A lot of times, music artists get frustrated and leave their hometown thinking ‘more love’ is in another city. Your hometown day-ones is always rooting for you and waiting for your return back even if you felt the ‘lack of’ support when you were there.<br /> <br /> 2. GET UP CLOSE & PERSONAL<br /> JT was often seen taking pictures, embracing A LOT OF hugs and signing t-shirts. She had small talks with fans while holding toddlers and leaning on smiling teenage girls. Each event featured her from merchandise to moving billboards. Her tour bus was wrapped with the upcoming project #CityCinderella<br /> <br /> 3. COMMUNITY OUTREACH IS THE BIGGEST REACH<br /> JT involved social media influencers,<br /> other local artists, community activists, club promoters, educators and politicians. Just 24 hours before her tour stop in her hometown she announced her ‘prom giveaway’ on social media. A strong initiative was having over 50 kids from her hometown and their parents to join her around the city for a tour bus ride and dinner after. 50 young girls will never forget that day. <br /> <br /> 4. BE VERY INTENTIONAL EVEN WHEN BEING YOURSELF<br /> Her team planned a very strategic 3 day tour - which means she was intentional with each step, each event, even every outfit. Throughout the 3 day weekend #JT was spotted in over 6 different looks and wigs each reflecting how she would show up to her big concert stages or online. She did not water herself down at the local #BackyardBBQ concerts.
