My parents were there for me too ; they cared and loved me just like any pair of parents would. But that all changed when it was our birthday.<br /> It has been said that on your twelfth birthday you change into your wolf. And they always said that the first change was the most painful one. Well Kevin, Kelly and I were so excited to change into our inner wolfs and we were happy to do it together. That night Kevin and Kelly changed and I was there with them every step of the way. They cried in pain for what seemed like forever but when they were finally their wolves it was like they were breathing for the first time. Their fur was brown and black ; they got it from my dad who was a black wolf and my mom who was brown. I automatically imagined myself being the same as them and therefore I was ecstatic to change that night. But only I hadn&#039;t changed that night or the next day or the next year.<br /> No one understood what happened. We went to several doctors and therapists thinking that maybe there was something wrong with me or something that was preventing me from changing. But the doctors and therapists found nothing. They said I was perfectly fine. They had no answers and no explanations as to what was wrong with me. We finally gave up and just began to wait for something. But that something never came.<br /> Quickly over time, my parents soon weren&#039;t loving towards me, they thought I was a shame to the family because I hadn&#039;t changed, my brother and sister abandoned me, now that I wasn&#039;t &quot;normal &quot; in their eyes. I was completely alone. That&#039;s when insults were thrown at me and soon enough violence. I was pushed against lockers, beaten for no apparent reason. I was the puppet and they controlled the strings.<br /> I became weak and fragile, no longer the strong girl I once was.<br /> But on my 15th birthday I finally changed. I screamed in pain and my parents, Kevin, and Kelly came into my room and were finally smiling at me instead of the same look of disgust that they showed me everyday. They were happy that I was changing and I was happy that we could finally be a whole family again. But to my surprise I wasn&#039;t getting any of those things in the end.<br /> <br /> When I finally changed, I expected to change to a brownish blackish color just like Kevin and Kelly had but I didn&#039;t.<br /> Instead I was an all white wolf and on my neck lie a black printing of a gardenia flower.<br /> I was mortified when my family took my full image in, and the same look of disgust and hatred towards me was alive again.<br /> One word echoed through my head: freak.<br /> The bullying got worse. My mother would slap me, her nails digging in my skin. My father would try to choke me and it stored fear in my mind. My brother and sister the ones who were supposed to be connected to me because we were triplets no longer loved me ; instead hatred took its place. My pack was just like them. All the same. No one showed sympathy to me, no one helped me, I had no one.<br /> I was alone and that was an unwanted feeling. Everyday I would ask God why me? But I never got my answer instead I would cry myself to sleep.<br /> My mother replaced me with Kelly and gave her a family heirloom, that was supposed to go to me not her. My father always stood by Kevin but not once did he hold my hand or comfort me ever again.<br /> I was shattered when they did that.<br /> I always thought that my future Alpha, Brad, would make all of it stop but he just joined in. My crush was against me and would suck my sister&#039;s face off. I just know it.<br /> Or do I?<br /> <br /> The alarm rang, I quickly got up.<br /> It was my duty to make breakfast for the pack. Especially today because it was Brad&#039;s, the future Alpha&#039;s birthday. He was turning sixteen and it was the day that he would find his mate.<br /> I was secretly hoping that it would be me but I refused to think that. I didn&#039;t want to get my hopes up only for them to come crashing down.<br /> Finish the breakfast, it’s time to go to school.<br /> As soon as I saw the school after walking two blocks I was instantly nervous. I never knew what I was walking into these days. Sometimes the days were okay and some were just awful. For my sake I hoped that it&#039;d be okay.<br /> I had walked through the school doors with no attack or any object thrown at me, probably because everyone was in class.<br /> I sighed out of relief as I made it safely to my locker, I took this as my chance to take as many books as I could carry for the day. After I was finished I closed my locker and turned around bumping into a hard object, and I soon realized it was a person.<br /> &quot;Sorry,&quot;I muttered looking down.Please don&#039;t hurt me,I thought. I sniffed the air and realized that he was no doubt a werewolf. Without saying anything he reached for my throat and banged me against the lockers. I finally got through and walked out of the school and into the front of the school.