Everyone says he is rude and arrogant and that's what I don't understand because he is really funny and nice to me since our childhood only he's not arrogant or rude at all.<br /> "Hey where are you lost" Kevin said waving his hand in front of me.<br /> "Where's my gift" I said with my hands on my waist ignoring his question.<br /> "Oh no I forgot about it" he said but continued instantly seeing the anger and sadness in my eyes "Just kidding I have brought your gift but you'll get it afterwards now I have to meet mom so bye stupid" I tried to hit him as he called me stupid again like always but he was already out of the room and I just sighed he knows how to annoy me monkey.<br /> <br /> Actually I can can't handle it but today my friends and cousins were teasing me so much like always that today I turned twenty one but still I'm a baby who doesn't drinks and what not so I decided that today I'll drink and get high as everyone else does.<br /> I walked out of my room to return to the party after using the washroom.<br /> I can barely walk straight because I'm so drunk I bumped into someone or that someone bumped into me ugh my head is spinning.<br /> "Ash why are you so drunk when you know you can't handle it" he scolded me oh its Kevin.<br /> "You are drunk too and you are not my mom to scold me Mr" I said pointing a finger at him "Leave my way I want to enjoy the party" I added.<br /> "I'm not drunk as much as you and I can handle it. And the party is over come I'll help you to your room" he said taking me to my room.<br /> "Here's your gift even though you are not in your sense right now but still I'll give it now only" he said giving me a pendent with bff written on it I loved it it was so beautiful aww he's so nice I looked at him as he did the same and without thinking much I landed my lips on his softly pecking him but I pulled away when he didn't peck me back I felt rejected my eyes got moist and I looked down feeling embarrassed.<br /> "Am I really so ugly that you don't even want to peck me" I said.<br /> He didn't say anything just sealed his lips with mine and the next thing I knew is we both were on the bed.<br /> It just feels so right.<br /> <br /> I groaned in frustration when I felt the bright sun rays hitting on my face waking me up from my peaceful sleep, I opened my eyes but closed them again, I'm feeling a little strange ugh my head is paining badly.<br /> I tried to sit up on the bed and that is when I realized I'm undressed and not alone on the bed as I felt someone's hand on my waist oh god please let it be a dream I wished while turning my head to see who it was and I was shocked to see it was Kevin. And seeing him my brain started to recollect the events of last night.<br /> My headache went out of the window the moment I realized what has happened.<br /> Tears formed in my eyes thinking of last night I can't believe it, I was not in my senses but he was. He could have stopped me but no he took advantage of me and now he is sleeping peacefully, no I won't let him have any kind of peace.<br /> Thinking so I reached for the bottle of water which was kept on the nightstand beside my bed and emptied the whole bottle on Kevin's face.<br /> "Wake up Mr.pig" I yelled with anger.<br /> As I returned from the bathroom after washing my face and getting dressed only to see the room empty to which I was thankful, I wanted to be alone for some time to think straight.<br /> I yelled at Kevin, he must be feeling so bad but he deserves it he broke my dream of having my first time with a guy whom I'll love ugh I hate you Kevin Diaz.<br /> But its not totally his fault, you are at fault too what was the need to peck him if you didn't wanted all this, you were the one who started this, you were the one who was feeling bad when he didn't peck you back and now you are putting all the blame on him alone. You both are equally to be blamed. Maybe your hidden desires for him which you yourself are unaware of came out last night, so stop blaming him alone for all this.<br /> Finally my subconscious finished her long lecture and I sighed.<br /> I don't know what to think anymore. I wish I could rewind my life to last night and stop myself from getting drunk.<br /> I hugged my favorite peach coloured teddy bear, I hug it whenever I'm sad but it didn't help me to forget about the situation, it reminded me about him more because he was the one who brought me this teddy.<br /> I looked at the gift he gave me last night, the pendent which was lying on the nightstand beside my bed and sighed.<br /> Now everything will be really awkward between us oh how am I going to face him again.<br /> I'll have to maintain a safe distance between us now, what happened last night I don't want it to happen again or maybe I want ugh shut up Ashley Lewis.<br /> <br /> What does he thinks of himself, he should say sorry but he said that I'm over reacting, well then go to underworld I don't care you...you monkey huh.<br /> Right now I need someone to talk with, thinking so I dialed Kelly's number.<br /> "Ashley I was about to call you..." I cut her off saying "Kelly can you come over my place I need someone to talk".<br /> "Okay I'll come, but what's wrong" she replied from the other side.<br /> "You just come over I'll tell you everything" I said as tears formed in my eyes making my vision blurry.<br /> "Okay bye I'll be there soon" she replied before hanging up.