I taught myself a lot of stuff and if it weren't for my wolf guiding me as well I don't know what would have been of me . <br /> " Hello young lady , welcome to Lucy's diner what can I get started for you " said a sweet older women as soon as I walked in . <br /> " Hi there , could I get a hot chocolate please " I said with a smile as I sat down in the corner closest to the door in case anything happened and I needed to get out. <br /> I grabbed the menu that was on the table and looked over all the food options , causing my mouth to water and my stomach to start growling . <br /> " Here you go sweetie , are you ready to order " she said placing my hot chocolate in front of me as she looked at me with a sweet smile . <br /> " Yes ma'am can I just get an order of pancakes " I said with a smile knowing that's all I could afford at the moment , I was running out of money and who knew when I would have the next chance to get more . <br /> " Are you sure you don't want anything else sweetheart " said the sweet old lady . <br /> " yes ma'am that's it for me thank you " I said giving her a smile . <br /> She just smiled and left , I took a sip of my hot chocolate and almost moaned at how good it tasted , either that or because I hadn't eaten anything in two days . After 15 minutes the doorbell on top of the door rang as someone opened it , I looked up seeing 3 men walk in . I tensed up but the sweet lady had put the food in front of me , I looked down to see pancakes , eggs and sausage . <br /> " it's on the house " was all she said with a smile as she walked away . I took a bite of the pancakes with caution as I could feel the men starting at me . <br /> I could see them from the corner of my eye looking at me , I decided it was best for me too just leave now . I looked down at the delicious food with disappointment. <br /> I quickly took out $10 and left them on the table as I casually walked out of the diner , but not with out saying thank you to the sweet lady . γ<br /> I walked down the street and behind some buildings trying to get back into the forest . <br /> Next thing I knew I felt a slight pain as I felt a needle go into my neck as I felt myself falling .<br /> I gripped my head as I felt like I had been hit by a bat 100 times , I tried to get up but felt my arms get pulled back . I slowly opened my eyes and looked down to see I had chains around my wrists and it connected to the brick wall behind me . " god " . Was all I could say . <br /> How had I come this far just to get trapped all thanks to a needle, This so so disappointing. <br /> " We will be ok " said my wolf Emory . <br /> " How can you say that when we are literally trapped in a dungeon " I said back to her. <br /> I looked up as I heard doors being opened , soon i heard some foot steps coming down the hallway . Soon I saw one of the boys that was at the diner . <br /> " You're finally awake , Why are you on blue moon territory " said the man . <br /> " In what ?? I was just passing by just trying to eat " was all I said . <br /> " why don't you smell like a regular wolf , you have no scent " asked the unknown man . <br /> " I don't know what you're talking about " was all I said<br /> " Tell that to my alpha when he gets back " was all he said as he nodded and left. <br /> What is up with these people , all I did was stop by to get some pancakes which I didn't even get to finish . <br /> As soon as he left the other dude looked at me and opened the door and made sure to shut it behind him . <br /> " Are you sure you don't want to answer ? Because when my alpha gets here it will be way worse on you " said the man as he looked me up and down . <br /> That seemed to hit a nerve because soon he punched me across my face causing my head to slam against the wall behind me . I had never seen anyone that carried so much on there shoulders . He looked at me with zero emotion I watched as he looked me up and down with disgust? Ouch. <br /> " Mate Mate Mate " Emory started yelling in my head. <br /> I wish the earth would open up right under me and swallow me whole , I spent my whole life running just to die by the person that was supposed to help me . Maybe he will help me ... by killing me . <br /> He looked at me one last time and then looked at stranger 1 from what I could tell they were mind linking and then walked away . Not once looking my way .