Simultaneously, I was completing my Master&#039;s in Organizational Leadership. The weight of grief and academic rigor took a toll on my body, leading to an aggressive autoimmune disorder that affected my optic nerve and more.<br /> <br /> The Creative Void: A Loss of Expression<br /> <br /> Devastated by my physical limitations, I grappled with the loss of my creative outlet. Jewelry design had always been my means of self-expression, but now, I faced dimensions altered by chronic migraines and optic neuritis episodes. Life had shifted, and I needed a new way to connect with the world.<br /> <br /> The Gift of Scent: A Revelation<br /> <br /> In adversity, we often discover hidden strengths. For me, it was my heightened sense of smell. As my vision faltered, my olfactory world expanded.