<br /> After some time Kelly came straight to my room and said "Hey, we never met after your birthday right and by looking at your face I think that there's so much we need to talk about".<br /> "I don't know how to say this but..." I started talking but she cut me off and said "But you need to share it with someone so say".<br /> "Actually I got really drunk on my birthday night and then Kevin and me I mean we..." I trailed off not knowing how to say, what will she think about me if she knows.<br /> "Oh my god you slept with Kevin, you finally did it kiddo" she said excited with her eyes wide open.<br /> "I'm so worried and here you are all excited" I replied with my face in my palms.<br /> "Why are you worrying yourself so much, it's not a big deal, girl it's twenty first century you need to grow up" she said while taking my hands away from my face.<br /> "Well maybe you are right" I replied looking down, she's right maybe I'm just over reacting.<br /> "Look at me" she said and I looked up at her as she continued "So tell me every single detail, how was your hot Kevin on bed huh" with a teasing look while winking at me.<br /> "Kelly" I yelled as my face flushed and started hitting her with the pillow playfully as she ran around the room with me chasing behind her.<br /> <br /> "Ashley where are you going" I heard my mom's voice from the dining room as I was about to go out of the house.<br /> "I'm going shopping with Kelly and then maybe I'll stay at her place tonight" I said as I entered the dining room and I pecked my dad's cheek saying "Good morning".<br /> "Good morning Princess" he replied while drinking his coffee.<br /> "No, today I have invited Kevin and Matthew to dinner so don't go anywhere okay" mom said strictly as I sat on one of the chairs.<br /> "Kevin is back" I asked with surprise.<br /> "Yeah he came this morning" dad replied.<br /> I didn't knew he's back. Speaking of Kevin, I have decided to forget that night and be friend with him again. In fact I have really missed him and he didn't even called me once huh arrogant monkey.<br /> "Bye mom, dad" I said as I remembered that Kelly must be waiting for me.<br /> "But atleast have breakfast then you can go" mom said passing me the plate filled scrambled eggs.<br /> "Ugh no I'm leaving" I replied as the eggs smell hit my nose making me feel that I'll puke any second and I quickly kept my palm on my nose to block the smell and made my way out. Once I used to love eggs but now a days don't know what's wrong with me.<br /> "What happened to her" I heard dad's faint voice ask mom as I got out of the house and took a deep breath.<br /> "Get in the car" Kelly said and I got in her car.<br /> "I told you that I'll come to pick you then why did you came here" I said as she drove the car towards wherever we are going.<br /> "Oh now I can't even come to my little sister's house" she replied with fake hurt look.<br /> "Where are we going by the way" I asked.<br /> "I think first we should go to eat something because I didn't had breakfast and then shopping" she replied.<br /> "No first shopping" I said and we got into an argument about that but soon she gave up.<br /> "I won" I said laughing.<br /> "Such a kiddo" she teased and I frowned at her.<br /> Soon we reached the mall and attacked the stores. It's Kelly who wanted to go shopping and she bought lots of things while I bought only few things as I got bored and started to feel really hungry.<br /> "Kelly let's go eat something I'm really hungry" I said.<br /> "Okay wait I'll try this one and then we'll go" she replied showing me a dress.<br /> "Okay then I'm going" I said.<br /> "Okay okay let's go" she replied stopping me from going.<br /> Soon we were in a restaurant and Kelly was ordering for herself "And you'll have scrambled eggs like always right" she asked as I usually have eggs for breakfast.<br /> I shook my head in denial and ordered something else.<br /> "What is it" Kelly asked looking at me pointedly.<br /> "I don't know from past few days I have been feeling nausea and..." but she cut me off.<br /> "And you feel like your head is spinning" she said thinking something.<br /> "No, I was saying that I feel more sleepy then before" I replied casually as our order came and I started eating while Kelly was still thinking deeply.<br /> "Don't tell me that you are pregnant" she suddenly said in a low voice and I almost choked.<br /> "What are you saying stupid" I replied with wide eyes.<br /> "You are stupid to not understand these symptoms, do you realize that maybe you are pregnant" she said making me realize that maybe she's right.<br /> "Don't worry it's just a guess maybe you are not, let's go to a doctor to confirm okay" she said as I stopped eating and was quite for sometime.<br /> Soon we were at the hospital sitting in the doctor's cabin and the doctor said that they'll need to do some tests. After the tests we waited for the test reports and soon it came.<br /> "Well your doubts were true, you are pregnant" the doctor said while looking through the reports.<br /> And I didn't hear what she said any further as my mind went blank. You are pregnant the words were still ringing in my head.<br /> "Come on let's go" Kelly shook me and I nodded.<br /> "You are okay" she asked as we sat in the car but she didn't start driving yet.<br /> I shook my head as tears formed in my eyes and she took me in a tight hug.<br /> "It's okay don't cry" she said.<br /> "What will I say to mom and dad, they'll be so angry" I replied in a low voice.