If you’ve seen any of my past listings, most go out at very low price points, well below Kelly Blue Book wholesale (trade-in) value. We are more interested in a quick sale than holding out for a few extra dollars.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Here, we have a late model 2016 Ford F-150 4x2 Supercrew Pickup with 93,053 miles (under 12,000 per year).<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> XLT model with split bench from seat (can seat up to 6 people). 3.5 V6. 3:55 rear gear ratio. Sirius XM radio. 23 Gallon Fuel Tank. Flex Fuel Vehicle.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> While lien sale vehicles are rarely perfect. This one isn’t perfect either, but certainly well better than average in its appearance.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This thing runs like silk. Fires right up, idles perfectly smooth, drives great. 93,000 miles for these trucks is nothing.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This truck however, was used as a “work truck” for its prior owner. From 10 feet back, it’s a cool looking truck as it appears that the prior owner put in a small lift kit, along with custom 20” wheels and Mud terrain tires. While it is only a 4x2, it looks like a cool 4x4. The most notable impact of it being a work truck comes in the bed and tailgate areas. There are several scratches along both sides. No major dents, but a few dings. From the cab forward, the body is pretty straight with just a couple of small door dings. With the desirable Charcoal Grey color, it’s a great looking truck. For someone that want’s something looks perfect, do a little body and paint work to the bed and this thing would look pretty good.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The rear bumper is a bit used up with a slight dent on the left side of just the chrome bumper and the center plastic is warped. Likely could find a clean used bumper on Ebay for cheap, if this is important to you.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> It has a built-in rack in the back bed. There is a dated bed liner in the truck.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> It is a two-owner vehicle. First owner purchased it in 2016 and sold it after 16,690 miles. Second owner purchased it in 2017.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Per its Carfax history report (available upon request), a door lock actuator was replaced in 2021.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> It has been California owned since new.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Tires still have good tread on them.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Rear windows are tinted.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> With lien sales, we do have to hang onto cars for approximately 1-2 years before they clear all liens and are available to be sold. The Carfax report reflects that the car was last serviced at in 2021. There are a few error codes that come up, however, they “appear” to be related to the custom wheels and tires on the truck. Appears to not have tire pressure sensors, which can impact other aspects, noting that hill-start assist does not work. Parking brake has limited function. Service Advance Trac (traction control), all commonly impacted by swapping wheels and tires with different sizes and not having the truck re-programmed for its new tire size. However, I can’t be certain this is the reason. Simply is a guess based on past experiences.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> There are no other error codes or warnings on the dash.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The truck fires right up and runs great. Idles very smoothly. Drives great. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> As with any of our lien sale cars, we do HIGHLY recommend that the new owner take them in for service as most have been sitting for a year or two. This one was last in for service in 2021, per the Carfax report.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Have considered keeping this truck as a personal vehicle as I personally love the look of the slightly lifted truck with off-road oriented wheels / tires. For my personal tastes, it’s a cool looking truck.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The interior does also show that it was a work truck. It has some excess wear. Most notable is the driver’s outer seat bolster is torn. The prior owner installed another screen above the original radio, which does provide a back-up camera. The prior owner cut a hole below the AC vent, apparently to mount something. Once removed, left an unattractive hole. Can either install something over it, or likely find a used plastic surround piece on Ebay for low cost. There’s also a magnetic phone mount just below that hole. The tray below the center console does not say closed. Again, likely a cheap part that can be found on Ebay. Right side center AC vent is broken. Another cheap Ebay part. Seats have some stains in the them. It has old rubber floor mats. Center console lid on fold down armrest for front bench seat does not stay closed when in its upright position. Appears the interior could be cleaned up rather easily with a little shopping for parts that should be easy to find on ebay.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Windshield is shattered and needs to be replaced.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> NOTABLE PROBLEMS OR AREAS THAT NEED ATTENTION, AS DETERMINED BY THE SELLERS PERSONAL WALK-AROUND AND TEST DRIVE OF THE VEHICLE INCLUDE, BUT MAY NOT BE LIMITED TO:<br /> <br /> Several paint scratches on the bed / tailgate areas. Some dings and minor dents in the same areas.<br /> Dent in left side of rear chrome bumper with worn out plastic center piece.<br /> Minor scratches found in other areas of the truck.<br /> Windshield shattered on right side and needs to be replaced.<br /> Interior is worn and several areas could use cosmetic updates to replace cheap plastic pieces (see details noted above).<br /> Older bedliner.<br /> Some warnings on dashboard (see notes above). Possibly all related to the custom wheels and tires on the truck.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Having viewed many of these trucks, this is certainly one of the coolest looking ones due to the minor lift kit and custom wheels and off-road oriented tires. Bed and tailgate are a little beat up, but not horrible. From 10 feet back, you hardly notice it. Looks more like water streaks rather than scratches.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> For this to be a really premium example, it doesn’t need all that much. Fix the couple body work on the bed and tailgate, paint over those areas accordingly and replace the cheap plastic pieces inside that are broken or damaged, an this truck would be really nice overall.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> All issues appear to be cosmetic in nature. Mechanically, it “appears” to be in great shape based on the way it runs and drives. If you’re going to use it as a “work truck”, then it’s probably perfect the way it is. If you want it as a nice daily driver / lifestyle type truck, then maybe spend a couple of thousand on it and it would fit the bill there too.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Only pressing issue is the windshield needs to be replaced.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> PRICE REFLECTS IT BEING SOLD IN AS-IS CONDITION.
