Body | I have learned much from the enormous amount of comments from my recent postings.

My main concern was of my own Pharmacy Technician program and the over-pricing of Pharmacy Technician programs where tuition can be from $500 to $40,000 depending on whom is offering this program. Especially when the two national exams PTCB and NHA require an approved program to take their national exam or working in a pharmacy setting a number of hours within an accepted pharmacy setting for a number of hours. For some, due to personal reasons, a Pharmacy Technician program is their only avenue.

As mentioned in several comments, there are states and employers who do not require national certification from these organizations which would allow the bypassing of these over-priced Pharmacy Technician programs. Realize though the possibility of having to be nationally certified may happen in the future and Pharmacy Technicians should be prepared for that.

Many comments shared the requirements to be a Pharmacy Technician before 2020 when PTCB and NHA before applied these new rules. As myself, yes studying on your own was the way to go and so very much more affordable.

I now understand why my own PTCB recognized program, Tech Lectures, is considered not as good as other programs. This has mainly due to the low tuition I offer of $400. I can only say I have been doing this since 1999 with a high success rate. My program is PTCB recognized and I offer the same guarantee of passing the national exams as all of those other high priced programs.

I now understand why my own PTCB recognized program, Tech Lectures, is not worth looking into. This has mainly due with the low tuition I offer of $400 This is viewed by most and accepted as a scam or a dishonest scheme or an attempt to defraud. This causes many to bypass what I offer and seek out a more costly program that must be legitimate because much money is needed in tuition.

One comment shared an analogy of a homes in a neighborhood where the selling price averages $420,000 and I was selling mine for $120,000. The first reaction is what is wrong with this house? More importantly why bother to see what is offered.

To explain why my program is less priced is mainly about my 15 years as a pharmacy technician and, and due to this, having an understanding in feelings, experiences and emotions and concern for the Pharmacy Technician profession and in this case, for those who do not have the financial resources and would otherwise be unable to follow their dream of being a Pharmacy Technician. This is a difficult concept to understand when other programs ask so very much more tuition.

With this said, I will continue my program for $400 and hope a miracle occurs. Maybe someone on this forum of over 41,000 pharmacy technicians, will help me by informing others interested in an affordable Pharmacy Technician program to check this program out. Maybe not.

https://www.tlectures.com/index2.html |