<br /> "No one can be angry on you, you know that too right everything will be fine don't worry" she said pulling away.<br /> "It's Kevin's right" she asked after few minutes.<br /> "You know I didn't slept with anyone other then him and that too was a mistake. So isn't it obvious" I said and suddenly remembered Kevin.<br /> "Oh my god what will I do Kevin is coming for dinner today at my home he'll definitely be mad at me if he knows" I panicked.<br /> "No he wouldn't be, just calm down you'll tell him and your parents today only okay" she said.<br /> "No I won't tell them today I need sometime" I replied quickly.<br /> "Okay, but do you want this baby" she asked making me think if I want the baby or not.<br /> "I don't know, let's just go home" I said unsure.<br /> Soon we reached my home and I asked Kelly to stay for dinner to which she agreed. I totally avoided my mom who asked what happened looking at my sad face.<br /> Kelly and I talked about some random things the whole afternoon and that made me forget about the situation atleast for now.<br /> It was almost dinner time but me and Kelly were still in my room as I didn't wanted to go down.<br /> "Ash" I heard Kevin's excited voice from downstairs and soon there was a knock on the door.<br /> "He's here" I whispered to myself nervously as Kelly opened the door and left us alone as Kevin came in.<br /> "Hey" I said with a fake smile.<br /> "So finally your anger melted down, I'm so happy you are talking to me normally again and I'm really sorry for everything" he said smiling happily and sat beside me on my bed taking me in a tight hug. I'm not sure if I should be mad at him or not but I hugged him back as I needed my friend.<br /> "We should go down" I said pulling away trying to avoid looking in his eyes and talking much with him.<br /> "Okay" he replied although he looked surprised and suspicious.<br /> I sighed, I hope this dinner goes just fine.<br /> "So Ashley now that you have completed your graduation what are you planning to do further" uncle Matthew asked as we all were sitting together having dinner. Kevin is sitting beside me, oh what was the need for him to sit just beside me.<br /> "I have not decided anything yet" I replied, well how can I decide about my future when all I'm worried about is this pregnancy and their reactions when they'll get to know.<br /> "Ashley I want you to meet a boy and then if you like him we'll get you married to him" my dad said or should I say dropped a bomb over me. Here I'm so worried and they want me to marry great.<br /> "So this is the important thing you wanted to talk about" Kevin asked my mom with a shocked expression.<br /> "Yeah, your dad knows that boy too" She replied to him and then turned to uncle Matthew and continued "You remember Mr.David right it's his son, we think he'll be good for Ashley".<br /> Kevin looked at me as if to see my reaction he looked kind of angry but I looked down and this whole marriage thing made me remember a conversation with my parents and uncle Matthew, about one year back.<br /> My mom and dad called me and Kevin together one day, they said the wanted to talk about something important and as I reached the living room I saw that uncle Matthew was there too.<br /> "What do they want to talk about, did you do something" I asked Kevin in a whisper.<br /> "I'm not a kiddo like you to do something for which my parents will call me like this to scold" he replied and I frowned at him.<br /> "So why did you called us together, what do you want to talk about" Kevin asked his dad.<br /> "We all were thinking to get you both married, since you both know each other from childhood we think that you'll be good for each other" uncle Matthew said as we sat down on the sofa.<br /> "Yeah and we know you Kevin since you were a kid so we can trust you that you'll keep our daughter happy" my mom said.<br /> "And we are not asking you both to get married right now, maybe in one or two years" my dad said.<br /> "Dad why do you want to punish me like this, who will marry this fatty" Kevin teased me as usual.<br /> "Oh as if you are a prince of somewhere, I also don't want to marry a monkey like you" I replied and we kept fighting like that ignoring our parents who were shaking their head at us.<br /> And then that topic never came up.<br /> "Ashley say something" I snapped out of my thoughts hearing my mom's voice.<br /> "What" I asked.<br /> "I was asking that do you agree to meet that boy" mom said.<br /> But before I could deny Kevin spoke "I don't think that boy is good for her".<br /> "How can you say that when you don't even know him Kevin" uncle Matthew said.<br /> "Dad I'm sure she doesn't want this too" Kevin argued back.<br /> "Okay then let's ask her only" mom said then looking at me she continued "Tell us, what do you want".<br /> I looked at Kelly for help and she mouthed "Tell them" and then I looked at Kevin who didn't looked happy.<br /> "I'm...I don't want to marry" I said nervously looking down as everyone's eyes were on me waiting for me to say something.<br /> "But why" mom and dad both asked together.<br /> "Ashley we just want you to be happy, meet him once he's a good boy" mom tried to convince me.<br /> "No mom, I don't want to marry" I replied and Kelly gave me a look again.<br /> "Okay fine, but why" mom asked and now I think it's the time they should know that truth before this marriage conversation goes any further.