<br /> Grayson's POV <br /> " We caught a rogue " said Colby my beta. <br /> " I'll be down later, I'm busy " was all I said closing the link. <br /> After signing some more papers I decided to head down and check on that mutt that crossed into my territory. <br /> I walked out my office and out my front door and headed down the pathway that led me to the dungeons. As I opened the door the scent hit me like a slap to my face . <br /> I Walked down the halls as the smell got stronger , I ignored my beta and the warrior and went straight to the door . I looked down at the girl in front of me , she had long brown hair and some beautiful Blue eyes . <br /> " Mate Mate Mate " said silver my wolf <br /> I looked at Colby, " My office now " was all I said as I walked down the hallway and out of the dungeon . I ran my fingers through my hair already feeling the stress . <br /> I walked into my office and waited for Colby to come up. <br /> " What happened man " was all he said as he looked at me . <br /> " She's my mate " was all I said . <br /> " Whaβ- how ?? " he said as he sat down looking as confused as I was . <br /> " That's what I want to know, How is this possible " I said slamming my fist on the desk. <br /> " Do you think ... Someone sent her? I was starting to feel the affects of not eating those delicious pancakes . <br /> I looked up as I heard the door open and I heard footsteps coming down the hallway , and by the way my heart jumped I'm guessing it's my mate. Soon I saw him and he opened the door . I thought he was coming to get me out but boy was I wrong . <br /> He came up to me and wrapped his hand around my neck tightly , now I would have been turned on if it was for the fact I was starting to loose air . <br /> " Who sent you? " Was all he asked. <br /> " What? " was all I could ask . But I was starting to loose air and his hold on my neck was just getting tighter . And the sparks I was feeling everywhere were making me even more overwhelmed.<br /> " Who sent you , and why do you smell as if you were my mate " was all he asked again getting angrier . <br /> " I don- don't know what you're β- " was all I got to say as I felt myself passing out . <br /> " Grayson ! , you're going to kill her " I heard stranger 1 say . <br /> He looked down at me before letting go of my neck and throwing me harshly on the ground . I quickly grabbed my neck finally getting some air . I gasped for air a couple times still feeling like I had his hands around my neck . <br /> " She looks like she's being honest , look at her " stranger 1 said . They both looked down at me and watched me for a while . <br /> " There's Just no way " was all he said still looking at me . He then bent down and ran a finger down my arm causing me to shiver and sparks to run down my arm and throughout my body . <br /> " Graysonβ- " he started but was cut off . <br /> " They are there Colby " was all he said. Hmmm so strangers 1 name is Colby. And my mate was Grayson , hmmm . <br /> " you know if it was a witch you wouldn't have been able to feel the sparks as much as you do , they wouldn't have been as strong as real ones . " said Colby . <br /> " I know " was all he said as he looked down at me . <br /> Soon after they left without saying a word and once again I was left with pain all over my body . <br /> After what I believe to have been 2 days Colby came down here opened the door and told me to follow him . <br /> I cautiously got up and limped his way , my body was weak from not getting any food and plus when Grayson threw me down I think he hurt something and I've been dealing with this pain for the past 2 days . <br /> I saw as he frowned his eyebrows seeing as I was limping and weak . He patiently waited for me until finally he sighed and just came and picked me up causing me to flinch away from him due to the pain I was feeling through my whole body . <br /> " What happened to you ? " he asked but I just ignored him and stayed silent . He let out a sigh and looked down at me. <br /> " Look I'm sorry for leaving you down here and for what that other dude did to you , but we had strict orders not to get you out yet . And as of that man he got taken care of . " he said . <br /> I just stayed silent not once looking at him , I did not need apologies from him , he technically hadn't done anything to me , who needed to come and apologize was Grayson . <br /> " So what's your real name " was all he asked . <br /> " Lucy " was all I said back.<br /> " come on we both know that's not your real name " he said.<br /> " Yes, it is " I said raising a brow at him. <br /> " No it isn't " he said again. <br /> " How are you going to tell me my name isn't Lucy when it 100% is " I said back . <br /> He just stared at me with a face waiting for me to tell him my real name . <br /> " Adeline " I whispered. <br /> " Adeline.. Nice , you got a last name Adeline? " he asked . <br /> " I don't know what my last name is " I said getting sad at the fact I don't know what my last name is . <br /> He just looked down at me and didn't say anything believing what I said .<br /> Soon he led me out the door and onto a path , I covered my eyes the sun being too bright for my poor eyes that hadn't seen the light in four days .