This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION, leaving a chance for the winning bidder to STEAL this luxury SUV for just pennies on the dollar. <br /> <br /> PARTS ALONE are worth more than what this car will likely sell for. While the car runs and drives great, even if it blew up tomorrow, just the parts alone would bring someone a nice profit on this car. The simple bolt off stuff could easily bring $10,000 on E-bay (fenders, doors, hood, seats, interior parts which are in mostly great shape, etc, etc. Dig a little deeper and a lot of money could be made off of the transmission, rear end, suspension, etc. Again, car runs and drives great and there&#039;s NO REASON to believe it won&#039;t do so for many more years and miles. Just pointing out the above from an investment standpoint. Can EASILY make a bunch of money on this car if in the very unlikely event something broke by taking off the simple bolt on/off parts and putting them on e-bay. <br /> <br /> I am not a dealer, however, we do have a towing company and therefore come across a lot of Lien Sale vehicles. Most that we get are junkers that we sell at a weekly auction for under $2,000. However, of the cars that come available, we do cherry pick the nicer cars and offer them publicly. If you’ve seen any of my past listings, most go out at very low price points, well below Kelly Blue Book wholesale (trade-in) value. We are more interested in a quick sale than holding out for a few extra dollars.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Here, we have a 2007 Mercedes GL450 4.7 V8 with ALL WHEEL DRIVE with 194,867 miles. With German engineering, these vehicles last a very long time. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Car has a clean title. Carfax does show a rear-end collision way back in 2012 when the car had only 35,000 miles on it. Long since repaired and driven another 160,000 miles since, thus clearly hasn’t been an issue for the past 12 years. No other accidents reported per Carfax. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> While lien sale cars are rarely perfect. This one isn’t perfect either, but, especially for the mileage, is one of the cleanest examples I’ve seen, regardless of whether it is a lien sale or private party owned.<br /> <br /> The body, other than a few minor rock chips and/or scratches and a very select few very small door dings, is perfectly straight. Paint still has some shine to it (would be much better if buffed out and polished with a detail).<br /> <br /> Car appears to have been well cared for and well-maintained per its Carfax history report (available upon request).<br /> <br /> It started its life off in Hawaii and remained there for the first 3 years. The second owner had the car moved to California, where it’s been ever since, thus has been in a favorable southern environment its entire life.<br /> <br /> Tires have good tread on them with a reasonably recent date code from 2020.<br /> <br /> With lien sales, we do have to hang onto cars for approximately 1-2 years before they clear all liens and are available to be sold. The Carfax report reflects that the car was last serviced in 2022. The only error code is related to the passenger side airbag. Other than that, no mechanical error codes, which is rare for Mercedes. Everything else appears t function properly. Radio works. AC blows cold air.<br /> <br /> The car fires right up and runs great.<br /> <br /> As with any of our lien sale cars, we do recommend that the new owner take them in for service as most have been sitting for a year or two. This one was last serviced two years ago.<br /> <br /> I generally include a list of notable problems, but on this car, there really are very few to point out. Most just being minor cosmetic items expected of any 17 year old vehicle. Wheels are in great shape with no curb rash (very rare). No major dents or scratches. <br /> <br /> NOTABLE PROBLEMS OR AREAS THAT NEED ATTENTION, AS DETERMINED BY THE SELLERS PERSONAL WALK-AROUND AND TEST DRIVE OF THE VEHICLE INCLUDE, BUT MAY NOT BE LIMITED TO:<br /> <br /> Some small rock chips around front with on small chip on the right passenger door.<br /> Just a limited few very small door dings noted. Maybe three or four on the left side and one or two on the right side..<br /> Headlights have a bit of fogging on them, but not excessive (see photos / video).<br /> Interior headliner at the far rear by the rear trunk door on the left side is dated and has some sagging, which is common, but has not come off. Normal wear item for this age of vehicle.<br /> Prior owner put seat covers over the lower portion of the seats and on the arm-rests. Cannot guarantee condition of seats underneath, but the backrests are not covered and are in good shape.<br /> Appears the prior owner recently slightly backed into something with the left rear. No dent, but did break off the lower parking lamp and create some scrapes on the bumper cover. Appears to be a very easy fix to replace the parking lamp (not the taillight, which is still in good shape and was not impacted). See photos. <br /> SRS warning regarding the right side air bag code.<br /> Parking brake release latch is broken and needs to be replaced.<br /> Small (1 inch +/-) chip/crack in the upper right side portion of the windshield (could not get it to show in photos). Should be easily repairable by Safelite. They come to you and fix these types of small cracks/chips quickly at very reasonable costs. (Recommended to do so it doesn&#039;t eventually spread and get bigger). <br /> <br /> <br /> Having viewed many of these cars, this is certainly one of the cleaner such cars I’ve come across, especially for a 17 year old car with 194,000 miles. Car fires up just as good as a new one.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> For this to be a really premium example, it really doesn’t need much. Fix the parking lamp and error code for the air bag and it would be free of any mechanical defects. Any remaining items are hardly noticeable and simply cosmetic in nature. Have to look closely to find the small door dings.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Really is a great opportunity to drive a vehicle once priced over $70,000 for pennies on the dollar. Looks exceptionally well for this age and mileage. I’ve seen far worse examples from cars half this one’s age and with 50,000 miles.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> PRICE REFLECTS IT BEING SOLD IN AS-IS CONDITION.
