On the eve of my 30th birthday, I was so depressed I wanted to crawl into a hole and die.

Things were not going well for me. I was flat broke, in debt up to my eyeballs, and 4 months behind on my rent.

I lived in a sh!tty little apartment with no furniture. I had no car. I had no money.

I would buy groceries with my credit card. Then when the bill came, I would use a second card to pay the minimum payment on the first one. Then, use a third card to pay the minimum on the second one.

I couldn’t even afford to buy myself a beer. So when my friends would ask me to go out with them, I’d make up some BS excuse about how I couldn’t join them because I was “busy.” Needless to say, I had no love life.

My stress levels were through the roof. I had chronic abdominal pain. I had back pain and joint pain. I had anxiety and panic attacks, with cycles of depression in between. I had claustrophobia.

Not a pretty picture.

Now fast forward today. I am living a life that’s so amazing that I have to pinch myself to believe it’s real.

I live in a 9-room house that’s 5 doors in from the beach. And I have a beautiful office that faces the marina.

I have two adult children who I love dearly and who I love hanging out with. And I have a great circle of friends and loved ones who I get to do all kinds of amazing things with.

I go on multiple vacations per year. I spend summers in the Mediterranean and winters in the Caribbean. I travel to great cities, dine at Michelin-starred restaurants, and stay in luxury suites at the best hotels.

I am in excellent health, and my biological age is more than a decade below my chronological age.

My abdominal pains are gone. My back pain is gone. My anxiety, depression, and claustrophobia are gone.

So how did I get here? What did I do differently the second half of my life than the first half of my life?

Did I work harder? No. I work a tiny fraction of the hours that I used to work.

Am I smarter? Nope. I am the same doofus today that I was 30 years ago.

Was it luck? Well, we all have good luck and bad luck. I’ve had some lucky breaks, but I’ve also had some freakishly unlucky things happen to me.

No, the difference is none of those things. The reason for my success is that I had great mentors.

Everything I’m great at is because I had a great mentor. And everything I suck at, I either had no mentor or a lousy mentor.

I listened to my mentors and soaked up all the lessons they taught me. But I didn’t stop there. I also reverse engineered what they were doing. And what I discovered is that they were all following a set of timeless principles.

These principles work in all areas of life: health, wealth, relationships, and more. When I started applying them, my life changed dramatically.

And when I started teaching these principles to other people, their lives also changed dramatically.

Anyway, I’m going to be teaching this again soon. Attendance will be limited. If you’re interested in joining us, shoot me a DM.
