Body | STOP AND DO THIS RIGHT NOW. <br /> <br /> 1. Center yourself. Breath in for 8 seconds, hold for 8 seconds, breath out for 8 seconds. Repeat 8 times. (I do this with my 11-year-old daughter in any times of anxiety or stress or worry. I do it before I go to a meeting, take a phone call, plan my day, speak to my friends. I do this pretty much before I take any inspired action). <br /> <br /> 2. Get into a grateful place. Think of something you are extremely grateful for, something that brings a smile to your face the minute you think about it. Now concentrate on that thing, that person, that goal, that ideal. Keep thinking about it for one minute, set a timer. Go through all the ways that you love that thing you are thinking about. <br /> <br /> 3. Focus on your ideal life. Focus on your future future not your past. Focus on what you would want to have versus what you currently see. Choose one thing, and journal for one minute on that thing, what it is, how it would make you feel once you achieve it, and imagine having it right now. The more emotional you can become about that item the better. <br /> <br /> This can be done in a maximum of five minutes.
