13 – 16 March 2024 PART 1 OF 2<br /> <br /> He teaches my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms.<br /> <br /> The above is Psalms 18:34, a Psalm of David, which we know is almost identical to 2 Samuel 22, substantively differing only in the absence of its first verse which is the title of the Psalm. <br /> <br /> It (the Psalm) is repeated here as received, both in its letter and the deeper understanding the LORD opens (uncovers) by faith in His leading, knowing it's Him, present, speaking to us directly.<br /> <br /> From the title verse, we understand the bow refers to the fiery darts cast by the enemies warring against the LORD and those sent as His men of war. <br /> <br /> The Psalm, early in verse 30, says, “As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.” As we know, the “buckler,” from the Hebrew word magen, is a small handheld shield used offensively and defensively in battle.”<br /> <br /> David goes on to say, in verse 35, speaking of himself (as I speak of myself) in the LORD’s hand, “You have also given me the shield [magen] of your salvation: and your right hand has held me up, and your gentleness has made me great.”<br /> <br /> The LORD then leads to Ephesians 6:16, there telling us this buckler is our faith.<br /> <br /> Ephesians 6<br /> 5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh [here speaking the authority the LORD has vested in me over His ONE BODY], with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart [One mind], as unto Christ;<br /> 6 Not with eyeservice [not needing to be watched over, in today’s terms, not needing to be micromanaged], as men-pleasers [not working or speaking for the commendation of men, or to appease them]; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart [a sound One mind];<br /> 7 With good will doing service, as to the LORD, and not to men:<br /> 8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man does, the same shall he receive of the LORD, whether he be bond [as I Am] or free.<br /> 9 And, you masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.<br /> 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the LORD, and in the power [kratos – referring to its use in Ephesians 1:19] of his might.<br /> <br /> Ephesians 1<br /> 17 That the God of our LORD Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:<br /> 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; Amen<br /> <br /> Ephesians 4<br /> 1 I therefore, the prisoner of the LORD, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called,<br /> 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;<br /> 3 Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.<br /> 4 There is ONE BODY, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling;<br /> 5 One LORD, one faith, one baptism,<br /> 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;<br /> 12 For the perfecting [teleios – completing, filling to the full] of the saints, for the work of the ministry [dispensing the gifts giving], for the edifying [building up through education] of the [ONE] body of Christ:<br /> 13 Till we all come in the unity [the ONE BODY unified, risen with ONE Mind] of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect [teleios] man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness [pleroma – filled full, complete] of Christ:<br /> 14 That we henceforth be no more children [speaking childish things], tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of [false] doctrine, by the sleight [kubeia – only used here, meaning defrauding, by sleight of logic, censorship, and gaslighting] of men, and cunning craftiness [panourgia – sophistry, false arguments – as we now see it pervading our legal system, news and social media, education, the popular culture in general, while they all, as one evil body, with these means, falsely accuse the (innocent) of doing what they themselves have wickedly done and continue to do] whereby they lie in wait to deceive;<br /> 15 But speaking the truth in love [agape – giving it as received, as commanded], may grow up into him [putting away childish things, becoming men] in all things, which is the head, even Christ:<br /> 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working [of the word God has given us] in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body [in which the Giver dwells] unto the edifying [building it, the ONE BODY of Christ] of itself in love [agape – through giving the knowledge of God He has given us through those He chooses and sends].<br /> 17 This I say therefore, and testify in the LORD, that you henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk [those who don’t know the LORD], in the vanity [worthlessness] of their mind [without Him],<br /> 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart [minds]:<br /> 19 Who being past feeling [apalgeo – only used here, meaning no longer able to comprehend what they are experiencing, taken away into apathy] have given themselves over unto lasciviousness [aselgeia – incontinent; unable to control what comes out them], to work all uncleanness [akatharsia – impure motives] with greediness [to extort the innocent, for the love {agape} of money over God, the root of all evil].<br /> 20 But you have not so learned Christ;<br /> 21 If so be that you have heard him [here teaching], and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:<br /> 22 That you put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;<br /> 23 And be renewed in the spirit [the LORD] of your mind;<br /> 24 And that you put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.<br /> 25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.