gatoraid and carrier only took me 2 minutes .when I came back she was turtle on the beach Saturday September 9,2023.I still have her sister Flo.<br /> Please help pass the word around on the streets and people on beach up End of Eldridge Ave,Middle twp and villas.Lower twp and Entire Cape May county. She may have been given to someone. She vanished where the sign is closer to Roosevelt blvd end on beach.That is the heart of where she was.