<br /> I instantly spotted Brad, the future Alpha, and noticed that all the werewolf girls were throwing themselves at him so that maybe they would be his mate. Although Brad looked as though he was enjoying himself, I became aware that in his eyes he was disappointed. Disappointed that he couldn&#039;t find his mate, his soul mate.<br /> Before I could really think of what he was feeling and try to figure him out. Someone threw me over their shoulder.<br /> I pounded on their back, &quot;Put me down&quot;. I screamed out loud.<br /> Which caused everyone to whip their heads in my direction. I heard the male smirk and he soon put me down but not where I wanted to be. I stood right before Brad, who looked disgusted.<br /> I started to shake uncontrollably and I knew I would change any moment. My pack looked alert and shocked that I was losing it.<br /> My brother took a step closer to me with a hand out to me, as if that would stop me. I growled and he looked shocked just like everyone else.<br /> &quot; Calm down, &quot; a new voice said and I realized that it was Brad.<br /> I whipped around fast and quick and growled a death threatening growl. My fears were no longer held, they were free and no longer my problem.<br /> &quot;No,&quot;my voice was no longer fragile and weak it sounded strong and something that I was starting to admire and that was authority. My voice sounded possessive and I liked it.<br /> &quot; I will not calm down. I am no longer calm and I have no room for calm. So don&#039;t let those words slip out of your mouth again, &quot; I threatened.<br /> He scoffed and I glared at him, that shut him up.<br /> &quot; You will regret this, &quot; I looked into Brad&#039;s eyes. And guilt was clear, so crystal clear in his eyes. He then smirked.<br /> &quot; This is another reason why you could never be my mate, it&#039;s because your insane, &quot; he said. The pack chorused in laughter.<br /> <br /> And at that moment Brad shrugged, and pulled Kelly to him and crashed his lips on hers. It was sloppy and messy and he made his point. My face turned red and I could no longer control myself.<br /> I ran full speed at Brad and Kelly, they turned at the last minute to see me charging at them. I smirked and jumped over their heads at the last second, changing into my white wolf as I was in the air.<br /> The sound of my clothes ripping echoed through my ears as I hit the ground and ran like I never had down the road and entering the woods.<br /> When I got to a river, I knew this was perfect timing to start my first mark of revenge and that was to make them believe that I was dead. I was going to make them pay for what they did. They were going to pay hard. I wasn&#039;t the only one who was going to suffer in all of this.<br /> But before I did anything I put the masking scent on. Then I got to work. The first thing I needed to do was draw some blood.<br /> I saw a sharp stick and tried to cut myself so that way my blood would be in the river. It took a while to get it but I finally got some. My blood was finally in the water and my pack would know it was mine. Next part that would really insure that I was dead and gone was to take my baggy clothes off and make them look ripped.<br /> I ripped up my clothes making them look jig jagged and I knew that my pack would think of the very worst of what happened. I smiled proud of my work. Now the last thing on my list was to howl.<br /> I changed into my wolf first and howled as if I were in pain which I was. That would get their attention and probably look for me quicker.<br /> With that howl I ran into the woods never stopping and never resting. I was determined to get away from them. And onto a better life.<br /> Finally feeling like I ran enough I stopped and lied down on the leaves and grass that was supported as a nice and comfy bed. I closed my eyes and was about to drift off when I heard something alerting me.<br /> I instantly got back up on my feet letting out a growl that I hoped would scare them off.<br /> No one had come out so I released a sigh, but as soon as I did five white wolves came <br /> out, growling at me.<br /> But then out of no where they stopped and their wolf eyes went wide. Great more people who judge.<br /> &#039;But how could they&#039;my she wolf said,&#039;they are like us&#039;.A light clicked on as I became aware that they were indeed pure white wolves. My eyes went wide as well. The one who had been in the middle, disappeared into the woods and came back out with a pair of shorts on. And man can I say that he was hot.<br /> He had dirty blonde hair and had a perfect smile. He was beyond handsome for words.<br /> They all had shocked faces as they saw me and they all were smiling but I didn&#039;t understand why.<br /> &quot;Um I didn&#039;t know that I was passing through another&#039;s territory. My hands were tussling through his hair.<br /> His hands rested on my back and he pulled me closer to his body, and I felt his warmth. Our lips moved in perfect sync and I hadn&#039;t understood why.<br /> My mate was Brad so how could feel this way with Hunter,someone I barely knew. How is <br /> that possible?