<br /> 26 Be you angry [passionately oppose evil], and sin not [not doing evil against evil]: let not the sun go down upon your [abandon not this understanding because of] wrath:<br /> 27 Neither give place to the devil [give no quarter, oppose with good, those working evil].<br /> 28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have [the good he is given] to give to him that needs.<br /> 29 Let no corrupt [sapros – the “corrupt” fruit that comes from the “corrupt” tree; the word only appearing here outside the three Gospels where it’s used saying this] communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying [building up the ONE BODY of Christ by giving His teaching], that it may minister grace [dispense these treasures] unto the hearers.<br /> 30 And grieve not [with corrupt communication] the holy Spirit of God [the unknown LORD working and speaking through you], whereby you are sealed [marked – by your fruit] unto the day of redemption.<br /> 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger [passionately doing evil], and clamor, and evil speaking [blasphemia], be put away from you, with all malice:<br /> 32 And be you kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.<br /> <br /> The (five times used) word panourgia, rendered “craftiness” in verse 14 above, is the fruit of the corrupt, in which the LORD traps them as they mark themselves with their own words (corrupt conversation), revealing their evil thoughts (in their head) and their evil works (in their hands), masked in their claims of “good” intentions, paving the way into death and hell, destroying lives and livelihoods.<br /> <br /> Luke 20<br /> 17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?<br /> 18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder [likmao – the crushed chaff that is blown away from the cleansed wheat].<br /> 19 And the chief priests and the scribes [the false prophets and false teachers among us in church and state] the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.<br /> 20 And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.<br /> 21 And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that you say and teach rightly, neither accept you the person of any, but teach the way of God truly:<br /> 22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar [those from whom You’ve severed us], or no?<br /> 23 But he perceived their craftiness [panourgia], and said unto them, “Why tempt you me [doubting the Father, God, in who you say you trust, is present in me]?”<br /> 24 Show me a penny, Whose image and superscription has it? They answered and said, Caesar's. [Now, the penny, all US money, has “In God We Trust” as its inscription, along with the faces of men who loved and defended this nation, its Constitution, against enemies foreign and domestic. Do those in power put their trust in God? Are they not only the enemies of God, but also those who also hate this nation as Constituted, who took an oath to defend them, an oath which they’ve violated?”]<br /> 25 And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's [render against them the defense that should be theirs], and unto God the things which be God's [Your trust in the ONE who can be trusted].<br /> 26 And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marveled at his answer, and held their peace.<br /> <br /> 1 Corinthians 3<br /> 8 Now he that plants [us, this nation, Jezreel the LORD promises to plant] and he [the same LORD among us working and speaking unknown] that waters are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.<br /> 9 For we are laborers together with God: you are God's husbandry [those He’s planted and watered], you are God's building [edified by His teaching].<br /> 10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master-builder, I have laid the foundation [revealing Himself as Christ alive and present in me, in His ONE BODY], and another builds thereon [teaching these same truths, precept upon precept, line upon line]. But let every man take heed how he builds thereupon.<br /> 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ [Jehovah’s Salvation manifested, revealed, in the flesh of those working His work and speaking His words of Salvation].<br /> 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;<br /> 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day [this light now risen] shall declare it [from the mouths of those who receive it as His, and His presence], because it shall be revealed by fire [from my mouth and yours]; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.<br /> 14 If any man's work abide which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.<br /> 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.<br /> 16 Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?<br /> 17 If any man defiles the temple of God [by their corrupt communication keeping His people from rising with Him into heaven, this place of full understanding here on the earth], him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy [without men’s corruption], which temple you are.<br /> 18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seem to be wise in [the corruption of] this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.<br /> 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. but you see me: because I live, you shall live also.<br /> 20 At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.<br /> 21 He that has my commandments, and keep [guards and protects] them [from the corruption of the betrayers], he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved [given this truth, understanding, and sight] of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.