TIME TO GET RAW WITH SOME BIG NEWS! WE’RE MOVING AND WE NEED YOUR HELP FINDING A NEW SPACE. WE HAVE TO MOVE BY JULY 31ST. WE REALLY WANT TO STAY IN THE AREA BUT,. WE&#039;RE COUNTING ON YOU TO HELP MAKE THAT HAPPEN. SO, PLEASE, HIT OUR DMs HARD..... MORE INFO BELOW....<br /> <br /> Hey friends. Big things (and big changes) afoot a ye ol’ Wax Atlas. After saving us from near destruction in 2022, Hamilton Lauraville Main Street graciously allowed us to use their incubator space for nearly 2 years (18 months longer than we ever expected!). <br /> <br /> While we’re beyond-the-moon grateful, we need to find a new home by AUGUST 1st. <br /> <br /> Our plan is to continue to operate the store and recycling/giveaway program while adding a modest, but proper performance space for expanded community programming.<br /> <br /> We are a not-for-profit endeavor, so we really need help finding the right fit.<br /> <br /> We are looking for at least 1500-2000 sq feet in the Hamilton-Lauraville / 21214 / NE Baltimore area. In addition to retail, we need to be able to host performances by local musicians and artists. Ideally we’d buy a building but, sadly, Andy is not made of money. Exact location is secondary to space, low rent, and landlords / neighbors that understand and support our mission. <br /> <br /> Ways you can help?<br /> <br /> GET THE WORD OUT! Help find a space in the area that we can make a forever home without breaking the bank (or anyone’s eardrums).<br /> <br /> Sell or donate records, CDs, electronics, etc to help raise money for the move.<br /> <br /> Volunteer to help with the move planning or the move itself (records are heavy). <br /> <br /> Spread the word about the store, buy records, and attend our shows!<br /> <br /> Since we started this in Andy’s basement 7 Years ago, this has always been a community effort.
