2020 KTM 790 Adventure R - $12,990.00<br /> <br /> 2020 KTM 790 ADVENTURE R with Extras and Low 2300 Mileage $12,990<br /> <br /> For sale is my 2020 KTM 790 Adventure R. It has very low mileage, approx 2300 miles and counting, lots of tasty accessories and has been garaged in a climate-controlled environment almost it’s entire life. I am the original owner and have maintained it with regular service and have had the dealer perform all the scheduled maintenance services to keep the warranty up to date. The warranty is out now so we’re on our own there.<br /> <br /> It has been mostly ridden on-road. Less than two miles off-road on gravel and hard packed dirt. Never down while moving. Fell over once on the grass while just pushing it around the yard. No damage or evidence of any damage.<br /> <br /> Been riding bikes for 56 years now and I am down-sizing my bike collection as I age-out over 70. For riding in the dirt now, I am moving into ATV’s that don’t necessarily fall over when I stop. Maybe a little less likely to get hurt on one of those. <br /> <br /> This 790 is an awesome bike and I have solved the main problem area that has been difficult from the start and finally addressed by KTM on the newer models. This is the wind buffeting from the windshield area. I have tried many different windshields (at considerable expense) over the past few years and finally found a combination that works well and has no buffeting at all. All the previous windshields are included in the sale of the bike as are all the seats I have tried. I have the original seat, the low seat, and the Seat-Concepts seat which is on the bike right now and my favorite. I have the cruise control unlocked, and the quick shifter, and the heated grips all work too.<br /> <br /> The bike has many expensive and very functional add-on accessories installed that will be included with the bike and all the original equipment and exhaust system will also go with the bike. <br /> <br /> Consequently, the price of this bike will reflect to some relatively small degree the added expense of those accessories. However, I can remove them if a potential buyer doesn’t want them. But in my opinion that would be a mistake as these are functional items that enhance the performance and protection for the bike and not necessarily cosmetic. The crash-bars weren’t necessary for protection but there was nowhere else to add some highway pegs. These pegs turned out be very comfortable on long stretches of road.<br /> <br /> On a side note, I was going to keep the mount for my Garmin Zumo XT. After considering the difficulty of removing the wiring from the headlight I decided to leave it with the bike. I will have to add that to the list. I strongly suggest the future owner to take advantage of having this mount on the bike.<br /> <br /> The accessories….<br /> 1. Scotts steering stabilizer… $537.00<br /> 2. LOL.<br /> <br /> So, the Kelly Blue book price of the bike $12,195<br /> Cycle trader value $11,000<br /> NADA / JD Power value $10,975 Average is $11,590.00<br /> +$5,942 in accessories<br /> =Approx $17,532 total invested in this bike<br /> <br /> Accessories have been discounted to 30 cents on the dollar then added to the average of the blue-book values for an asking price of…$12,990.00.