<br /> 22 Judas [Judah – the elect remnant the LORD has with Him raised first] says unto him, not Iscariot [not the betrayers, the misleaders who sold their birthright], LORD, how is it that you will manifest yourself unto us, and not unto the world?<br /> 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me [receives this word as My presence manifested], he will keep [guard and protect] my words [from the corruptors and betrayers]: and my Father will love him [giving him this word, as I have given it in His name: declaring it is His identity present], and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him [dwelling in him, when His word dwells in us, effectually working until Christ is born in us, and we rise from death to life with Him].<br /> 24 He that loves me not keeps not my sayings [continues hearing and following the corrupt words of men]: and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.<br /> 25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.<br /> 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name [manifesting His identity], he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.<br /> <br /> John 3<br /> 11 Truly, truly, I say unto you, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and you receive not our witness.<br /> 12 If I have told you earthly things, and you believe not, how shall you believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?<br /> 13 And no man has ascended up to heaven [into full understanding], but he that came down from heaven [received full understanding from the throne there in the clouds], even the Son of man which is in heaven [has been given full understanding from the throne].<br /> 14 And as Moses lifted up the [fiery] serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up [that this voice is exalted above all others]:<br /> 15 That whosoever believes in him should not perish [with those perishing by their own words, their corrupt conversation], but have eternal life.<br /> 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.<br /> 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.<br /> 18 He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.<br /> 19 And this is the condemnation [krisis – this is the decision point that divides the saved from those choosing condemnation], that light [understanding which is life] is come into the world, and men loved darkness [ignorance] rather than light [understanding and life], because their deeds were evil.<br /> 20 For every one that does evil hates the light [understanding and life], neither comes to the light [understanding, life], lest his deeds should be reproved.<br /> 21 But he that does truth comes to the light [this understanding and life], that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God [the Father in them working and speaking].<br /> <br /> 2 Corinthians 11<br /> 1 Would to God you could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.<br /> 2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.<br /> 3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty [panourgia – craftiness, his corrupt conversation], so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.<br /> 4 For if he that comes preaches another Jesus [for men now preach the many perverted Jesus’ they’ve created], whom we have not preached, or if you receive another spirit [the many false doctrines now taught by many false comforters], which you have not received [as the LORD’s presence], or another gospel [of which there are now many], which you have not accepted [they were not of the LORD’s dispensation], you might well bear with him.<br /> 5 For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.<br /> 6 But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been thoroughly made manifest among you in all things.<br /> <br /> 12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we [as men is whom a spirit is working and speaking, the LORD in us and Satan in them].<br /> 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.<br /> 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.<br /> 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works [by their own craftiness].<br /> 16 I say again, let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little [in what you describe as foolishness, because you are wise].<br /> 17 That which I speak, I speak it not after the LORD, but as it were [by your messure] foolishly, in this confidence of boasting [of the LORD in me].<br /> 18 Seeing that many glory after the flesh [which is true foolishness], I will glory also.<br /> 19 For you suffer [true] fools gladly [who boast they are wise], seeing you yourselves are wise.<br /> 20 For you suffer, if a [wise] man brings you into bondage, if a [wise] man devour you, if a [wise] man take of you, if a [wise] man exalt himself, if a [wise] man smite you on the face.<br /> 21 I speak as concerning reproach [when I suffer it as a fool among the wise of this world], as though we had been weak [not using our power to do to you as the wise do]. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly [to you falsely so-called wise men],) I am bold also [boasting it is the LORD in me proving He is the only wisdom in man, suffering fools until they see Him or destroy themselves in the fires created by their works of true foolishness, which have no effect on those sent into them {the fires} by the LORD].<br /> <br /> Jude 1<br /> 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.