CampShowBiz FREE Theatre Camp on Warren Amphitheater Stage!

Hey Kids and Parents:

The Oakland Center for Arts Kids First Theater Initiative a non-profit organization is announcing its 8th Annual Camp ShowBiz! FREE! Part of The Marilyn and Harold Davis, Summer Series at its new home Warren Ohio! Funding from the City of Warren, allows this free camp to start June 3, 2024 and Runs through the summer. The camp covers, dance, music, art, and theater. The camp runs Monday through Friday 8:30 to 3:30 and includes breakfast and lunch! A snack, and drinks are also provided. The camp itself will take place at the Warren Amphitheater in downtown Warren! This is an exciting new adventure for the company, using the spectacular outdoor venue! Cost this year is Free! During the camp, we will work on two huge productions. Both fantastic Disney titles, Beauty and the Beast Jr. And Lion King Jr. All kids that participate will automatically be cast in the show. All roles are open, and we need a HUGE cast of girls, and boys, and young adults. The camp is open for kids 5 years old to 18 years old. No experience is needed. We will work around vacation times as needed. This is a year-round program, and upcoming titles and locations will be announced soon about the rest of the Season. These are high caliber Broadway style presentations. The arts professionals who come in contact with the kids (over 100 years combined experience) undergo an extensive background check; no adult is alone with any children at any time! We are excited to be collaborating with Trumbull Art Guild (TAG) for the arts portion of our camp. Again, there is no cost this year for the camp! Come join in the fun! The Oakland Center for the Arts providing quality entertainment to the Mahoning Valley for the last 38 years.
