NO ❌<br /> <br /> Frustrating? YES!<br /> <br /> Afterall, women know their body and know when something feels off.<br /> <br /> I get it: I was once there myself! <br /> <br /> My name is Brittany Heyden. I have been in healthcare for over 20 years and am a nurse practitioner and functional medicine coach. I empower women to optimize their health and well-being by reducing toxicity within the body, promoting renewal and restoration of cellular health and vitality so you can be exquisitely you from the inside out! <br /> <br /> Although things are great for me now, it was once much different. I was challenged with debilitating fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, skin issues, migraines, and a lot more!<br /> <br /> In my 30’s my health began to go downhill and I mean badly! I was so sick, I could barely function throughout the day. <br /> <br /> I WAS EXHAUSTED!! <br /> <br /> I would drink coffee all day long, crash at 4pm when I would get home from work, take a nap, make supper, and then go right to bed as fast as I could. <br /> <br /> I never felt rested. I would sleep 8-10 hours a night and could nap all weekend long. <br /> It took everything for me to just make it through the day. <br /> <br /> I felt like I was failing as a mom because I was too tired to go outside and play with my girls. I was too tired to take them on vacations or even out for a girls day date. <br /> <br /> And if I did get brave and we went somewhere for the day, it would take me all week to recover!<br /> <br /> House chores were put on the backburner because honestly, I didn’t feel like cooking or cleaning, I was too tired. <br /> <br /> I would pass on plans for the evening with friends because I just didn’t feel well. <br /> <br /> And my relationship with my husband…well, it was definitely rocky! I had no libido and being intimate just felt like another chore that I didn’t have the time or energy for.<br /> <br /> All I wanted to do was sleep! 😴<br /> <br /> On top of the extreme exhaustion, I was forgetting how to complete simple innate tasks such as walking up stairs.<br /> <br /> IT was SCARY! What was happening to me? 😱<br /> <br /> I just wanted to feel like myself again! <br /> <br /> I wanted to get through the day without falling in a heap by the time I got home because I couldn’t function anymore. <br /> <br /> I wanted to enjoy spending time with my girls and husband, participate in life and be the fun mom I was created to be! I wanted to go out with friends, take vacations and not dread the consequences, because any extra activity completely wiped me out! <br /> <br /> I wanted my life back! <br /> <br /> I went to specialists, had tons of testing done, and tried so many different medications but nothing ever helped! In fact, some even made me feel worse. I was offered antidepressants to help my moods, reminded I was a mom and had a demanding, stressful career, encouraged to eat right and exercise, and nap when I could. <br /> <br /> No one really could tell me why my body was failing. <br /> <br /> But, I wanted an answer!<br /> <br /> So after struggling for nearly 10 years with chronic fatigue, brian fog, and all my other symptoms (including respiratory and cardiac problems), I made an unexpected discovery. 🎉<br /> <br /> I learned about 3 major factors contributing to my health issues and yes, even my respiratory and cardiac problems! <br /> <br /> I was shocked! I had never learned about this as a healthcare professional and none of the doctors I went to had mentioned this as a possibility either. <br /> <br /> Once I embraced this discovery, I dove into research and learning all I could about the body and the stressors that contributed to me feeling exhausted, burnt out, frazzled, moody, desperate, and defeated. <br /> <br /> Because if this was happening to me, I knew it had to be happening to other women and I wanted to help them address and manage the same issues: chronic fatigue, brain fog, digestive problems, hormonal imbalances, moodiness, and other health problems.<br /> <br /> Naturally, I was surprised by my own results.