<br /> 4 For there are certain men crept in [among you] unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness [aselgeia – incontinence, their corrupt conversation they cannot control themselves from spewing], and denying the only LORD God [as it is now logically apparent], and our LORD Jesus Christ.<br /> 5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though you once knew this, how that the LORD, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not [this is what men should fear].<br /> 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate [left the charge they vowed to keep, which is to deliver the LORD’s message as received], but left their own habitation [and spoke their own ways and ideas against the LORD], he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness [their own ignorance] unto the judgment of the great day.<br /> 7 Even as Sodom [consumed in flaming fire] and Gomorrah [left an uninhabitable ruin], and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.<br /> 8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.<br /> 9 Yet Michael [who is like God, made in His image to manifest His presence] the archangel [who is sent to stands in these last days with this message for humanity, against the whiles of the devils], when contending with the devil[s – the misleaders crept in among us unaware] he disputed about the body of Moses [the LORD’s body of work through Him: the Law], durst not bring against him a railing accusation [blasphemia krisis – he didn’t decide to speak evil against him], but said, The LORD rebuke you [as we are to openly rebuke evil speaking, but not render evil for evil].<br /> 10 But these speak evil [their corrupt conversation, uncontrollably spewing their own ignorance of God and, not knowing the time, of these last days] of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts [without the LORD’s Spirit], in those things they corrupt themselves. [see Romans 13 below, verse 11 saying “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed {the present reality of what we hoped for}.”],<br /> 11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.<br /> 12 These are spots in your feasts of charity [their evil conversation staining the message the LORD has given, refusing to give it as received], when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear [ignorant of their own destruction]: clouds they are without water [in who this understanding now is, but they refuse to give it as commanded], carried about of winds [of their own false doctrines]; [corrupt] trees whose [corrupt] fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead [of old and now again choosing death], plucked up by the roots;<br /> 13 Raging waves of the sea [evil men, blinded by their pride, risen over humanity], foaming out [words from their mouth] their own shame; wandering stars [planets, deceivers, moving erratically in the heavens, places where understanding should be, who can’t be relied on to navigate in the darkness, as can the true stars], to whom [these deceivers] is reserved the blackness of darkness [to wander in the own ignorance] forever.<br /> 14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the LORD comes with ten thousands of his saints [the true stars of heaven],<br /> 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken [their blasphemy] against him.<br /> 16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouths speak great swelling words [of pride], having men's persons in admiration because of advantage [excusing evil, even calling it good, if it is to their advantage to do so].<br /> 17 But, beloved, remember you the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our LORD Jesus Christ;<br /> 18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time [the time we know is upon us, the last days of darkness covering the earth], who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.<br /> 19 These be they who separate themselves [from God and His ONE BODY], sensual, having not the [ONE] Spirit.<br /> 20 But you, beloved, building up yourselves [upon this teaching from the LORD himself] on your most holy faith [in Christ, the LORD with us, in us, and we in Him], praying in the Holy Ghost [conversing with the LORD present, but unseen by the corrupt world],<br /> 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy [in this conversation at the mercy seat] of our LORD Jesus Christ unto eternal life.<br /> 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference [changing their mind, by giving the word from the LORD, declaring it is His presence manifested, come to effectually work to save the world from itself, freeing it from those intentionally corrupting all truth]:<br /> 23 And others save with fear [telling them destruction is the end to come for those remaining in the fires these men’s corrupt conversations cause], pulling [harpazo – the word rendered “caught up” in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, which the false prophets, with their evil speaking twist into the false doctrine of an off the planet “rapture,” which is, in reality, His, in us, “pulling”] them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted [stained by the corrupt conversation] by the flesh [those having not the LORD’s Spirit, and therefore remaining ignorant of Him, His truth, and the time at hand, when we gather into His ONE BODY with Him].<br /> 24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling [with the wicked], and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory [His manifested presence] with exceeding joy [when you realize it is Him and that we’ve reached the end He promised],<br /> 25 To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever.