<br /> After 5 minutes of walking he led me to a beautiful 2 story White House , I just admired every bit of it . I had never been inside a beautiful home like this . I've only ever stayed in the woods on the ground or once in a while I would stay in cheap motels . <br /> He walked through the front door and in front of me stood a big stair case that led up to what looked like a hallway filled with doors . <br /> He walked up the stairs and went down the hallways and made a left turn and took me to the last door I looked behind him and noticed another door right in front but all the way on the other side . <br /> " This is your room , you have clothes in the closet and everything you could need is in the bathroom " said Colby . <br /> " Thank you " was all I said as he set me down on my feet causing me to bite my lip hard as to not make a sound .<br /> After 30 minutes of untangling my hair I brushed my teeth and jumped onto the nice comfy looking bed , and fuckkkk was this comfortable. This was definitely way better then the hard forest grounds . I wrapped the blanket around me and before I knew it I was drifting off to sleep .<br /> I quickly stood up gripping my head from the pain that ran down my body as I made a fast movement. I wiped away the tears that were falling down my face . Once again I was having the same dream I had every night . <br /> My mom telling me to run and find my mate , but now it was different . Because I had found him and here I am still having the same nightmares . <br /> Except this time I could see her face less , I was forgetting her .... <br /> I pulled the blanket closer to me as I hugged it and cried into it silently, even after being alone in the dark woods I still learned to quietly cry and not make a sound . <br /> Finally deciding to get up and make me some food now that I was getting hungry , I went into the bathroom and quickly washed my face . <br /> I went down the stairs and found my way back into the kitchen and opened the fridge seeing what I could make myself to eat . <br /> I pulled out some chicken I found and looked through the pantry to see what I could make . I pulled out some pasta and some Alfredo sauce , I looked to make sure nothing was expired and then started looking for stuff to season my chicken with , cause we will not have unseasoned chicken. <br /> I started preparing everything and after almost an hour everything was almost done , I checked the oven to see if my bread was nice and cooked and it was so I pulled it out . Just as I was pulling it out I heard someone clear there throat causing me to almost burn myself and drop the bread . <br /> I looked to where the sound came from and there stood Grayson looking around uncomfortably . <br /> After a while of us just standing there I finally decided to speak . <br /> " Would you like some dinner ? I just made it " I asked him . <br /> " okay " was all he said as he grabbed a plate and started putting food in two plates as I grabbed the plate with the bread and set it down on the dining table . I went back in and got us some of the drink I had made . <br /> When I got back I noticed he put my plate down opposite of him , on the other side of the table . I just ignored the hurt I felt seeing this and just sat down . I looked down seeing he gave me way too much food and I wasn't even that hungry anymore . <br /> Ughh all my heard work for me to not even be able to enjoy It . I looked down at the food and grabbed a piece of bread and just started tearing pieces and eating it . I finally decided to take a bite of the pasta and Jesus Christ could I cook. This tasted amazing , don't ask me how I knew to make this when I've lived in the forest my whole life . <br /> " why are you a rouge , what Did you do " asked Grayson out of nowhere . I just starred at him trying to figure out what was going through his head at this very moment . <br /> " I didn't do anything " I said again . <br /> " i dont believe you " was all he said . <br /> I just picked my plate up and took it back into the kitchen and just decided to put it in the fridge . And Jesus Christ was that the worst thing I could have done in that moment . <br /> " A switch seemed to have flipped because he looked madder then before if that was even possible and he grabbed the glass out my hand and smashed it above my head . I felt as the pieces of glass fell on my head cutting me . <br /> He grabbed my wrist next and gripped it hard I just looked him in the eyes the whole time , as he continued to grip my wrist tighter I could feel that he was about to brake my wrist but not once did I loose eye contact with him . Even through the tears that were starting to come down my face . <br /> " Grayson " I heard from the right causing him to look and finally release me . I just walked away ignoring Colby and ran up the stairs . Instead of healing I could feel my body getting weaker by the day . <br /> I went into my bathroom in my room to examine my head , I had some cuts but they weren't too bad . I looked down at my wrist and saw how purple it was , my wrists looked so small in his hand , I really thought my wrist was going to snap , and it would have if it weren't for Colby . I owe him one . <br /> I decided to just call it a day and go lay in my bed , after hours of just laying there I finally felt my self drifting off to sleep . |
